1Plasma biomarker screening for liver fibrosis with the N-terminal isotope tagging strategy显示文摘A non-invasive diagnostic approach is crucial for the evaluation of severity of liver disease,treatment decisions,and assessing drug efficacy.This study evaluated plasma proteomic profiling via an N-terminal isotope tagging strategy coupled with liquid chromatography/Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometry measurement to detect liver fibrosis staging.Pooled plasma from different liver fibrosis stages,which were assessed in advance by the current gold-standard of liver biopsy,was quantitatively analyzed.A total of 72 plasma proteins were found to be dysregulated during the fibrogenesis process,and this finding constituted a valuable candidate plasma biomarker bank for follow-up analysis.Validation results of fibronectin by Western blotting reconfirmed the mass-based data.Ingenuity Pathways Analysis showed four types of metabolic networks for the functional effect of liver fibrosis disease in chronic hepatitis B patients.Consequently,quantitative proteomics via the N-terminal acetyl isotope labeling technique provides an effective and useful tool for screening plasma candidate biomarkers for liver fibrosis.We quantitatively monitored the fibrogenesis process in CHB patients.We discovered many new valuable candidate biomarkers for the diagnosis of liver fibrosis and also partly identified the mechanism involved in liver fibrosis disease.These results provide a clearer understanding of liver fibrosis pathophysiology and will also hopefully lead to improvement of clinical diagnosis and treatment.LI ShuLong LIU Xin WEI Lai WANG HuiFen ZHANG JiYang WEI HanDong QIAN XiaoHong JIANG Ying HE FuChu 2011Science China(Life Sciences)2011,54,5:6
2Advances in MoS_2-Based Field Effect Transistors(FETs)显示文摘This paper reviews the original achievements and advances regarding the field effect transistor(FET) fabricated from one of the most studied transition metal dichalcogenides: two-dimensional Mo S2. Not like graphene, which is highlighted by a gapless Dirac cone band structure, Monolayer Mo S2 is featured with a 1.9 e V gapped direct energy band thus facilitates convenient electronic and/or optoelectronic modulation of its physical properties in FET structure. Indeed,many Mo S2 devices based on FET architecture such as phototransistors, memory devices, and sensors have been studied and extraordinary properties such as excellent mobility, ON/OFF ratio, and sensitivity of these devices have been exhibited. However, further developments in FET device applications depend a lot on if novel physics would be involved in them. In this review, an overview on advances and developments in the Mo S2-based FETs are presented. Engineering of Mo S2-based FETs will be discussed in details for understanding contact physics, formation of gate dielectric, and doping strategies. 3Ent-kaurane and ent-abietane diterpenoids from Isodon phyllostachys显示文摘Four new diterpenoids, phyllostachysins I–L(1–4), along with a known one, hebeiabinin B(5), were isolated from the aerial parts of Isodon phyllostachys(I. phyllostachys). Compounds 1 and 2 feature an ent-kaurane backbone, and 3, 4 and 5 bear an ent-abietane skeleton. Their structures were elucidated by means of spectroscopic analysis. 5Effect of photoionisation on initial discharge in air under nanosecond pulse voltage显示文摘Effects of photoionisation on the development and electron runaway of the initial discharge in atmospheric air under nanosecond pulse voltage were studied via twodimensional particle-in-cell/Monte Carlo collision simulations.It was found that photoionisation has little effect at the beginning of the initial discharge.However,as the discharge channel gradually develops towards the anode,photoionisation shows greater impacts on the morphology of discharge but has little influence on the velocity of discharge development.Photoionisation does not appear to have a decisive effect on the growth trend of the highest energy of runaway electrons,but it does affect the change rate of the highest energy and overall distribution of electron energy,resulting in a higher proportion of energetic electrons.The difference in the distributions of the electron energy between the two cases,with and without considering photoionisation,can be attributed to the impact of photoionisation on the discharge morphology,which in turn distorted the electric field.The spatial density distributions of the electrons produced by photoionisation further explained the differences.The authors’results explicitly demonstrate the influence of photoionisation on the development and the electron runaway of the initial discharge under nanosecond pulse voltage,which provides more comprehensive knowledge for the atmospheric air gap nanosecond pulse discharge physics.Yutai Li Yangyang Fu Zhigang Liu Handong Li Peng Wang Haiyun Luo Xiaobing Zou Xinxin Wang 2023High Voltage2023,8,2:2
6Improving flesh quality of grass carp(Ctenopharyngodon idellus)by completely replacing dietary soybean meal with yellow mealworm(Tenebrio molitor)显示文摘In order to find viable alternative protein sources for aquaculture,we evaluated the effect of partial or complete replacement of dietary soybean meal with yellow mealworm(TM)on the flesh quality of grass carp.In this study,180 grass carp(511.85±0.25 g)were fed 3 experimental diets in which 0%(CN),30%(YM30)and 100%(YM100)dietary soybean meal was replaced by TM for 90 d.The results showed that growth performance,biological parameters and serum antioxidant capacity of grass carp were not affected by dietary TM(P>0.05).Both muscle and whole body crude protein were obviously promoted with the increase of dietary TM(P<0.05),and the concentration of heavy metal in muscle was not influenced(P>0.05),indicating that food safety was not influenced by TM.Dietary TM improved muscle textural characteristics by elevating adhesiveness,springiness and chewiness in YM100(P<0.05).In addition,the muscle tenderness was significantly increased by declining the shear force(P<0.05).The muscle fiber density in YM30&YM100 and length of dark bands and sarcomeres in YM100 were obviously increased(P<0.05).The expression of myf5,myog and myhc exhibited a significant upward trend with the increase of dietary TM(P<0.05),which promoted fiber density,length of sarcomere and texture of grass carp muscle.According to the results of metabolomics,the arachidonate(ARA)and eicosapentaenoic acid(EPA)were notably elevated in YM30 and YM100,which indicated that the improvement of flesh quality of grass carp may contribute to the dietary TM influence on muscle lipid metabolism,especially the polyunsaturated fatty acids.In conclusion,TM can completely replace dietary soybean meal and improve the nutritional value of grass carp.Handong Li Rongrong Xue Jian Sun Hong Ji 2023Animal Nutrition2023,,1:2

10Integrated supersonic wind tunnel nozzle显示文摘In supersonic wind tunnels, the airflow at the exit of a convergent-divergent nozzle is affected by the connection between the nozzle and test section, because the connection is a source of disturbance for supersonic flow and the source of disturbance generated by this disturbance propagates downstream. In order to avoid the disturbance, the test can only be carried out in the rhombus area. However, for the supersonic nozzle, the rhombus region is small, limiting the size and attitude angle of the test model. An integrated supersonic nozzle is a nozzle and a test section as a whole, which is designed to weaken or eliminate the disturbance. The inviscid contour of the supersonic nozzle is based on the method of characteristics. A new curve is formed by the smooth connection between the inviscid contour and test section, and the boundary layer is corrected for the overall curve. Integrated supersonic nozzles with Mach number 1.5 and 2 are designed, which are based on this method. The flow field is validated by numerical and experimental results. The results of the study highlight the importance of the connection about the nozzle outlet and test section. 13Al homogeneous deposition induced by N-containing functional groups for enhanced cycling stability of Al-ion battery negative electrode显示文摘Rechargeable Al-ion batteries(AIBs)are considered as one of the most fascinating energy storage systems due to abundant Al resource and low cost.However,the cycling stability is subjected to critical problems for using Al foil as negative electrode,including Al dendrites,corrosion and pulverization.For addressing these problems,here a lightweight self-supporting N-doped carbon rod array(NCRA)is demonstrated for a long-life negative electrode in AIBs.Experimental analysis and first-principle calculations reveal the storage mechanism involving the induced deposition of N-containing function groups to Al as well as the ideal skeleton of the NCRA matrix for Al plating/stripping,which is favorable for regulating Al nucleation and suppressing dendrites growth.Compared with the Al foil,the NCRA exhibits lower areal mass density(∼72%of Al foil),smaller thickness(40%of Al foil),but much longer cycle life(>4 times of Al foil).Benefiting from the remarkable stability of the array structure,symmetric cells show excellent cycling stability with small voltage hysteresis(∼80 mV)and meanwhile there are no corrosion and pulverization problems even after cycled for 120 hours.Besides,full cells also manifest long lifespan(1,500 cycles)and increased Coulombic efficiency(100±1%).Handong Jiao Shuqiang Jiao Wei-Li Song Xiang Xiao Dongmei She Na Li Haosen Chen Jiguo Tu Mingyong Wang Daining Fang 2021Nano Research2021,14,3:1
14Mechanisms of antinociceptive effects of ouabain in combination with neostigmine in the rat显示文摘BACKGROUND: It has been previously shown that intrathecal administration of either ouabain or neostigmine can produce antinociceptive effects. Moreover, ouabain and neostigmine are differently associated with acetylcholine. OBJECTIVE: It has been hypothesized that intrathecal administration of ouabain, in combination with neostigmine, can produce antinociceptive synergistic effects. Atropine, as a competitive antagonist, was pre-injected to verify the mechanisms of action. DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING: This study was a randomized, controlled, animal experiment, performed at the State Key Laboratory of Oncology in Southern China between May 2006 and February 2007. MATERIALS: A total of 102 healthy, adult, Sprague Dawley rats were included. Ouabain and neostigmine (Sigma, USA), as well as atropine (Tanabe Seiyaku, Japan), were also used. METHODS: Varied doses of ouabain, neostigmine, and a combination of the two were intrathecally injected into rats. Six rats were allotted for each dose group. Intrathecal pretreatment with atropine was tested 10 minutes prior to intrathecal administration of neostigmine or the combination of ouabain and neostigmine. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Tail-flick tests were performed to measure tail-flick latency (seconds) prior to and after administration. The response in the tail-flick test was expressed as the percentage of maximum possible effect (% MPE), where % MPE = [tail-flick latency after administration (seconds) -mean baseline value for tail-flick latency]/[10 seconds - the mean baseline value for tail-flick latency (seconds)] × 100%. RESULTS: Rat spinal intrathecal administration of either ouabain or neostigmine alone produced antinociceptive effects in a dose-dependent manner. Intrathecally administration of neostigmine (0.05, 0.1, 0.3 μg ) in combination with ouabain (1 μg ) produced enhanced antinociceptive effects, with a % MPE of 29%, 78%, and 95%, respectively (P < 0.05). Intrathecally administration of 0.3 μg neostigmine (% MPE: 45%), in combination with 1 μg ouabain (% MPE: 27%) produced potent antinociceptive effects (% MPE: 95%). Intrathecally pre-injected atropine antagonized the antinociceptive effects of neostigmine (3 μg), or a combination of ouabain (1 μg) and neostigmine (0.3 μg) (P < 0.01). CONCLUSION: Rat spinal intrathecal administration of either ouabain or neostigmine alone produced dose-dependent antinociceptive effects. Ouabain enhanced the antinociceptive effects of neostigmine. Atropine antagonized the antinociceptive effects of neostigmine or the combination of ouabain and neostigmine. 15Anomalous phenomena in DC–ULF geomagnetic daily variation registered three days before the 12 May 2008 Wenchuan M_S 8.0 earthquake显示文摘The hourly data of the vertical Z and the horizontal H components of 37 ground-based DC-ULF geomagnetic stations are examined during 20 April-12 May 2008. On 9 May 2008, three days before the Wenchuan MS 8.0 shock, anomalies-a double low-point and a decreased amplitude-are registered on the curves of the Z component at 25 stations in a large-scale area surrounding the Wenchuan epicentral area. The H component shows none of the double low-point phenomenon but does exhibit a reduced magnitude at the same time. The geomagnetic index Kp is also examined and indicates that the anomalies appear at a solar quiet period. The appearing time shift(Tzs) between the first low-point on May 9 and the minimum point occurring time of May 1-5, 2008 is also checked.The results show that Tzs is on the order of 1-2 hours earlier or later than usual and there is a 2-6 hours’ gap between these two lowpoints. However, there is still a transition area which includes the epicenter where Tzs=0. Variation amplitude examined on vertical Z increases as the distance from the epicenter decreases. An Earth-air-ionosphere model has been employed to investigate a possible mechanism of this phenomenon and positive results have been unexpectedly attained. 17Alternations in the gut microbiota and metabolome with newly diagnosed unstable angina显示文摘Gut microbiota plays an important role in coronary heart disease, but its compositional and functional changes in unstable angina(UA) remain unexplored. We performed metagenomic sequencing of 133 newly diagnosed UA patients and 133 sex-and age-matched controls, and profiled the fecal and plasma metabolomes in 30 case-control pairs. The alpha diversity of gut microbiota was increased in UA patients:the adjusted odds ratios(ORs) per standard deviation increase in Shannon and Simpson indices were 1.30(95% confidence interval, 1.01-1.70) and 1.36(1.05-1.81), respectively. Two common species(depleted Klebsiella pneumoniae and enriched Streptococcus parasanguinis;P ≤ 0.002) and three rare species(depleted Weissella confusa, enriched Granulicatella adiacens and Erysipelotrichaceae bacterium 6_1_45;P ≤ 0.005) were associated with UA. The UA-associated gut microbiota was depleted in the pathway of Lphenylalanine degradation(P = 0.001), primarily contributed by Klebsiella pneumoniae. Consistently, we found increased circulating phenylalanine in UA patients(OR = 2.76 [1.17-8.16]). Moreover, Streptococcus parasanguinis was negatively correlated with fecal citrulline(Spearman's r_(s)=-0.470, P = 0.009), a metabolite depleted in UA patients(OR = 0.26 [0.08-0.63]). 18To identify Chinese university patents'transferability:Indicators from the perspective of bibliometrics显示文摘It is of great significance to study the indicators of university patents’transferability for improving the efficiency of the University Technology Transfer Office and promoting university patent transfer.Based on the in-depth analysis of the existing research,this paper finds that patent quality is the inherent decisive factor of patent transferability.Combining with the evaluation indexes of patent quality and the bibliometrics characteristics of university patents,9 indicators are proposed to indicate the transferability of university patents.Based on the patent transfer data of 35 Chinese universities,this paper analyzes and verifies the potential indicators of patent transfer using the binary logistic regression method.The results show that the number of inventors and the number of non-patent document citations positively predict the transferability of university patents,while the examination duration negatively predicts transferability.The effects of other indicators on transferability need to be discussed considering the actual situation and specific technology fields.Handong Zhang Rui Li Binhua Fu Qunying Wu 2022Data Science and Informetrics2022,2,1:1
