1Laser Welding of TC-1 Titanium Alloy显示文摘The technology of CO2 laser welding and joint properties of titanium alloy were investigated. The problem of moltenpool protection was resolved by designing a shielding trailer and a special clamp. Joints with silvery appearance wereobtained, which have no pore and crack. In addition, the welding speed could reach 3 m/min for the plate of 1.5 mmthickness being penetrated. The reason of the porosity formation in partial penetration joints is that the keyholescan be easily cut apart in the radial direction, which makes the gas enclosed in the molten pool. 5Experimental evidence for field-induced metamagnetic transition of EuCd_(2)As_(2)显示文摘Recent studies have shown that layered compound EuCd_(2)As_(2) could exhibit diverse topological states depending on the different magnetic structures,such as Weyl semimetal,Dirac semimetal and topological insulato r.In order to further study the interplay between magnetism and topology of EuCd_(2)As_(2),it is necessary to figure out its magnetic structure.Here,by magnetization(M) measurements and negative magnetostriction(λ) along the [001] direction measured by scanning tunneling microscopy on EuCd_(2)As_(2) single crystals,we observe field-induced metamagnetic phase transition from A-type antiferromagnetic(AFM) ground state to field-polarized state,with canted AFM(CAFM) state in between.Magnetization and magnetostriction are more sensitive to the in-plane field than the out-of-plane field,indicating the magnetic moments lying in the ab plane.The absence of abrupt jump on M-H and λ-H curves demonstrates that the phase transition is a second-order type.In CAFM state,M increases linearly with the field and λ is proportional to M~2.Tunneling conductance spectra show the field-induced evolution of the electronic density of states.Our results provide experimental evidence for understanding the magnetic structure of EuCd_(2)As_(2).Yingkai Sun Yong Li Shuaishuai Li Changjiang Yi Hanbin Deng Xin Du Limin Liu Changjiang Zhu Yuan Li Zheng Wang Hanqing Mao Youguo Shi Rui Wu 2022Journal of Rare Earths2022,40,10:0
6An engineering approach to improve the accuracy of one-step simulation for vehicle forming-to-crashworthiness integrated evaluation显示文摘To improve the accuracy of the vehicle crashworthiness simulation,it is necessary as well as important to integrate the valid forming effects of key parts.It has been agreed by many that one-step simulation results should be used only as a qualitative trend of the part but not as an engineering result for further structural analysis,especially for a relatively complex part.The study shows that it is inaccurate to analyze the forming effects with one-step simulation based on the geometry of the final part through comparison with the incremental simulation and verification with the actual part,whether in thickness or in plastic strain.However,incremental simulation is very time consuming and infeasible in the early stage of vehicle design due to lacking of forming tools and process parameters.An engineering approach is proposed to meet the requirement of accuracy as well as the time efficiency,where one-step simulation is conducted based on the geometry of the transformed part instead of the final part.The geometry of the transformed part is generated by simple die design engineering and proves to offer much more accuracy than the one-step simulation based on the final part geometry.WANG WuRong GUO BiMeng WEI XiCheng WANG DaZhi DU HanBin 2012Science China(Technological Sciences)2012,55,6:0
