| 1 | Review of surface transient charge measurement on solid insulating materials via the Pockels technique显示文摘Surface charges accumulated on solid insulating materials in electrical apparatuses and electronic devices could distort the initial electric field and severely damage the insulation performance.Accurate transient surface charge measurement is critical to determine the mechanisms of charge transport and flashover occurrence,and estimate surface insulation strength under high voltage.The measurement technique based on the Pockels electro-optic effect is considered as the only approach for 2-D dynamic charge distribution behaviour so far,and it has good capability to avoid original electric field distortion caused by conven-tional methods featured by metal probes.This paper reviews recent progress of the non-invasive dynamic surface charge measurement systems on the Pockels technique.We focus especially on typical systems with transmitting and reflecting configurations and the frequently used fast inversion algorithms.It can be inferred that higher spatial-temporal resolution,higher signal-to-noise ratio,and better compatibility for both transparent and opaque materials are the future development trends,which greatly depend on multiple technological breakthroughs at impact-resistant electro-optic crystals,advanced high-speed photography and high-performance inversion algorithms.In addition,the recent studies on transient behaviour of surface discharge,together with the present limitation and future prospects are discussed.It is expected that more ideas will be inspired in transient surface charge measurement by the Pockels technique and other relevant electro-optic methods. | Bo Zhang Jianyi Xue Xingyu Chen Sile Chen Haibao Mu Yang Xu Guanjun Zhang | 2021 | High Voltage2021,6,4: | 2 |
| 2 | Real-time retrieval of submicron aerosol size distributions from multi-wavelength spectral extinction measurements显示文摘The real-time retrieval of submicron aerosol size distributions is of major interest for applications. Based on the Mie theory,the spectral extinction method offers a simple measurement principle and a convenient optical arrangement. In contrast to the relative simplicity of the experimental measurement the retrieval of the particles size distribution and particle concentration from the spectral extinction method is difficult. Mie scattering Equation is a Fredholm Integral Equation of the First Kind. This paper develops a hybrid iterative model-dependent algorithm for on-line particle sizing from extinction spectra which is both computationally efficient and accurate. Applying the refined Mie diagnostic iterative procedures within some candidate solutions can identify the unique result accurately and rapidly enough for real time measurement. | 4 | Space Charge Characteristics of Oil-paper Insulation with New Paper and Aged Oil显示文摘Oil-paper compound insulation has been widely used in power transformers for quite a long time because of its good performances. The insulation gradually degrades under combined thermal, electrical and chemical stresses during routine operations, mainly because of space charges inside. This work investigated the space charge characteristics in oil-paper insulation under oil aging circumstance. New trans- former oil samples are thermally aged to obtain different aging states, and their physical and chemical properties are analyzed. New Kraft papers are dried in vacuum and fully immersed in these different aged oil samples, and three kinds of oil-paper samples are obtained. We use the pulsed electro-acoustic (PEA) method to measure space charge under both DC voltage-on and voltage-off conditions at room temperature. The effect of oil aging state on characteristics of space charge injection, accumulation, and decay is analyzed and discussed. The results show that comparing with the DC voltage-off condition, more charges are injected into samples at the interface of electrode and dielectric when DC voltage is on. When the oil-aged state gets worse, more charges are induced at both cathode and anode, more space charges are accumulated in the bulk, the area of negative charges is larger, and local electric field is distorted more seriously. | 5 | Construction of a novel Ag/Ag_(3)PO_(4)/MIL-68(In)-NH_(2)plasmonic heterojunction photocatalyst for high-efficiency photocatalysis显示文摘To boost the visible light catalytic performance of typical metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)materials(MIL-68(In)-NH_(2)),a novel stable Z-scheme Ag/Ag_(3)PO_(4)/MIL-68(In)-NH_(2)plasmonic photocatalyst was constructed by electrostatic attraction,co-precipitation reaction,and in-situ photoreduction reaction methods for the first time.The photocatalytic activities of the photocatalysts are systematically explored by the photocatalytic degradation of bisphenol A(BPA)and reduction of Cr(VI)under visible light.Ag/Ag_(3)PO_(4)/MIL-68(In)-NH_(2)displays the best photocatalytic performance among the as-prepared photocatalysts.The rate constant of BPA degradation on Ag/Ag_(3)PO_(4)/MIL-68(In)-NH_(2)is 0.09655 min^(-1),which is better than many reported photocatalytic materials.It also achieved a maximum rate constant of 0.02074min^(-1)for Cr(VI)reduction.The boosted photocatalytic performance is due to the improved absorption caused by localized surface plasmon resonance(LSPR),effective interface charge transfer and separation,and more reactive sites provided by the large specific surface area.Besides,the photocatalytic degradation pathway of BPA is concluded according to GC-MS analysis.Finally,a more reasonable Z-scheme mechanism is speculated and verified through a series of characterizations and simulations,such as timeresolved photoluminescence spectroscopy(TRPL),electron spin resonance(ESR),and finite difference time domain(FDTD)method. | Feihu Mu Benlin Dai Wei Zhao Shijian Zhou Haibao Huang Gang Yang Dehua Xia Yan Kong Dennis Y.C Leung | 2022 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,6: | 0 |
