| 1 | Inulin Can Alleviate Metabolism Disorders in ob/ob Mice by Partially Restoring Leptinrelated Pathways Mediated by Gut Microbiota显示文摘Inulin has been used as a prebiotic to alleviate glucose and lipid metabolism disorders in mice and humans by modulating the gut microbiota. However, the mechanism underlying the alleviation of metabolic disorders by inulin through interactions between the gut microbiota and host cells is unclear. We use ob/ob mice as a model to study the effect of inulin on the cecal microbiota by16 S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing and its interaction with host cells by transcriptomics. The inulin-supplemented diet improved glucose and lipid metabolism disorder parameters in ob/ob mice,alleviating fat accumulation and glucose intolerance. The a diversity of gut microbial community of ob/ob mice was reduced after inulin treatment, while the b diversity tended to return to the level of wild type mice. Interestingly, Prevotellaceae UCG 001(family Prevotellaceae) was obviously enriched after inulin treatment. A comparative analysis of the gene expression profile showed that the cecal transcriptome was changed in leptin gene deficiency mice, whereas the inulin-supplemented diet partially reversed the changes in leptin gene-related signaling pathways, especially AMPK signaling pathway, where the levels of gene expression became comparable to those in wild type mice.Further analysis indicated that Prevotellaceae UCG 001 was positively correlated with the AMPK signaling pathway, which was negatively correlated with markers of glycolipid metabolism disorders. | 2 | A 'Yellow Cap' on Quaternary Red Clay in Jiujiang,Jiangxi Province显示文摘A thin layer of yellow-brown-colored earth was generally found on Quaternary red clay in Jiujiang,Jiangxi Province. A typical profile was established. Both particle size distribution and REE (rare earthelements) characteristics of the yellow-brown-colored earth of the profile fully suggested its aeolian origin andclose similarity to Naming Xiashu loess. The study also implied aeolian origin of the underlying Quaternaryred clap Compared with the red clay, the yellow- brown- colored earth was less weathered because of its lowercontent of free iron and higher mole ratios of SiO2/A12O3 and SiO2/(Fe2O3+A12O3 ) as well as its lessdeveloped chemical microtextures of quartz grains.In order to study the aged of the two deposits comparatively, the thermoluminescent dating method wasused. As a result, the bottom of the yellow-brown-colored esrth was dated to 6015 ka B. P. and the upperpart of the red clay 38854 ka B. P. It was suggested that the yellow- browm- colored earth was formed inthe Late Pleistocene and was probably the aeolian deposit of the Last Glacial, which corresponded with theMalan loess in the Loess Plateau of the northwestern part of China; while the underlying red clay was formedin the Middle Pleistocene.A 'yellow cap' on Quaternary red clay in Jiujiang implied a great climatic and environmental varistionin the beginning of the Late Pleistocene in the southern pot of China, especially in the middle and lowerreaches of the Yangtze River. | 5 | Experimental research into the two-proton emissions from ^(17,18) Ne,^(28) P and ^(28,29)S显示文摘Two-proton emissions from the excited states of 17,18Ne, 28P and 28,29S were investigated experimentally by the radioactive beams bombarding on the 197Au target via the Coulomb excitation. The complete-kinematics measurements were actualized by the stacks of silicon-strip detectors and CsI+PIN array detectors. The invariant mass of final systems as well as the relative momentum, opening angle, and relative energy of the two emitted protons was reconstructed under the framework of relativ istic kinematics. Visible proton-proton correlations were observed in these systems. The mechanisms of two-proton emission were analyzed in a simple schematic model, in which the extreme decay modes like He cluster emission, three-body 2 phase-space decay, and two-body sequential decay were taken into account. | 6 | Anti-aggregation dispersion of ultrafine particles by electrostatic technique显示文摘The dispersion of ultrafine particles in the air can be achieved by mechanical method or surface modification. In this work, the electrostatic technique was first employed for anti-aggregation of ultrafine particles. When the relative humidity of the air is within the region of 70%-75%, effective storage time of ultrafine particles can reach 72 h after treatment by the electrostatic technique. The experimental results showed that this technique imparted ultrafine particles much more pronounced anti-aggregation property. In the dry air, the critical diameter of ultrafine particles anti-aggregated by the electrostatic technique is the function of particle property and charging field intensity. | 10 | Dependence of void nucleation on post-irradiation annealing temperature in a-A1_2O_3显示文摘The evolution of void nucleation inα-A12O3 irradiated by En ≥ 1 MeV neutrons of 3× 1020 cm-2 and post-annealed from 100°C to 1050°C is studied by a positron annihilation lifetime technique. The void nucleation starts at 500℃. The radius of created voids is 0.31 urn and the number of voids increases with increasing annealing temperature from 550℃ to 750℃. | 11 | Thermal expansion properties and hygro-scopicity of Y_(2-x)Sm_xW_3O_(12) (x=0.0-0.4) compounds显示文摘A novel class of solid solutions of Y2-xSmxW3O12 (x = 0.0–0.4) were synthesized and studied by means of powder X-ray diffraction. All samples crystallize in an ortho- rhombic space group Pnca. The lattice parameters a, b and c of Y2-xSmxW3O12 in- crease with increasing Sm content. Since the compounds of this series hydrate at room temperature, thermogravimetric (TG) analysis was carried out. The result shows that the compound stores less water with increasing Sm content. The thermal expansion properties of Y2-xSmxW3O12 (x = 0.1, 0.3 and 0.4) were investi- gated with high temperature X-ray diffraction.
