| 2 | Ionic liquids:Functionalization and absorption of SO_2显示文摘Room-temperature ionic liquids(ILs), which have excellent properties, such as high gas absorption abilities, extremely low volatility and tunable structures, are regarded as environmentally-friendly absorbents and widely used in SO_2 absorption and separation. As a result, a large number of ILs have been synthesized to capture SO_2 from flue gas or simulated gas, but a part of them just have physical interaction with SO_2 and can hardly absorb SO_2 when the content of SO_2 is very low. Hence, functional ILs, which can chemically absorb a large amount of SO_2 with low contents, have been designed and synthesized for SO_2 capture. Up to now, many kinds of functional ILs were investigated for SO_2 absorption from flue gas. In this review, the functional ILs are classified into guanidinium based ILs, hydroxyl ammonium based ILs, imidazolium/pyridinium based ILs, quaternary ammonium based ILs, phosphonium based ILs, and other kinds of ILs according to their cations. The capacities of SO_2 absorption in these ILs, the mechanism of the absorption, and the ways to enhance the absorption are briefly introduced. The prospect of functional ILs for their application in SO_2 removal is presented. | 10 | Highly efficient separation of benzene+cyclohexane mixtures by extraction combined extractive distillation using imidazolium-based dicationic ionic liquids显示文摘Benzene(BEN)and cyclohexane(CYH),which have very close boiling points and a binary azeotrope,are the most difficult binary components in the separation of aromatic and non-aromatic hydrocarbons.This study further explored the separation mechanism and industrial application prospects of BEN+CYH mixtures separated by a dicationic ionic liquid(DIL)[C_(5)(MIM)_(2)][NTf_(2)]_(2) based on experimental research.The calculation results of the Conductor-like Screening model Segment Activity Coefficient(COSMO-SAC)model show that selectivity and solvent capacity of the DIL are significantly improved.The effects of different anions and cations on the micro-structure distribution and diffusion behavior of BEN+CYH system were investigated by quantum chemistry(QC)calculations and molecular dynamics(MD)simulations.The results indicate that the anion[NTf_(2)]_(2)has low polarity,uniform charge distribution,and a dual role of hydrogen bonding andπ-πbonding,and the cation[C_(5)(MIM)_(2)]^(2+) has stronger interaction with BEN and higher selectivity than conventional cations.The liquid-liquid extraction and extractive distillation(LLE-ED)process using an optimized 65 mol/mol DIL+35 mol/mol H_(2)O mixed solution as the extractant was proposed,which solved the problem of low product purity in the LLE process and high energy consumption in the ED process.Under the best operating conditions,the purity of CYH product was 99.9%,the purity of BEN product was 99.6%,the recovery rate of BEN reached 99.9%,and the recovery rate of DIL reached 99.9%.The heat-integrated LLE-ED process reduced total annual cost by 21.6%,and reduced CO_(2) emissions by 48.0%,which has broad industrial application prospects. | Wanxiang Zhang Wuji Zhao Shuhang Ren Yucui Hou Weize Wu | 2023 | Green Chemical Engineering2023,4,3: | 0 |
| 11 | A deep insight into the structural characteristics of Yilan oil shale kerogen through selective oxidation显示文摘The structural characteristics of oil shale are important to its application.In this work,a deep insight into the structural characteristics of Yilan oil shale kerogen(YLK)was studied using alkali-oxygen oxidation at different times and ruthenium ion catalyzed oxidation(RICO).The results indicate that YLK is gradually converted to humic acids(HAs),water-soluble acids(WSAs),carboxylic acids(CAs),CO_(2)and H_(2)O.^(13)C NMR analyses of YLK,residues and HAs indicate that C-O bonds,especially C_(ar)-O bonds of YLK,are easily cleaved.The condensed aromatic rings and long alkyl chains are difficult to be oxidized during the oxidation process.With increasing oxidation time,the molar fraction of aromatic bridgehead carbon(Xb)of YLK and the residues increases from 0.174 to 0.201,and that of HAs increases from 0.225 to 0.267.The result indicates that the aromatic structures of YLK are composed of 1-ring aromatic clusters(26.5%),2-ring aromatic clusters(67.1%)and 3 or more-ring aromatic clusters(6.4%).Also,the average methylene chain(Cn)of YLK and the residues increases from 2.0 to 5.1,and that of HAs increases from 1.3 to 2.7,indicating that the alkyl chain length is not average but has a distribution.2.5%methylene carbons exist as long n-alkyl chains in the alkyl side chains groups(SCGs)on the aromatic rings in YLK.The carbon number of SCGs ranges from 5 to 22,and C_(15)and C_(17)are predominant.3.8%methylene carbons exist as alkyl bridges linkages(BLs)connecting aromatic rings in YLK.The carbon number of BLs connecting aromatic rings ranges from 6 to 19,and C_(8)is predominant.Because of the existence of above long n-alkyl chains,93.7%methylene carbons in YLK exist as alkyl chains with an average length of 1.84. | Qian Wang Yucui Hou Weize Wu Yupeng Wang Qing Liu Shuhang Ren | 2019 | Carbon Resources Conversion2019,2,3: | 0 |
| 12 | Control of the morphology of electrodeposited three-dimensional copper foam by tuning the pressure显示文摘Three-dimensional(3D) copper foams have been formed by electrodeposition at different nitrogen pressures and examined by scanning electron microscopy.The results indicate that an increase in system pressure leads to a decrease of the pore size of the copper foam due to the suppressed coalescence of hydrogen bubbles,while the thickness of the copper foam increases with decreasing pressure.Also,the walls around the pores on the copper foam consist of copper dendrites,and the copper dendrites are made up of copper grains with sizes less than 1 μm.The average sizes of the copper grains decrease with increasing system pressure.It has been demonstrated that copper foams with controllable 3D structure formed by electrodeposition at different pressures are comparable to those obtained by electrodeposition at normal pressure in the presence of specific additives. | PANG Kun HOU YuCui WU WeiZe TIAN ShiDong SUN NanNan | 2012 | Science China Chemistry2012,55,7: | 0 |
