1A mussel-inspired supramolecular hydrogel with robust tissue anchor for rapid hemostasis of arterial and visceral bleedings显示文摘In recent years,the developed hemostatic technologies are still difficult to be applied to the hemostasis of massive arterial and visceral hemorrhage,owing to their weak hemostatic function,inferior wet tissue adhesion,and low mechanical properties.Herein,a mussel-inspired supramolecular interaction-cross-linked hydrogel with robust mechanical property(308.47±29.20 kPa)and excellent hemostatic efficiency(96.5%±2.1%)was constructed as a hemostatic sealant.Typically,we combined chitosan(CS)with silk fibroin(SF)by cross-linking them through tannic acid(TA)to maintain the structural stability of the hydrogel,especially for wet tissue adhesion ability(shear adhesive strength=29.66±0.36 kPa).Compared with other materials reported previously,the obtained CS/TA/SF hydrogel yielded a lower amount of blood loss and shorter time to hemostasis in various arterial and visceral bleeding models,which could be ascribed to the synergistic effect of wound closure under wet state as well as intrinsic hemostatic activity of CS.As a superior hemostatic sealant,the unique hydrogel proposed in this work can be exploited to offer significant advantages in the acute wound and massive hemorrhage with the restrictive access of therapeutic moieties.Ziwen Qiao Xueli Lv Shaohua He Shumeng Bai Xiaochen Liu Linxi Hou Jingjing He Dongmei Tong Renjie Ruan Jin Zhang Jianxun Ding Huanghao Yang 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,9:14
2Measurement of the fluidized velocity in gas-solid fluidized beds based on AE signal analysis by wavelet packet transform显示文摘An energy distribution theory was presented based on regular evolvement of energy fraction of acous-tic signals with fluidization velocity. Wavelet packet analysis was used in processing the acoustic sig-nals originated from particle impact on the wall of a fluidized bed. A new criterion of judging incipient fluidization(Umf) velocity and minimum turbulent velocity(Umt) was proposed according to the energy distribution theory. Experiments were performed with five groups of high density polyethylene(PE) particles and one bimodal PE to acquire incipient fluidization velocity and minimum turbulent velocity by using the criterion. 3Surface patterning and modification of polyurethane biomaterials using silsesquioxane-gelatin additives for improved endothelial affinity显示文摘Polyurethanes(PUs) are well-known for their biocompatibility but their intrinsic inert property hampers cell-matrix interactions. Surface modifications are thus necessary to widen their use for biomedical applications. In this work, surface modifications of PU were achieved first by incorporating polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane(POSS), followed by alteration of the surface topography via the breath figures method. Subsequently, surface chemistry was also modified by immobilization of gelatin molecules through grafting, for the enhancement of the surface cytocompatibility. Scanning electron microscopy(SEM) was used to verify the formation of highly ordered microstructures while static contact angle, FTIR and XPS confirmed the successful grafting of gelatin molecules onto the surfaces. In vitro culture of human umbilical vein endothelial cells(HUVECs) revealed that endothelial cell adhesion and proliferation were significantly enhanced on the gelatin-modified surfaces, as shown by live/dead staining and WST-1 proliferation assay. The results indicated that the combination of the strategies yielded an interface that improves cell attachment and subsequent growth. 4Efficient homogenous catalysis of CO_(2) to generate cyclic carbonates by heterogenous and recyclable polypyrazoles显示文摘The cycloaddition between CO_(2)and epoxides to produce cyclic carbonate is an attractive and efficiency pathway for the utilization of CO_(2)as C1 source.The development of catalyst to mediate cycloaddition between CO_(2)and epoxides at low temperature and pressure is still a challenge.Herein,a series of polypyrazoles with glass transition temperature(T_(g))in the range of 42.3-52.5℃ were synthesized and served as catalyst to mediate the cycloaddition of CO_(2)and epoxides by the assistant of tetrabutylammonium bromide.The catalytic behaviors of polypyrazole on the model cycloaddition of CO_(2)to epichlorohydrin,including the reaction parameters optimization and versatility were investigated in detail,and excellent yield(99.9%)and selectivity(99%)were obtained under the optimized reaction conditions of70℃ and 1.0 MPa for 6.0 h.Noteworthily,the polypyrazole acts as homogeneous catalyst during reaction(higher than T_(g)).And under room temperature,polypyrazoles can be easily separated and recovered,which is a promising feature of a heterogeneous catalyst.Furthermore,the reaction mechanism was proposed.The DFT calculation suggested that the formation of hydrogen bond between pyrazole and epoxide greatly reduced the energy barrier,which play an important role in promoting CO_(2)cycloaddition.Zhen Lu Jie He Bogeng Guo Yulai Zhao Jingyu Cai Longqiang Xiao Linxi Hou 2022Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2022,35,3:1

6One-step synthesis of cyclic polypyrazole and the self-assembly vesicles driven by hydrogen bond显示文摘The synthesis of cyclic polymer is an important topic in polymer chemistry. Herein, we report a one-step method to prepare cyclic polypyrazoles. Monomers with two functional groups, diazo and alkyne, were synthesized and polymerized via 1,3-diploar cycloaddition in bulk under heating without any catalyst.Polypyrazoles with molecular weights in the range of 3800-4400 g/mol and yields in the range of 78.8-98.7% were successfully synthesized. No chain end group was detected by LC-QTOF-MS and FTIR, which proves the cyclic structure of polypyrazoles. What is noteworthy is that the cyclic polypyrazoles can selfassemble into vesicles during the reprecipitation process, which was proved by the results of SEM and TEM. 7Preparation of Si-doped and cross linked carbon nanofibers via electrospinning and their supercapacitive properties显示文摘In this work, Si-doped cross linked carbon nanofibers(Si/CNF) were prepared by electrospinning polyacrylonitrile(PAN) solutions containing polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane(POSS) as Si source, followed by thermal treatments. Scanning electron microscope(SEM) observations showed the smooth surfaces of pure PAN nanofibers, while PAN/POSS nanofibers with obviously rough or porous surfaces were obtained with relatively high POSS content. X-ray diffraction(XRD) identified the presence of POSS in the composite nanofibers. After thermal treatments, cross linked Si/CNFs with various morphologies were obtained. Energy-dispersive X-ray(EDX) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS) analyses confirmed the successful incorporation of Si into CNFs. Raman spectra suggested the degree of carbon ordering of Si/CNFs reduced slightly when compared with pure CNF. The obtained nanofibers exhibited typical performances of electric double-layer capacitors(EDLC).The specific capacitance of Si/CNF showed a moderate increase with POSS content and reached a maximum of175 F/g at 1 A/g with PAN:POSS equal to 100:5. Meanwhile Si/CNFs exhibited excellent cycling stability after1000 cycles.
