| 1 | 2018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents显示文摘Syncope belongs to the transient loss of consciousness(TLOC), characterized by a rapid onset, short duration, and spontaneous complete recovery. It is common in children and adolescents, accounting for 1% to 2% of emergency department visits.Recurrent syncope can seriously affect children's physical and mental health, learning ability and quality of life and sometimes cardiac syncope even poses a risk of sudden death. The present guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was developed for guiding a better clinical management of pediatric syncope. Based on the globally recent development and the evidence-based data in China, 2018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was jointly prepared by the Pediatric Cardiology Society, Chinese Pediatric Society, Chinese Medical Association(CMA)/Committee on Pediatric Syncope, Pediatricians Branch, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Committee on Pediatric Cardiology, Chinese College of Cardiovascular Physicians, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Pediatric Cardiology Society, Beijing Pediatric Society, Beijing Medical Association(BMA). | 2 | The Origin and Tectonic Significance of the Volcanic Rocks of the Yeba Formation in the Gangdese Magmatic Belt, South Tibet显示文摘Zircon U-Pb geochronology, Hf isotope and whole-rock geochemistry were performed on the tuffs of the Yeba Formation in the Gangdese magmatic belt, South Tibet. The results are used to detail the age, source nature and tectonic processes that led to the formation of the Gangdese belt. Dating results indicate that the rhyolitic-andesitic tuffs were formed at 174–170 Ma. Positive and variable zircon ε_(Hf)(t) values of the rhyolitic tuffs reveal that the source was dominated by juvenile material, however, experienced crustal contamination. The basaltic tuffs have low HREEs, high contents of compatible elements(V and Cr) and no Eu anomaly. In contrast, the rhyolitic-andesitic tuffs show low compatible trace elements, depletion in Eu but enrichment in incompatible elements(Rb, Zr and Hf). According to the discrimination diagrams of P_2O_5-SiO_2 and Th-Rb, the rhyolitic-andesitic tuffs show a close affinity to Ⅰ-type granitoids. Moreover, these tuffs are marked by significant depletion in Nb, Ta and Ti, plotted in calc-alkaline field, and with the andesitic-rhyolitic tuffs falling into an active continental margin setting. | 3 | Magnetic properties of high-road-side pine tree leaves in Beijing and their environ-mental significance显示文摘This is a report on magnetic properties of highroad-side tree (Pinus pumila Regel) leaves collected along an expressway linking Beijing City and the Capital International Airport and further focus on their environmental contributions. A series of rock magnetic experiments show that the primary mag-netic mineral of leaf samples was identified to be magnetite,in the pseudo-single domain (PSD) grain size range 0.2―5.0 μm. On the other hand,magnet-ite concentration and grain size in leaves are ascer-tained to decrease with increasing of sampling dis-tance to highroad asphalt surface,suggesting that high magnetic response to traffic pollution is localized within a distance of some two meters away from highroad asphalt surface. Although magnetic suscep-tibility is ordinarily regarded as a simple,rapid and low-cost method for monitoring traffic pollution,saturation isothermal remanent magnetization (SIRM) can be treated as a valid proxy for monitoring air par-ticulate matter (PM) when samples are magnetically weak. | 4 | Geochronologic and petrochemical evidence for the genetic link between the Maomaogou nepheline syenites and the Emeishan large igneous province显示文摘The Maomaogou nepheline syenite is located at the inner zone of the Emeishan large igneous province and exhibits intrusive contact with the Emeishan basalts. SHRIMP U-Pb dating on zircons from this syenite yields an age of 261.6±4.4 Ma, in agreement with the age of the Panzhihua layered intrusion and the eruption age of the Emeishan basalts as constrained by stratigraphic data. Geochemical data fur-ther suggest that the Maomaogou syenite has a source analogue to the Emeishan basalt, and may have been formed by partial melting of gabbroic cumulates underplated in the lower crust. | 5 | Activation of northern margin of the North China Craton in Late Paleozoic:Evidence from U-Pb dating and Hf isotopes of detrital zircons from the Upper Carboniferous Taiyuan Formation in the Ningwu-Jingle basin显示文摘LA-MC-ICPMS U-Pb dating has been performed on detrital zircons from the Upper Carboniferous Tai-yuan Formation (N-8) in the Ningwu-Jingle Basin, west of the North China Craton (NCC). The ages of 72 detrital zircon grains are divided into three groups: 303―320 Ma (6 grains), 1631―2194 Ma (37 grains, peaked at 1850 Ma), 2318―2646 Ma (29 grains, peaked at 2500 Ma). Detrital zircons of Group 2 and Group 3 were likely derived from the basement of the NCC. Group 1 zircons exhibit 176Hf/177Hf ratios ranging from 0.281725 to 0.282239, with corresponding negative εHf(t) values of -12.4―-30.3 and old Hf model ages of 1.4―2.2 Ga. These characteristics show a strong resemblance to those of Carboniferous igneous zircons from the Inner Mongolia Paleo-uplift (IMPU) on the northern margin of the NCC, but differ significantly from those of the Xing-Meng Orogenic Belt, suggesting that the source of the Tai-yuan Formation partly came from the IMPU. All detrital zircons of Group 1 have relatively high Th/U ratios (> 0.67), indicating a magmatic origin. The mean age (304 ± 6 Ma) of the two youngest grains is close to the depositional age of the Taiyuan Formation, suggesting a strong tectonic uplift and magmatism in the IMPU during the Late Carboniferous. | 6 | Zircon U–Pb and Hf isotopic study of Neoproterozoic granitic gneisses from the Alatage area, Xinjiang:constraints on the Precambrian crustal evolution in the Central Tianshan Block显示文摘The architecture and growth history of Precambrian crustal basements in the Central Tianshan Block play a key role in understanding the tectonic evolution of the Chinese Tianshan Orogenic Belt.In this study,we present precise LA-ICP-MS zircon U–Pb dating and LAMC-ICPMS zircon Hf isotopic data for two granitic gneisses from Alatage area in the Central Tianshan Block.The magmatic zircons from both samples yield similar protolith ages of 945±6 and 942±6 Ma,indicating that the early Neoproterozoic magmatism is prevailed in the Alatage area.These zircons have crustal Hf model ages of1.82–2.22 and 1.70–2.03 Ga,respectively,which are significantly older than their crystallization ages.It indicates that their parental magmas were derived from the reworking of ancient crust.However,we suggest that these Paleoproterozoic Hf model ages might result from mixing of continental materials with different ages in the Neoproterozoic crust.The inherited(detrital)zircon cores not only yield a wide age range of ca.989–1617 Ma,but also exhibit large Hf-isotope variations with Hf model ages of1.54–2.30 Ga.In particular,some 1.4–1.6 Ga zircons show high initial176Hf/177Hf ratios,consistent with those of depleted mantle,which indicates that the Mesoproterozoic event involved both reworking of older crust and generation of juvenile crust.The Central Tianshan Block has different Precambrian crustal growth history from the Tarim Craton.Therefore,it would not be a fragment of the Precambrian basement of the Tarim Craton. | Botao Huang Zhenyu He Keqing Zong Zeming Zhang | 2014 | Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,1: | 12 |
| 7 | Effects of dietary yeast nucleotides on growth, non-specific immunity intestine growth and intestinal microbiota of juvenile hybrid tilapia Oreochromis niloticus ♀ × Oreochromis aureus ♂显示文摘This study investigated the effect of dietary supplementation of yeast nucleotides on the growth, nonspecific immunity, intestine growth and intestinal microbiota of juvenile hybrid tilapia. Tilapia(initial average weight of 8.02 g) was fed test diets supplemented with a yeast-originated nucleotide mixture(0,0.15, 0.30, 0.60, and 1.20 g/100 g diet) for 8 weeks. Fish fed the diet with 0.60% nucleotide had significantly higher weight gain than the control group(P < 0.05). Feed efficiency was improved in the fish fed 0.60 and 1.20% nucleotide compared with that in the control group. The optimal doses of nucleotides supplementation for growth and feed efficiency of fish were determined as 0.63 and 0.81%, respectively.Intestinal growth was improved in the 0.30 and 0.60% groups, as indicated by significant increase in intestine length. The fish fed 0.60 and 1.20% nucleotide showed higher super oxide dismutase(SOD)activity and lower malondialdehyde(MDA) level in the liver than the control fish, indicating enhancement of the anti-oxidant status. Serum lysozyme activity was significantly increased in the 0.15 and 0.3%nucleotide supplementation groups, suggesting an enhancement effect on the non-specific immune response. Lastly, dietary nucleotides supplementation exerted moderate influence on the intestinal microbiota of hybrid tilapia. A reduction in the cumulative abundance of putative butyrate-producing species was observed in the intestinal microbiota of fish fed diets with 0.60% nucleotide compared with the control, implying an interaction between dietary nucleotides and butyrate production. | 11 | Local concentration of middle and heavy rare earth elements in the col on the weathered crust elution-deposited rare earth ores显示文摘This present study focused on investigating the content and relative enrichment multiple of rare earth elements(REEs) in different terrain of weathered ore body, and the value of light rare earth elements/middle and heavy rare earth elements(LREEs/HREEs), in order to understand the mobilization and redistribution of HREEs, Furthermore, the abrasion pH was investigated as well, The results show that the average contents of HREEs in the knap, ridge and col are 37.26, 61.71, and 271.3 μg/g, respectively. The value of LREEs/HREEs is decreased from 16.78 to 7.914 between knap and col and the relative enrichment multiple of HREEs is as follows: C_(Col-HREEs) > C_(Ridge-HREEs) > 0. It is indicated the HREEs is concentrated in the col and the enrichment degree of HREEs is stronger than the ridge and the knap. Rare earth elements fractionation is exhibited in the different terrain of weathered ore body. | 12 | Geochemical characteristics and geological significance of the Neoproterozoic carbonates from northern Anhui Province, China显示文摘Petrographical and geochemical studies were carried out of the Neoproterozoic carbonates from northern Anhui Province, China. These carbonates can be subdivided into two types, including purified limestone (PL) and mixed limestone and siliclastic rocks (MLS). PLs are low in Si, Al, Zr and total REE but high in CaO compared with MLSs. Correlations between Zr, Fe2O3, P2O5 and total REE are also less remarkable, indicating that they were not obviously contaminated by continental materials but directly precipitated from seawater. So they can be used for the inversion of paleo-seawater REE patterns. The inversed results indicated that the REE pattern of Neoproterozoic seawater was similar to that of the modern seawater except for the lack of Ce depletion, which was probably affected by the reduced hydrothermal solution. In combination with previous studies, the geochemical trending of these carbonatic samples towards the continental arc in the La- Th-Sc and Th-Sc-Zr/10 diagrams is interpreted as the contamination of arc volcanism. | 13 | Xa7, a new executor R gene that confers durable and broad-spectrum resistance to bacterial blight disease in rice显示文摘Bacterial blight(BB)is a globally devastating rice disease caused by Xanthomonas oryzae pv.oryzae(Xoo).The use of disease resistance(R)genes in rice breeding is an effective and economical strategy for the control of this disease.Nevertheless,a majority of R genes lack durable resistance for long-term use under global warming conditions.Here,we report the isolation of a novel executor R gene,Xa7,that confers extremely durable,broad-spectrum,and heat-tolerant resistance to Xoo.The expression of Xa7 was induced by incompatible Xoo strains that secreted the transcription activator-like effector(TALE)AvrXa7 or PthXo3,which recognized effector binding elements(EBEs)in the Xa7 promoter.Furthermore,Xa7 induction was faster and stronger under high temperatures.Overexpression of Xa7 or co-transformation of Xa7 with avrXa7 triggered a hypersensitive response in plants.Constitutive expression of Xa7 activated a defense response in the absence of Xoo but inhibited the growth of transgenic rice plants.In addition,analysis of over 3000 rice varieties showed that the Xa7 locuswas found primarily in the indica and aus subgroups.A variation consisting of an 11-bp insertion and a base substitution(G to T)was found in EBEAvrXa7 in the tested varieties,resulting in a loss of Xa7 BB resistance.Through a decade of effort,we have identified an important BB resistance gene and characterized its distinctive interaction with Xoo strains;these findings will greatly facilitate research on the molecular mechanism of Xa7-mediated resistance and promote the use of this valuable gene in breeding. | Xifeng Chen Pengcheng Liu Le Mei Xiaoling He Long Chen Hui Liu Shurong Shen Zhandong Ji Xixi Zheng Yuchen Zhang Zhenyu Gao Dali Zeng Qian Qian Bojun Ma | 2021 | Plant Communications2021,2,3: | 9 |
| 14 | Microvesicles(MIVs)secreted from adipose-derived stem cells(ADSCs)contain multiple microRNAs and promote the migration and invasion of endothelial cells显示文摘Extracellular vesicles(EVs)such as microvesicles(MIVs)play an important role in intercellular communications.MIVs are small membrane vesicles sized 100e1000 nm in diameter that are released by many types of cells,such as mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs),tumor cells and adipose-derived stem cells(ADSC).As EVs can carry out autocrine and paracrine functions by controlling multiple cell processes,it is conceivable that EVs can be used as delivery vehicles for treating several clinical conditions,such as to improve cardiac angiogenesis after myocardial infarction(MI).Here,we seek to investigate whether ADSC-derived MIVs contain microRNAs that regulate angiogenesis and affect cell migration of endothelial cells.We first characterized the ADSC-derived MIVs and found that the MIVs had a size range of 100 e300 nm,and expressed the MIV marker protein Alix.We then analyzed the microRNAs in ADSCs and ADSC-derived MIVs and demonstrated that ADSC-derived MIVs selectively released a panel of microRNAs,several of which were related to angiogenesis,including two members of the let-7 family.Furthermore,we demonstrated that ADSC-derived MIVs promoted the cell migration and invasion of the HUVEC endothelial cells.The PKH26-labeled ADSC-derived MIVs were effectively uptaken into the cytoplasm of HUVEC cells.Collectively,our results demonstrate that the ADSC-derived MIVs can promote migration and invasion abilities of endothelial cells,suggesting pro-angiogenetic potential.Future studies should focus on investigating the roles and mechanisms through which ADSC-derived MIVs regulate angiogenesis. | Bo Huang Lin-Feng Huang Ling Zhao Zongyue Zeng Xi Wang Daigui Cao Lijuan Yang Zhenyu Ye Xian Chen Bin Liu Tong-Chuan He Xiaozhong Wang | 2020 | Genes & Diseases2020,7,2: | 8 |

| 17 | Age and generation of Fogang granite batholith and Wushi diorite-hornblende gabbro body显示文摘Fogang granitic batholith, the largest Late Mesozoic batholith in the Nanling region, has an exposure area of ca. 6000 km2. Wushi diorite-hornblende gabbro body is situated at the northeast part of the ba- tholith. Both the granitic batholith main body and the diorite-hornblende gabbro body belong to high-K calc alkaline series. Compared with the granitic main body, the Wushi body has lower Si (49%―55%), higher Fe, Mg, Ca, lower REE, less depletion of Eu, Ba, P, Ti, and obvious depletion of Zr, Hf. Zircon LA-ICP-MS dating and the mineral-whole rock isochron dating reveal that Fogang granitic main body and Wushi body were generated simultaneously at ca. 160 Ma. The Fogang granitic main body has high (87Sr/86Sr)i ratios (0.70871―0.71570) and low εNd(t) values (?5.11―?8.93), suggesting the origins of the granitic rocks from crustal materials. Their Nd two-stage model ages range from 1.37―1.68 Ga. The Sr and Nd isotopic compositions and the Nd model ages of the granitic rocks may suggest that the giant Fogang granitic main body was generated from a heterogeneous source, with participation of mantle component. | 20 | OsMKKK70 regulates grain size and leaf angle in rice through the OsMKK4-OsMAPK6-OsWRKY53 signaling pathway显示文摘Grain size and leaf angle are key agronomic traits that determine final yields in rice.However,the underlying molecular mechanisms are not well understood.Here we demonstrate that the Oryza sativa Mitogen Activated Protein Kinase Kinase Kinase OsMKKK70 regulates grain size and leaf angle in rice.Overexpressing OsMKKK70 caused plants to produce longer seeds.The osmkkk62/70 double mutant and the osmkkk55/62/70 triple mutant displayed significantly smaller seeds and a more erect leaf angle compared to the wild type,indicating that OsMKKK70 functions redundantly with its homologs Os MKKK62 and Os MKKK55.Biochemical analysis demonstrated that OsMKKK70 is an active kinase and that OsMKKK70 interacts with Os MKK4 and promotes Os MAPK6 phosphorylation.In addition,the osmkkk62/70 double mutant showed reduced sensitivity to Brassinosteroids(BRs).Finally,overexpressing constitutively active Os MKK4,Os MAPK6,and Os WRKY53 can partially complement the smaller seed size,erect leaf,and BR hyposensitivity of the osmkkk62/70 double mutant.Taken together,these findings suggest that OsMKKK70 might regulate grain size and leaf angle in rice by activating Os MAPK6 and that OsMKKK70,Os MKK4,Os MAPK6,and Os WRKY53 function in a common signaling pathway that controls grain shape and leaf angle. | Zhiqi Liu Enyang Mei Xiaojie Tian Mingliang He Jiaqi Tang Min Xu Jiali Liu Lu Song Xiufeng Li Zhenyu Wang Qingjie Guan Qijiang Xu Qingyun Bu | 2021 | Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2021,63,12: | 6 |
