| 1 | Laboratory Evaluation for Utilization of Phosphogypsum through Carbide Slag Highly-Effective Activating Anhydrous Phosphogypsum显示文摘Carbide slag was used as an activator to improve the activity of anhydrous phosphogypsum.Carbide slag could greatly improve the mechanical strength of anhydrous phosphogypsum than K_(2)SO_(4).The compressive strength of 11 wt%carbide slag and 1 wt%K_(2)SO_(4)activated anhydrous phosphogypsum increased greatly to 8.6 MPa at 3 d,and 11.9 MPa at 7 d,and 16.0 MPa at 28 d,respectively.The rate of hydration heat was accelerated and the total hydration heat was increased,and more calcium sulfate dihydrate was formed and cross-linked with other parts which improved the compressive strength of anhydrous phosphogypsum under the effects of different activators.It was indicated that carbide slag was a highly effective and cost-efficient activator.The result provides a highly effective and low-cost method which results in a novel and high value-added method for the utilization of phosphogypsum in the future. | 陈顺 XIONG Guoqing 苏英 HE Xingyang XIE Yunxuan WANG Yunfeng GONG Minhua | 2021 | Journal of Wuhan University of Technology(Materials Science)2021,36,3: | 4 |
| 2 | Use of Different Barium Salts to Inhibit the Thaumasite Form of Sulfate Attack in Cement-based Materials显示文摘We investigated the effects of different barium compounds on the thaumasite form of sulphate attack(TSA)resistance of cement-based materials when they were used as admixtures in mortars.Moreover,we analyzed the inhibition mechanisms within different types of barium salts,namely BaCO_3 and Ba(OH)_2,on the thaumasite formation.The controlcement mortar and mortars with barium salts to cement and limestone weight ratios of 0.5%,1.0%,and 1.5% were immersed in 5%(by weight)MgSO_4 solution at 5 ℃ to mimic TSA.Appearance,mass,and compressive strength of the mortar samples were monitored and measured to assess the generaldegradation extent of these samples.The products of sulphate attack were further analyzed by XRD,FTIR,and SEM,respectively.Experimentalresults show that different degradation extent is evident in allmortars cured in MgSO_4 solution.However,barium salts can greatly inhibit such degradation.Barium in hydroxide form has better effectiveness in protection against TSA than carbonate form,which may be due to their solubility difference in alkaline cement pore solution,and the presence of these barium compounds can reduce the degree of TSA by comparison with the almost completely decomposed controlsamples. | 苏英 WEI Xiaochao 黄健 WANG Yingbin HE Xingyang WANG Xiongjue MA Baoguo | 2016 | Journal of Wuhan University of Technology(Materials Science)2016,31,2: | 3 |
| 3 | Effect of Steel Slag and Granulated Blast-furnace Slag on the Mechanical Strength and Pore Structure of Cement Composites显示文摘Reuse of solid industrial wastes is an effective approach to develop low-carbon construction materials. This paper examines how two materials, steel slag(ST) and granulated blast-furnace slag(SL) impact the mechanical performance and pore structure of cement-based systems. Analysis was done on the variations of the porosity, pore size, and pore volume distribution with the curing age and replacement content, and the fractal dimensions of pore surfaces. The results suggested that systems with both supplementary materials had lower early strengths than pure cement, but could generally surpass pure cement paste after 90 d; higher SL content was particularly helpful for boosting the late strengths. The addition of ST increased the porosities and mean pore sizes at each age, and both increased with ST content; SL was helpful for decreasing the system's late porosity(especially harmless pores below 20 nm); The lowest porosity and mean pore size were obtained with 20% SL. Both systems had notably fractal characteristics on pore surfaces, with ST systems showing the highest dimensions at 10% ST, and SL systems at 20% SL. | 4 | Experimental Synthesis of Polyacrylic-Type Superabsorbent Polymer and Analysis of Its Internal Curing Performances显示文摘A solution polymerization method has been used to synthesize a polyacrylic-type superabsorbent polymer(SAP).The influence of various influential factors,such as the temperature,neutralization degree,cross-linking agent,and initiator,on the water absorption capacity of SAP has been investigated.The results show that the absorption can display a non-monotonic behavior depending on the synthesis conditions.The absorption can also change according to the pH,ion types and ion concentration.As the pH value increases,the water absorption capacity decreases significantly.It also decreases if the N^(a+)concentration becomes higher and becomes particularly low in solutions containing Mg^(2+).With the addition of SAP,the compressive strength of cement mortar decreases;the internal relative humidity can be maintained at 96%within 200 hours;and autogenous shrinkage can be reduced by nearly 69%. | Jin Yang Wen Liang Xingyang He Ying Su Fulong Wang Tie Wang Jianxiang Huang | 2022 | Fluid Dynamics & Materials Processing2022,18,1: | 0 |

| 7 | Influence of Annealing on the Structure of Silica Glass显示文摘Two types of high-purity synthetic silica glasses were annealed with different processes in precision annealing furnace.The thermal stress and structure of samples were analyzed by two types of stress instruments and Fourier transform infrared spectrometer.After being annealed at 1 070 ℃ for 6 days and then cooled slowly,optical path difference(OPD) caused by stress in the center and edge of Type Ⅲ silica glass with a diameter of 150 mm and thickness of 50 mm decreased from 6 to 2 nm/cm.Meanwhile,with the same annealing process,fictive temperature of small-size Type Ⅲ glass decreased to 939 ℃,and structural stability of silica glass was improved.In addition,after being annealed at 1 100 ℃ for 5 hours and then cooled slowly,internal stress in Type Ⅳ silica glass with a thickness of 1 mm was basically eliminated,and its fictive temperature decreased from 1 421 to 966 ℃. | 苏英 YIN Hong HE Xingyang 周永恒 | 2013 | Journal of Wuhan University of Technology(Materials Science)2013,28,5: | 0 |
