| 2 | ^(40)Ar/^(39)Ar chronology and geochemistry of high-K volcanic rocks in the Mangkang basin, Tibet显示文摘Our two newly obtained high-quality 40Ar/39Ar ages suggest that the high-K volcanic rocks of the Lawuxiang Formation in the Mangkang basin, Tibet were formed at 33.5 ( 0.2 Ma. The tracing of elemental and Pb-Sr-Nd isotopic geochemistry indicates that they were derived from an EM2 enriched mantle in continental subduction caused by transpression. Their evidently negative anomalies in HFSEs such as Nb and Ta make clear that there is an input of continental material into the mantle source. The high-K rocks at 33.5 ( 0.2 Ma in the Mangkang basin may temporally, spatially and compositionally compare with the early one of two-pulse high-K rocks in eastern Tibet distinguished by Wang J. H. | 3 | SP1 governs primordial folliculogenesis by regulating pregranulosa cell development in mice显示文摘Establishment of the primordial follicle(PF)pool is pivotal for the female reproductive lifespan;however,the mechanism of primordial folliculogenesis is poorly understood.Here,the transcription factor SP1 was shown to be essential for PF formation in mice.Our results showed that SP1 is present in both oocytes and somatic cells during PF formation in the ovary.Knockdown of Sp1 expression,especially in pregranulosa cells,significantly suppressed nest breakdown,oocyte apoptosis,and PF formation,suggesting that SP1 expressed by somatic cells functions in the process of primordial folliculogenesis.We further demonstrated that SP1 governs the recruitment and maintenance of Forkhead box L2-positive(FOXL2^+)pregranulosa cells using an Lgr5-EGFP-IRES-CreER^T2(Lgr5-KI)reporter mouse model and a FOXL2^+ cell-specific knockdown model.At the molecular level,SP1 functioned mainly through manipulation of NOTCH2 expression by binding directly to the promoter of the Notch2 gene.Finally,consistent with the critical role of granulosa cells in follicle survival in vitro,massive loss of oocytes in SP1 knockdown ovaries was evidenced before puberty after the ovaries were tranSP1anted under the renal capsules.Conclusively,our results reveal that SP1 controls the establishment of the ovarian reserve by regulating pregranulosa cell development in the mammalian ovary. | Han Cai Bingying Liu Huarong Wang Guanghong Sun Lizhao Feng Ziqi Chen Jiaqi Zhou Jiawei Zhang Tuo Zhang Meina He Tingting Yang Qirui Guo Zhen Teng Qiliang Xin Bo Zhou Hua Zhang Guoliang Xia Chao Wang | 2020 | Journal of Molecular Cell Biology2020,12,3: | 3 |

| 9 | A novel therapeutic vaccine based on graphene oxide nanocomposite for tumor immunotherapy显示文摘With an intensive understanding of the mechanism of immune system,developing a therapeutic tumor vaccine is one of the most perspective strategy of cancer immunotherapy.In this study,we report a facile approach to prepare graphene oxide(GO)-based therapeutic cancer-nanovaccine.The model antigen(ovalbumin,OVA)and adjuvant(CpG ODN),are conjugated with GO-PEI nanosheet through electrostatic interaction.The addition of PEG can improve biocompatibility and prevent nanoparticle aggregation.The prepared GO-based nanovaccine,GO-PEI-OVA-PEG-CpG,exhibits good biocompatibility and low toxicity both in vivo and in vitro.More importantly,it can efficiently induce the maturation of dendritic cells(DCs),the enhancement of antigen cross-presentation ability,and the amplification of cytokine production of immune cells.Impressively,this nanovaccine shows a remarkable therapeutic effect against preestablished B16-OVA-melanoma tumors,which can significantly inhibit tumor growth and prolong the survival time of the OVA-expressed tumor-bearing mice.Moreover,combining GO-PEI-OVA-PEG-CpG with NLG919,an IDO-1(indoleamine-2,3-dioxygenase)inhibitor which can regulate the tumor microenvironment,displays a synergistic therapeutic effect.These findings indicate the GO-PEI-OVA-PEG-CpG nanovaccine actively induces an antigen-specific antitumor immune response and it combined with NLG919 could achieve better therapeutic outcomes. | Liming Zhang Lingfeng Xu Yi Wang Jieyu Liu Guanghong Tan Fengying Huang Nongyue He Zhuoxuan Lu | 2022 | Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,8: | 1 |

| 11 | Substrate Effects on the High-Temperature Oxidation Behavior of Thermal Barrier Coatings显示文摘The high-temperature oxidation behaviors of the NiCrAlYSi/P-YSZ thermal barrier coatings (TBCs) produced by electron beam-physical vapor deposition (EB-PVD) on directionally solidified (DS) and single crystalline (SC) Ni-based superalloy substrates were investigated. The cross-sectional microstructure investigation, isothermal and cyclic oxidation tests were conducted for the comparison of oxidation behaviors of TBCs on different substrates. Although TBC on DS substrate has a relatively higher oxidation rate, it has a longer thermal cycling lifetime than that on SC substrate. The primary factor for TBC spallation is the mismatch of thermal expansion coefficient (TEC) of the bond coat and substrate. The morphological feature of thermally grown oxide (TGO) has a strong influence on the TBC performance. | 16 | A novel and effective hyperthermia method for Schistosomiasis japonica prevention and treatment显示文摘The emerging resistance to schistosoma has been paid much attention and is in urgent need for a novel strategy to control the prevalent parasitic zoonosis. In this study, the efficiency of hyperthermia therapy was investigated by the skin hyperthermia device. The survival rate of cercariae decreased from 68.15 %(37 °C, 5 min) to 0(49 °C, 10 min) with the thermal dosages increased, which proved the preventing effect of hyperthermia therapy(P \ 0.05). Therapeutic effects were assessed in Schistosoma japonicum-infected BALB/c mice. When the cercarial contact region of the skin was treated at 45–49 °C for5 min within 8 h of infection, worm reduction rate(WRR)reached 74 %–83 %(P \ 0.01). The sensitivity of adultschistosoma to heat was also investigated using microwave intraperitoneal hyperthermia(thermal dosages 42–43 °C,20 min). The WRR, hepatic shift rates and egg reduction rates were 23.7 %, 40 % and 30 %, respectively, comparing with 80.2 %, 59.6 % and 53.9 % of praziquantel(PZQ)-treated group. Encouraging results have been obtained that hyperthermia can effectively kill schistosomula, especially with the appearance of cercarial dermatitis, while PZQ lacks efficacy against the cercariae.
