| 1 | Impacts of nitrogen and zeolite managements on yield and physicochemical properties of rice grain显示文摘Zeolite(Z)can hold soil water and nutrient to obtain a higher yield on introduction into moist soil.However,the effects of Z and nitrogen(N)managements on rice grain quality is unclear.Therefore,the effects of different amounts of Z(Z0:0 t/hm^(2);Z0.9 and Z0.22:10 t/hm^(2)in different particle sizes of 0.45-0.9 mm and 0.17-0.22 mm in diameter)and N(N0,N52.5,N105,N157.5:0 kg/hm^(2),52.5 kg/hm^(2),105 kg/hm^(2),157.5 kg/hm^(2)),and Z(Z0,Z10:0 t/hm^(2),10 t/hm^(2))and application frequencies of N on rice yield and grain quality were investigated in 2014 and 2015 in Northeast coastal region of China where Z10 was extended to use in large areas.Results showed that both N and Z applications significantly increased the yields of rough rice(RRY),brown rice,milled rice and head rice.However,there was no significant difference between Z0.9 and Z0.22.The chalkiness area,length-width ratio and head rice rate were not influenced by Z and N applications.However,Z application significantly decreased the chalk rate and slightly increased amylose content(AC)but mattered little to taste value(TV)of rice and rice cooking quality.N could significantly increase rice protein content(PC)but lessen the TV and breakdown value;the order of influence degree on rice yield increasing was as follows:CRF2(third-split fertilization with Z10),CRF1(basal fertilization one time with Z10),U2(urea:third-split fertilization without Z)and U1(basal fertilization one time without Z).Both CRF1 and CRF2 greatly enhanced the RRY.However,CRF1 was recommended for clear decrease in labor and fuel for growers.Compared with treatments of U1 and CRF1,CRF2 and U2 significantly decreased the AC.PC exhibited significant negative relation to TV and greatly determined the rice eating quality and cooking quality. | Wu Qi Xia Guimin Chen Taotao Chi Daocai Jin Ye Sun Dehuan | 2016 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2016,9,5: | 10 |

| 4 | Influence of NO2^- on the Microscopic Structure and Physical Properties of the Binary Nitrate Salts: a Molecular Dynamics Simulation Study显示文摘Molecular dynamics simulation method was used to study the influence of NO2^- on both the structure and properties of the binary nitrate salts(60 wt.% NaNO3 + 40 wt.% KNO3). The density and viscosity of the mixtures were experimentally measured and the simulation results met well with the experimental ones. The simulation results showed that, with the addition of NO2^-, the ionic clusters tended to loose and the mobilities of all the ions tended to increase. The density, viscosity, and heat capacity decreased while the thermal conductivity increased with the increase of NO2^- concentration. | 11 | Brassinosteroids regulate outer ovule integument growth in part via the control of INNER NO OUTER by BRASSINOZOLE‐RESISTANT family transcription factors显示文摘Brassinosteroids(BRs)play important roles in regulating plant reproductive processes.BR signaling or BR biosynthesis null mutants do not produce seeds under natural conditions,but the molecular mechanism underlying this infertility is poorly understood.In this study,we report that outer integument growth and embryo sac development were impaired in the ovules of the Arabidopsis thaliana BR receptor null mutant bri1-116.Gene expression and RNA-seq analyses showed that the expression of INNER NO OUTER(INO),an essential regulator of outer integument growth,was significantly reduced in the bri1-116 mutant.Increased INO expression due to overexpression or increased transcriptional activity of BRASSINAZOLE-RESISTANT 1(BZR1)in the mutant alleviated the outer integument growth defect in bri1-116 ovules,suggesting that BRs regulate outer integument growth partially via BZR1-mediated transcriptional regulation of INO.Meanwhile,INO expression in bzr-h,a null mutant for all BZR1 family genes,was barely detectable;and the outer integument of bzr-h ovules had much more severe growth defects than those of the bri1-116 mutant.Together,our findings establish a new role for BRs in regulating ovule development and suggest that BZR1 family transcription factors might regulate outer integument growth through both BRI1-dependent and BRI1-independent pathways. | Dandan Jia Lian-Ge Chen Guimin Yin Xiaorui Yang Zhihua Gao Yi Guo Yu Sun Wenqiang Tang | 2020 | Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2020,62,8: | 1 |

| 19 | Deep learning to estimate ocean subsurface salinity structure in the Indian Ocean using satellite observations显示文摘Accurately estimating the ocean subsurface salinity structure(OSSS)is crucial for understanding ocean dynamics and predicting climate variations.We present a convolutional neural network(CNN)model to estimate the OSSS in the Indian Ocean using satellite data and Argo observations.We evaluated the performance of the CNN model in terms of its vertical and spatial distribution,as well as seasonal variation of OSSS estimation.Results demonstrate that the CNN model accurately estimates the most significant salinity features in the Indian Ocean using sea surface data with no significant differences from Argo-derived OSSS.However,the estimation accuracy of the CNN model varies with depth,with the most challenging depth being approximately 70 m,corresponding to the halocline layer.Validations of the CNN model’s accuracy in estimating OSSS in the Indian Ocean are also conducted by comparing Argo observations and CNN model estimations along two selected sections and four selected boxes.The results show that the CNN model effectively captures the seasonal variability of salinity,demonstrating its high performance in salinity estimation using sea surface data.Our analysis reveals that sea surface salinity has the strongest correlation with OSSS in shallow layers,while sea surface height anomaly plays a more significant role in deeper layers.These preliminary results provide valuable insights into the feasibility of estimating OSSS using satellite observations and have implications for studying upper ocean dynamics using machine learning techniques. | Jifeng QI Guimin SUN Bowen XIE Delei LI Baoshu YIN | 2024 | Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2024,42,2: | 0 |
