1Electrochemical lithium ions pump for lithium recovery from brine by using a surface stability Al_(2)O_(3)–ZrO_(2 )coated LiMn_(2)O_(4) electrode显示文摘The rapid commercialization of lithium–ion batteries has caused significant expansion of the lithium demand.Electrochemical lithium ions pump is a promising technology because of its good selectivity and friendly environment.Herein,an Al_(2)O_(3)–ZrO_(2) film coating of the LiMn_(2)O_(4)(AlZr–LMO) electrode is prepared and operated for recovery of Li^(+)from brine.The Li^(+) maximum extraction capacity of AlZr–LMO reached 49.92 mg/g in one cycle.Compared with the solely LMO electrode,the AlZr–LMO demonstrated evident electrochemical stability and cycle life towards the Li^(+)recovery system.After 30 successive cycles,the extraction capacity for Li^(+)increased from 29.21%to 57.67%.The high cycle capacity of the material could be attributed to its low polarization,high active sites,and good chemical stability of the electrode surface owing to the synergy function of Al_(2)O_(3)–ZrO_(2)in the charging-discharging process.A dynamic model parameter identification method was performed to evaluate the active site of AlZr–LMO.This work may provide a way to design the AlZr–LMO electrode and develop a good method for the recovery of lithium from brine.Guiling Luo Lin Zhu Xiaowei Li Guolang Zhou Jing Sun Linlin Chen Yanhong Chao Lei Jiang Wenshuai Zhu 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,6:2
2Removal Behaviors of Different SiC Ceramics during Polishing显示文摘Comparative experiments were conducted to reveal the removal behaviors of three kinds of silicon carbide (SiC) ceramics during polishing and the effects of ceramic microstructure on the surface quality were also reported. Experimental results show that the second phase in SiC ceramics plays an important role in the surface quality when its size is large enough. The surface quality is enslaved to the formation of steps at interfaces between second phase and SiC matrix that results from different elastic modulus and hardness between two phases. Under 3 μm abrasive grains polishing condition, different SiC ceramics show different removal mechanisms. 6Stable and dendrite-free Zn anode with artificial desolvation interface layer toward high-performance Zn-ion capacitor显示文摘Aqueous Zn-based energy storage devices possess tremendous advantages, such as low cost, high safety,and competitive energy density, due to employing a Zn metal anode and aqueous electrolyte. However,the cycling stability and rate ability of a Zn anode are hindered by Zn dendrite growth and sluggish ion transfer in the electrode/electrolyte interface. Herein, the interfacial properties of Zn anodes are improved through the introduction of a silver(Ag) protective layer, which facilitates uniform Zn deposition and regulates Zn ion transport. As a result, Ag-coated Zn anodes display stable cycling performance(600 h at 1 m A cm^(-2)) and low overpotential(150 mV at 50 mA cm^(-2)after 2000 cycles). The Ag layer in situ electrochemically converts into an AgZn_(3) layer and promotes Zn ion desolvation and threedimensional diffusion processes. Moreover, a Zn-ion capacitor assembled with an Ag-coated Zn anode and active carbon cathode shows a capable cycling lifespan and rate performance. 7Construction of truncated-octahedral LiMn2O4 for battery-like electrochemical lithium recovery from brine显示文摘The extraction of lithium from salt lakes or seawater has attracted worldwide attention because of the explosive growth of global demand for lithium products. The LiMn_(2)O_(4)-based electrochemical lithium recovery system is one of the strongest candidates for commercial application due to its high inserted capacity and low energy consumption. However, the surface orientation of LiMn_(2)O_(4)that facilitates Li diffusion happens to be prone to manganese dissolution making it a great challenge to obtain high lithium inserted capacity and long life simultaneously. Herein, we address this problem by designing a truncated octahedral LiMn_(2)O_(4)(Tr-oh LMO) in which the dominant(111) facets minimize Mn dissolution while a small portion of(100) facets facilitate the Li diffusion. Thus, this Tr-oh LMO-based electrochemical lithium recovery system shows excellent Li recovery performance with high inserted capacity(20.25 mg g^(-1)per cycle) in simulated brine. In addition, the dissolution rate of manganese per 30 cycles is only 0.44% and the capacity maintained 85% of the initial after 30 cycles. 9Engineering J-aggregates for NIR-induced meso-CF_(3)-BODIPY nanoparticles by activated apoptosis mechanism in photothermal therapy显示文摘Forming J-aggregates by organic monomer is a fascinating strategy to urge spectroscopic redshift with respect to that of the monomer.Herein,we designed 1,7-diphenyl-substituted meso–CF_(3)-BDP monomer confirmed by X-ray crystallographic analysis.The low-barrier rotation of the–CF_(3)group in meso–CF_(3)-BDP1 significantly enhances the non-radiative efficiency,and the photothermal conversion efficiency(PCE)of the self-assembled nanoparticles(1-NPs:λ_(abs)=746 nm)by J-aggregates was 82%.1-NPs could effectively block cell cycle progression,inhibit cancer cell proliferation and trigger cell apoptosis under low power laser irradiation(0.2 W/cm^(2)).This study proposes an alternate molecular design platform by J-aggregates to promote PCE through the insertion of rotating segment and trigger the cancer cells apoptosis in photothermal therapy at low power laser density.Chujing Ye Shan Zhang Dongxiang Zhang Yue Shen Zhan Wang Huan Wang Junyi Ren Xin-Dong Jiang Jianjun Du Rong Shang Guiling Wang 2023Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,9:0
10Characterization of the sphingolipid profiling of Emiliania huxleyi against virus infection显示文摘Lipidomics approach by UPLC-Q-Exactive-MS was used for the identification,quantification,comparison,and characterization of sphingolipids in virus infected marine Emiliania huxleyi BOF92 cells.The results show that 16 significantly changed sphingolipids(including Cer,CerG1,and SPHm)were identified during viral infection.Our data confirmed previously recognized facts that viral infection led to a shift toward virus-specific sphingolipids,which is consistent with the down-regulation of genes involved in the host de novo sphingolipid biosynthesis.Moreover,we revealed the upregulation of virusencoded homologous genes participating in de novo sphingolipids biosynthesis and virus-specific hydroxylated long chain bases(LCBs)as phytoCer,suggesting the competitive inhibition of host sphingolipid synthesis to produce the required building blocks for viral production,replication,and assembly.Additionally,Cer 40꞉1;2,Cer 40꞉2;2 isomer,and CerG139꞉0;2,Cer 39꞉0;2 as novel metabolite markers might indicate the general dysfunctions in E.huxleyi in response to viral infection.Our results show that viral infection led to a profound remodeling of host sphingolipidome,by which viruses depend on the hijacking of host sphingolipid metabolism to support the viral life cycle.Jingwen LIU Jingjing GAO Enquan ZHANG Hanrui JIANG Guiling LI Jian LI Jun ZENG Daren WU 2023Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2023,41,4:0
