| 1 | Effect of intestinal ischemia-reperfusion on expressions of endogenous basic fibroblast growth factor and transforming growth factor β in lung and its relation with lung repair显示文摘AIM To study the changes of endogenoustransforming growth factor β(TGFβ)and basicfibroblast growth factor(bFGF)in lung followingintestinal ischemia and reperfusion injury andtheir effects on lung injury and repair.METHODS Sixty Wistar rats were divided intofive groups,which underwent sham-operation,ischemia(45 minutes),and reperfusion(6,24and 48 hours,respectively)after ischemia(45minutes).Immunohistochemical method wasused to observe the localization and amounts ofboth growth factors.RESULTS Positive signals of both growthfactors could be found in normal lung,mainly inalveolar cells and endothelial cells of vein.Afterischemia and reperfusion insult,expressions ofboth growth factors were increased and theiramounts at 6 hours were larger than those ofnormal control or of 24 and 48 hours after insult.CONCLUSION The endogenous bFGF and TGF βexpression appears to be up-regulated in thelung following intestinal ischemia andreperfusion,suggesting that both growth factorsmay be involved in the process of lung injury andrepair. | Xiao Bing Fu Yin Hui Yang Tong Zhu Sun Xiao Man Gu Li Xian Jiang Xiao Oing Sun Zhi Yong Sheng Research Laboratory,304th Hospital of PLA,Beijing 100037,China | 2000 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2000，6，3： | 21 |

| 3 | Improvement on Mixograph test through water addition and parameter conversions显示文摘To improve Mixograph testing effect, Farinograph measurements were adopted as a quality standard and changes in water absorption and parameter conversion in Mixograph test were explored. Comparative study showed that increasing water absorption to about 73% and converting original parameters to compound parameters in Mixograph tests significantly increased their predictive power for flour quality. These efforts also enabled the adoption of fixed water addition level in Mixograph test and simplified the test procedure significantly. With the success in parameter conversions, Mixograph test results were successfully described by Farinograph parameters, which allow breeders to compare and exchange test results easily. | 4 | Polysaccharide-based nanomedicines for cancer immunotherapy:A review显示文摘Cancer immunotherapy is an effective antitumor approach through activating immune systems to eradicate tumors by immunotherapeutics.However,direct administration of“naked”immunotherapeutic agents(such as nucleic acids,cytokines,adjuvants or antigens without delivery vehicles)often results in:(1)an unsatisfactory efficacy due to suboptimal pharmacokinetics;(2)strong toxic and side effects due to low targeting(or off-target)efficiency.To overcome these shortcomings,a series of polysaccharide-based nanoparticles have been developed to carry immunotherapeutics to enhance antitumor immune responses with reduced toxicity and side effects.Polysaccharides are a family of natural polymers that hold unique physicochemical and biological properties,as they could interact with immune system to stimulate an enhanced immune response.Their structures offer versatility in synthesizing multifunctional nanocomposites,which could be chemically modified to achieve high stability and bioavailability for delivering therapeutics into tumor tissues.This review aims to highlight recent advances in polysaccharide-based nanomedicines for cancer immunotherapy and propose new perspectives on the use of polysaccharide-based immunotherapeutics. | Yujun Zeng Yufan Xiang Ruilong Sheng Helena Tomás João Rodrigues Zhongwei Gu Hu Zhang Qiyong Gong Kui Luo | 2021 | Bioactive Materials2021，6，10： | 3 |
