| 1 | Degradation of organic pollutants by a Co_3O_4 -graphite composite electrode in an electro-Fenton-like system显示文摘A novel composite electrode was constructed by pressing together Co3O4 and graphite and it was used as the cathode in an electro-Fenton-like (EFL) system. The poor electron transport characteristic of Co3O4 was overcome by incorporating graphite. In situ electro-catalytic generation of hydroxyl radicals (·OH) occurred at high current efficiencies from pH 2-10, extending the traditional Fenton reaction pH range. Cyclic voltammetry and AC impedance spectrometry were used to characterize the composite electrode. The ability of the EFL system to degrade organic compounds was investigated using sulforhodamine B (SRB) and 2,4-dichlorophenol (2,4-DCP) as probes. Decoloration of SRB (1.0×10-5 mol/L) was complete (100%) in 150 min and SRB was effectively degraded from pH 2-10. The decomposition of SRB was studied using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and total organic carbon (TOC) analysis and results indicated that the final degradation products were carbon dioxide, carboxylic acids and amines. The EFL system also decomposed 2,4-DCP and the degradation was 98.6% in 240 min. Electro-catalytic degradation of SRB occurs by a ·OH mechanism. After 5 times reused, the degradation rate of SRB did not significantly slow down. | 3 | A Theoretical Study on Pyrolysis and Sensitivity of Energetic Compounds(Ⅴ)──Nitro Derivatives of Methylbenzene显示文摘UHF-SCF-AM1 MO calculations were performed for two kinds of pyrolysis reactions of seven nitro derivatives of methylbenzene(homolysis reactions by the rupture of bond C-NO2 into radicals and isomerization reactions in the way of methyl H transferring to the ortho nitro O atom). The molecular geometries of the reactants, the transition states and the products of the fourteen reactions were fully optimized. The activation energies for these two kinds of reactions have been obtained. The results indicate that this category of compounds is more easily pyrolyzed by being initiated via isomerization reactions. | 4 | Modified technique of advanced core decompression for treatment of femoral head osteonecrosis显示文摘BACKGROUND Osteonecrosis of the femoral head(ONFH)is a destructive condition most commonly affecting young and middle-aged patients.The leading consequence of ONFH is often a significant articular disability.Effective joint-preserving surgical treatments are urgently needed for patients with early stage ONFH when outcomes of treatment are in general better than the advanced stage disease.AIM To introduce a new surgery procedure called percutaneous expanded core decompression and mixed bone graft technique,which is a new way of jointpreserving surgical treatments.METHODS The clinical data of 6 patients with ONFH diagnosed and treated with the procedure called percutaneous expanded core decompression and mixed bone graft technique at The First Hospital of Qiqihar from March 2013 to August 2019 were retrospectively analyzed;the follow-up ended in December 2019.RESULTS There were 6 male patients with an average age of 43 years in our study.Gratifying results have been obtained from the comparison of Harris hip score,visual analogue scale,and imaging examination before and after operation.CONCLUSION This new modified technique is simple,safe,and reliable.No serious perioperative complications were observed in our cases.Advantages of the single blade expandable reamer are obvious.The adjuvant substance is inexpensive and easy to obtain.Thus,this technique is an effective joint-preserving surgical treatment for patients with early stage of ONFH. | Lin Lin Yan Jiao Xian-Guo Luo Jin-Zhu Zhang He-Liang Yin Li Ma Bo-Ran Chen Derek M Kelly Wei-Kuan Gu Hong Chen | 2020 | World Journal of Clinical Cases2020,8,13: | 3 |
