1Impacts of soil organic matter, pH and exogenous copper on sorption behavior of norfloxacin in three soils显示文摘Norfloxacin sorption and the factors (soil organic matter (SOM), pH, and exogenous copper (Cu) inffluencing the sorption were investigated in a black soil (soil B), a ?uvo-aquic soil (soil F), and a red soil (soil R). With increasing norfloxacin concentrations, sorption amount of norfloxacin increased in both the bulk soils and their SOM-removed soils, but the sorption capacity of SOM-removed soils was higher than that of their corresponding bulk soils, indicating that the process of norfloxacin sorption in soil was influenced by the soil properties including SOM. The sorption data in all bulk soils and SOM-removed soils were fitted to Freundlich and Langmuir models. The correlation coeflcients suggested that the experimental data fitted better to Freundlich equation than to Langmuir equation. Furthermore, the data from soil F and SOM-removed F could not be described by Langmuir equation. The norfloxacin sorption amount decreased in soil B and soil F, whereas it increased in soil R as solution pH increased. The maximum KD and KOC were achieved in soil R when the equilibrium solution pH was 6. The norfloxacin sorption was also influenced by the exogenous Cu2+, which depended on the soil types and Cu2+ concentrations. 4TOPOLOGY OPTIMIZATION OF MULTIPLE INPUTS AND MULTIPLE OUTPUTS COMPLIANT MECHANISMS显示文摘An optimal topology design method for multiple inputs and multiple outputs compliant micro-manipulation system is presented. Firstly, the topology design problem is posed in terms of a multiple inputs load and several specified output deflections. The compliance and stiffness of the system are expressed by the mutual potential energy and strain energy, respectively, which can be controlled by a multi-criteria objective function. Secondly, based on the optimality criteria method, a model solution algorithm is presented. Finally, a numerical example is presented to show the validity of the presented technique. 5A level set method for reliability-based topology optimization of compliant mechanisms显示文摘Based on the level set model and the reliability theory, a numerical approach of reliability-based topology optimization for compliant mechanisms with multiple inputs and outputs is presented. A multi-objective topology optimal model of compliant mechanisms considering uncertainties of the loads, material properties, and member geometries is developed. The reliability analysis and topology optimization are integrated in the optimal iterative process. The reliabilities of the compliant mechanisms are evaluated by using the first order reliability method. Meanwhile, the problem of structural topology optimization is solved by the level set method which is flexible in handling complex topological changes and concise in describing the boundary shape of the mechanism. 6Vacuum pressure swing adsorption process for coalbed methane enrichment显示文摘The enrichment of low concentration coalbed methane using adsorption process with activated carbon adsorbent was studied in this work.Adsorption isotherms of methane,nitrogen and carbon dioxide on activated carbon were measured by volumetric method,meanwhile a series of breakthrough tests with single component,binary components and three components feed mixture has been performed for exploring dynamic adsorption behaviors.Moreover,a rigorous mathematical model of adsorption bed containing mass,energy,and momentum conservation equation as well as dualsite Langmuir model with the Linear driving force model for gassolid phase mass transfer has been proposed for numerical modeling and simulation of fixed bed breakthrough process and vacuum pressure swing adsorption process.Furthermore,the lumped mass transfer coefficient of methane,nitrogen and carbon dioxide on activated carbon adsorbent has been determined to be 0.3 s^(-1),1.0 s^(-1) and 0.06 s^(-1) by fitting the breakthrough curves using numerical calculation.Additionally,a six bed VPSA process with twelve step cycle sequence has been proposed and investigated for low concentration coalbed methane enrichment.Results demonstrated that the methane molar fraction in feed mixture ranged from 10%to 50%could be enriched to 32.15%to 88.75%methane in heavy product gas with a methane recovery higher than 83%under the adsorption pressure of 3 bar(1 bar=105 Pa)and desorption pressure of 0.1 bar.Energy consumption of this VPSA process was varied from 0.165 k·W·h·m^(-3) CH_(4)to 0.649 k·W·h·m^(-3) CH_(4).Finally,a dualstage VPSA process has been successfully developed to upgrade a low concentration coalbed methane containing 20%methane to a target product gas with methane purity higher than 90%,meanwhile the total methane recovery was up to 98.71%with a total energy consumption of 0.504 k·W·h·m^(-3)CH_(4).Bo Lu Yuanhui Shen Zhongli Tang Donghui Zhang Gaofei Chen 2021Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,4:4

11Expression patterns and functional divergence of homologous genes accompanied by polyploidization in cotton(Gossypium hirsutum L.)显示文摘Naturally allotetraploid cotton has been widely used as an ideal model to investigate gene expression remodeling as a consequence of polyploidization.However,the global gene pattern variation during early fiber development was unknown.In this study,through RNA-seq technology,we comprehensively investigated the expression patterns of homologous genes between allotetraploid cotton(G.hirsutum)and its diploid progenitors(G.arboreum and G.raimondii)at the fiber early development stage.In tetraploid cotton,genes showed expression level dominance(ELD)bias toward the A genome.This phenomenon was explained by the up-/downregulation of the homologs from the nondominant progenitor(D genome).Gene ontology(GO)enrichment results indicated that the ELD-A genes might be a prominent cause responsible for fiber property change through regulating the fatty acid biosynthesis/metabolism and microtubule procession,and the ELD-D genes might be involved in transcription regulation and stress inducement.In addition,the number and proportion of completely A-and D-subfunctionalized gene were similar at different fiber development stages.However,for neofunctionalization,the number and proportion of reactivated D-derived genes were greater than those of A at 3 and 5 DPA.Eventually,we found that some homologous genes belonging to several specific pathways might create novel asymmetric transcripts between two subgenomes during polyploidization and domestication process,further making the fiber property meet the human demands.Our study identified determinate pathways and their involved genes between allotetraploid cotton and their progenitors at early fiber development stages,providing new insights into the mechanism of cotton fiber evolution.Zhen Peng Hua Cheng Gaofei Sun Zhaoe Pan Xiao Wang Xiaoli Geng Shoupu He Xiongming Du 2020Science China(Life Sciences)2020,63,10:2
12Polymer nanoparticles with dendrimer-Ag shell and its application in catalysis显示文摘Polymer nanoparticles with dendrimer-Ag shell were prepared and their application in catalytic reduction of 4-nitrophenol(4-NP) was investigated.Cross-linked polystyrene(PS) microspheres were prepared through dispersion copolymerization of styrene,acrylic acid and crosslinking monomer 1,2-divinylbenzene.PS microspheres with average size of 450 nm and narrow size distribution were used as support for the immobilization of dendrimer-Ag shell.The polyamidoamine(PAMAM) dendrimer shell was successively grafted onto the surface of PS microspheres through repetitive Michael addition reaction of methyl acrylate(MA) and amidation of the obtained esters with large excess of ethylenediamine(EDA).Silver nanoparticles were formed directly inside the PAMAM shell through reduction with NaBH_4.The resulting PS@PAMAM-Ag nanoparticles were packed in a stainless steel column and used successfully for catalytic reduction of 4-NP.This technique for packing catalytic polymer particles in a column could improve the efficiency of using the metal catalyst and the tedious separation in catalytic reaction.Gaofei Dang Yan Shi Zhifeng Fu Wantai Yang 2013Particuology2013,11,3:2
13Preparation of Ti species coating hydrotalcite by chemical vapor deposition for photodegradation of azo dye显示文摘TiO_2 in anatase crystal phase is a very effective catalyst in the photocatalytic oxidation of organic compounds in water. To improve its photocatalytic activity, the Ti-coating Mg Al hydrotalcite(Ti–Mg Al–LDH) was prepared by chemical vapor deposition(CVD) method.Response surface method(RSM) was employed to evaluate the effect of Ti species coating parameters on the photocatalytic activity, which was found to be affected by the furnace temperature, N2 flow rate and influx time of precursor gas. Application of RSM successfully increased the photocatalytic efficiency of the Ti–Mg Al–LDH in methylene blue photodegradation under UV irradiation, leading to improved economy of the process.According to the results from X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, Brunner–Emmet–Teller and Barrett–Joyner–Hallender, thermogravimetric and differential thermal analysis, UV–vis diffuse reflectance spectra analyses, the Ti species(TiO_2or/and Ti^(4+)) were successfully coated on the Mg Al–LDH matrix. The Ti species on the surface of the Ti–Mg Al–LDH lead to a higher photocatalytic performance than commercial TiO_2-P25. 14Stable Isotope Signatures and Moisture Transport of a Typical Heavy Precipitation Case in the Southern Tianshan Mountains显示文摘Stable oxygen isotopes in precipitation contain meaningful environmental information on a synoptic scale and can be applied to diagnose hydrometeorological processes.A series of rainstorms occurred at the southern Tianshan Mountains during the period from May to June 2013,and the event-based precipitation was sampled along the mountain range from west to east.Based on δ18 O values in precipitation samples as well as the corresponding meteorological parameters,the moisture transport paths during the sampling period were identified.In late-May(stage 1),isotopes in precipitation collected generally showed a depleting trend.In mid-June(stage 2),there was no coherent trend of isotopes in precipitation for these stations,and only isotope values in Aksu showed a continually depleting trend.Checking other meteorological proxies during the sampling period,the event-based precipitation isotopes sensitively reflected the moisture process.In central Asia,both the westerly and monsoon moisture can be delivered to cause extreme precipitation events,and the isotopic information provides an alternative tool to investigate the atmospheric processes.WANG Liwei ZHANG Mingjun WANG Shengjie Athanassios AARGIRIOU WANG Gaofei Vasileios SALAMALIKIS SHI Mengyu JIAO Rong 2020Chinese Geographical Science2020,30,1:2

16Comparative effect of allopolyploidy on transposable element composition and gene expression between Gossypium hirsutum and its two diploid progenitors显示文摘An allopolyploidization event formed allotetraploid Gossypium species from an A-genome diploid species and a D-genome diploid species. To explore the responses of transposable elements(TEs) to allopolyploidy, we assembled parallel TE datasets from G. hirsutum, G. arboreum and G. raimondii and analyzed the TE types and the effects of TEs on orthologous gene expression in the three Gossypium genomes.Gypsy was the most abundant TE type and most TEs were located $500 bp from genes in all three genomes. In G. hirsutum, 35.6% of genes harbored TE insertions, whereas insertions were more frequent in G. arboreum and G. raimondii. G. hirsutum had the highest proportion of uniquely matching 24-nt small interfering RNAs(siRNAs) that targeted TEs. TEs,particularly those targeted by 24-nt siRNAs, were associated with reduced gene expression, but the effect of TEs on orthologous gene expression varied substantially among species. Orthologous gene expression levels in G. hirsutum were intermediate between those of G. arboreum and G. raimondii, which did not experience TE expansion or reduction resulting from allopolyploidization. 17Effect of pore size on CH4/N2 separation using activated carbon显示文摘In this paper,a model of activated carbon was established by molecular simulation and the separation performance of N2 and CH4 on activated carbon was studied.In order to evaluate the adsorption selectivity and diffusion selectivity of N2 and CH4,Grand Canonical Monte Carlo and molecular dynamic methods were used to obtain equilibrium adsorption isotherms and mean square displacements of N2 and CH4 on activated carbon with different pore sizes.Research results showed that the difference in adsorption isosteric heat of N2 and CH4 at the pore size of 0.46 nm is the largest,which is 5.759 and 7.03 kcal·mol^-1(1 cal=4.184 J),respectively.Activated carbon with pore size of 0.46 nm has the best N2 and CH4 adsorption selectivity,while its diffusion selectivity is not obvious.Gaofei Chen Yaxiong An Yuanhui Shen Yayan Wang Zhongli Tang Bo Lu Donghui Zhang 2020Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2020,28,4:2
18Daylight and thermal performance of a switchable ethylene tetra-fluoro-ethylene cushion with dynamic control in different climates显示文摘Switchable multi-layer ethylene tetra-fluoro-ethylene(ETFE)cushion controls the natural light and heat flux passing through the cushion with varying outdoor conditions by dynamically modifying its properties.In this paper,the switchable ETFE cushions with ink printing of different optical and thermal properties were adopted as the window in a typical office model,and the indoor daylight and energy consumption were simulated by using Grasshopper software.Experimental model was built to validate the numerical model.Five locations representing five climate zones in China were selected to analyze the feasibility of the switchable ETFE cushion in different climates.The hourly indoor daylight and heat gain in a single day revealed the effects of the dynamic mechanism of ETFE cushion in improving indoor natural light and thermal environment.In addition,the annual daylight performance at the working area(1.5 m from the window)was simulated.ETFE cushion with printing of the lowest transmittance(ETFE1)was the optimal option for most cities and window-to-wall ratios,with the percentage of annual useful daylight hours up to 78.6%,except for the cases where the window-to-wall ratio(WWR)was 0.35 in Harbin,Beijing,and Hefei.The distribution of useful daylight hours revealed that ETFE cushions with low,medium,and high printing transmittance were suitable for offices where people work in the front,medium,and back region of the room,respectively.Energy consumption calculation revealed that ETFE1 showed advantages over other windows in most cities except for cities highly dominated by heating.ETFE1 delivered up to 33%of energy saving over a year in Kunming compared with the conventional double glazing but was not superior in cities with high heating and low cooling demands,such as Harbin.Wanfang Zhao Wei He Zhongting Hu Xiaoyu Zheng Sheng Zhang Gaofei Xu Hongbing Chen Yanping Yuan 2022Building Simulation2022,15,1:2

20Synthesis and Tumor Cytotoxicity of Novel1,2,3-Triazole-substituted 3-Oxo-oleanolic Acid Derivatives显示文摘Fifteen novel 3-oxo-oleanolic acid esters bearing aryl substituted 1,2,3-triazolyl methyl moiety weresynthesized via the method of Copper(I)-catalyzed Huisgen cycloaddifion. The cytotoxicity evaluation results of thesecompounds against five human tumor cell lines show that most of these compounds presented potent activity andselectivity against A375-S2 and HT1080 cells.
