| 2 | Effect of Bauxite Aggregate on Properties of Al_2O_3-SiC-C Iron Trough Castables显示文摘Al2O3- SiC- C iron trough castables were prepared using high alumina bauxite clinker GL-90( > 1 mm) or homogenized bauxite GL-88 to replace the traditional brown corundum aggregates( > 1 mm) to reduce the cost of iron trough castables. Effects of the two bauxite aggregates on properties of iron trough castables were investigated. The results show that the two kinds of bauxite affect flowability,bulk density,strength and slag corrosion resistance of trough castables differently. Compared with homogenized bauxite,high alumina bauxite clinker is more suitable to substitute brown corundum. The castables prepared from the bauxite clinker have similar performances with those prepared from brown corundum,especially used in medium or small blast furnaces with weak thermal impact and lower temperature hot metal.However,in large blast furnaces with severe thermal impact and high temperature hot metal,the performances of the two castables are significantly different. | 9 | Black phosphorus quantum dots as multifunctional nanozymes for tumor photothermal/catalytic synergistic therapy显示文摘Nanozymes are nanomaterials with enzyme-like properties that have attracted significant interest owing to their high stability,easy preparation,and tunable catalytic properties,especially in the field of cancer therapy.However,the unfavorable catalytic effects of nanozymes in the acidic tumor microenvironment have limited their applications.Herein,we developed a biomimetic erythrocyte membrane-camouflaged ultrasmall black phosphorus quantum dots(BPQDs)nanozymes that simultaneously exhibited an exceptional near-infrared(NIR)photothermal property and dramatically photothermal-enhanced glucose oxidase(GOx)-like activity in the acidic tumor microenvironment.We demonstrated the engineered BPQDs gave a photothermal conversion efficiency of 28.9%that could rapidly heat the tumor up to 50℃ while effectively localized into tumors via homing peptide iRGD leading after intravenously injection.Meanwhile,the significantly enhanced GOx-like activity of BPQDs under NIR irradiation was capable of catalytical generating massive toxic reactive oxygen species via using cellular glucose.By combining the intrinsic photothermal property and the unique photothermal-enhanced GOx-like catalytic activity,the developed BPQDs were demonstrated to be an effective therapeutic strategy for inhibiting tumor growth in vivo.We believe that this work will provide a novel perspective for the development of nanozymes in tumor catalytic therapy. | Hui Ding Daji Wang Haibing Huang Xiaozhu Chen Jie Wang Jinjie Sun Jianlin Zhang Lu Lu Beiping Miao Yanjuan Cai Kelong Fan Yongtian Lu Hongsong Dong Xiyun Yan Guohui Nie Minmin Liang | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,2: | 1 |

| 11 | Removal of arsenic by pilot-scale vertical flow constructed wetland显示文摘Four pilot-scale Vertical Flow Constructed Wetlands(VFCWs)filled with gravel and planted with Phragmites australis were operated for seven months in the field to study the efficiency of arsenic removal in contaminated wastewater.The average arsenic removal efficiency by the VFCWs was 52.0%±20.2%,52.9%±21.3%,and 40.3%±19.4%at the theoretical concentrations of 50µg/L(CW50),100µg/L(CW100),and 500µg/L(CW500)arsenic in the wastewater,respectively.The results also showed no significant differences in the removal efficiency for conventional contaminants(nitrogen,phosphorus,or chemical oxygen demand)between wastewater treatments that did or did not contain arsenic(P>0.05),except for phosphorus in CW500.The highest average monthly removal rate of arsenic occurred in August(55.9%–74.5%)and the lowest in November(7.8%–15.5%).The arsenic removal efficiency of each VFCW was positively correlated with temperature(P<0.05).Arsenic accumulated in both substrates and plants,with greater accumulation associated with increased arsenic concentrations in the influent.The maximum accumulated arsenic concentrations in the substrates and plants at the end of the experiment were 4.47 mg/kg and 281.9 mg/kg,respectively,both present in CW500.The translocation factor(TF)of arsenic in the reeds was less than 1,with most of the arsenic accumulating in the roots.The arsenic mass balance indicated that substrate accumulation contributed most to arsenic removal(19.9%–30.4%),with lower levels in plants(3.8%–9.5%).In summary,VFCWs are effective for the treatment of arsenic-containing wastewater. | Yaocheng Fan Tiancui Li Deshou Cun Haibing Tang Yanran Dai Feihua Wang Wei Liang | 2021 | Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2021,15,4: | 0 |

| 13 | Characteristics of S-wave Envelope Broadening in the Changbaishan Tianchi Volcano显示文摘High-frequency S-wave seismogram envelopes of microearthquakes broaden with increasing travel distance,a phenomenon known as S-wave envelope broadening. Multiple forward scattering and diffraction for the random inhomogeneities along the seismic ray path are the main causes of S-wave envelope broadening,so the phenomenon of S-wave envelope broadening is used to study the inhomogeneity of the medium. The peak delay time of an S-wave,which is defined as the time lag from the direct S-wave onset to the maximum amplitude arrival of its envelope,is accepted to quantify S-wave envelope broadening. 204 small earthquake records in Changbaishan Tianchi volcano were analyzed by the S-wave envelope broadening algorithm. The results show that S-wave envelope broadening in the Changbaishan Tianchi volcano is obvious,and that the peak delay time of S-wave has a positive correlation with the hypocenter distance and frequency of the S-wave. The relationships between the S-wave peak delay time and the hypocenter distance for different frequency bands were obtained using the statistics method.
