| 1 | Th17 cells and their associated cytokines in liver diseases显示文摘T helper 17(Th17)cells are a newly identified subset of T helper cells that play important roles in host defense against extracellular bacteria as well as in the pathogenesis of autoimmune disease.The functions of Th17 cells are mediated via the production of several cytokines including interleukin(IL)-17 and IL-22.Recent studies show that the frequency of IL-171 cells is significantly elevated in a variety of chronic liver diseases including alcoholic liver disease,viral hepatitis and hepatocellular carcinoma.IL-17 receptor is expressed virtually on all types of liver cells,while IL-22 receptor expression is restricted to epithelial cells including hepatocytes in the liver.IL-17 seems to play an important role in inducing liver inflammation via stimulating multiple types of liver nonparenchymal cells to produce proinflammatory cytokines and chemokines,while IL-22 appears to be an important factor in promoting hepatocyte survival and proliferation. | Fouad Lafdil Andrew M Miller Sung Hwan Ki Bin Gao | 2010 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2010，7，4： | 29 |
| 2 | Trends and outcomes of pancreaticoduodenectomy for periampullary tumors: A 25-year single-center study of 1000 consecutive cases显示文摘AIM To evaluate the evolution, trends in surgical approaches a n d r e c o n s t r u c t i o n t e c h n i q u e s, a n d i m p o r t a n t lessons learned from performing 1000 consecutive pancreaticoduodenectomies(PDs) for periampullary tumors.METHODS This is a retrospective review of the data of all patients who underwent PD for periampullary tumor during the period from January 1993 to April 2017. The data were categorized into three periods, including early period(1993-2002), middle period(2003-2012), and late period(2013-2017).RESULTS The frequency showed PD was increasingly performed after the year 2000. With time, elderly, cirrhotic and obese patients, as well as patients with uncinate process carcinoma and borderline tumor were increasingly selected for PD. The median operative time and postoperative hospital stay decreased significantly over the periods. Hospital mortality declined significantly, from 6.6% to 3.1%. Postoperative complications significantly decreased, from 40% to 27.9%. There was significant decrease in postoperative pancreatic fistula in the second 10 years, from 15% to 12.7%. There was a significant improvement in median survival and overall survival among the periods.CONCLUSION Surgical results of PD significantly improved, with mortality rate nearly reaching 3%. Pancreatic reconstruction following PD is still debatable. | 3 | Barrett's esophagus:Prevalence and risk factors in patients with chronic GERD in Upper Egypt显示文摘AIM:To determine the prevalence and possible risk factors of Barrett's esophagus(BE) in patients with chronic gastroesophageal reflux disease(GERD) in El Minya and Assuit, Upper Egypt.METHODS:One thousand consecutive patients with chronic GERD symptoms were included in the study over 2 years.They were subjected to history taking including a questionnaire for GERD symptoms, clinical examination and upper digestive tract endoscopy.Endoscopic signs suggestive of columnar-lined esophagus(CLE) were defined as mucosal tongues or an upward shift of the squamocolumnar junction.BE was diagnosed by pathological examination when specialized intestinal metaplasia was detected histologically in suspected CLE.pH was monitored in 40 patients.RESULTS:BE was present in 7.3% of patients with chronic GERD symptoms, with a mean age of 48.3 ± 8.2 years, which was signif icantly higher than patients with GERD without BE(37.4 ± 13.6 years).Adenocarcinomawas detected in eight cases(0.8%), six of them in BE patients.There was no signiflcant difference between patients with BE and GERD regarding sex, smoking, alcohol consumption or symptoms of GERD.Patients with BE had significantly longer esophageal acid exposure time in the supine position, measured by pH monitoring.CONCLUSION:The prevalence of BE in patients with GERD who were referred for endoscopy was 7.3%.BE seems to be associated with older age and more in patients with nocturnal gastroesophageal reflux. | Yasser M Fouad Madiha M Makhlouf Heba M Tawfik Hussein El Amin Wael Abdel Ghany Hisham R El-khayat | 2009 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2009，15，28： | 4 |
| 4 | Flow cytometric detection of hepatitis C virus antigens in infected peripheral blood leukocytes: Binding and entry显示文摘AIM: We designed two synthetic-core-specific peptides core 1 (C1) and core 2 (C2), and an E1-specific peptide (E1). We produced specific polyclonal antibodies againstthese peptides and used the antibodies for detection of HCV antigens on surface and within infected peripheral blood leukocytes.METHODS: Peripheral blood from a healthy individual who tested negative for HCV RNA was incubated with HCV type 4 infected serum for 1 h and 24 h at 37 ℃. Cells were stained by direct and indirect immunofluorescence and measured by flow cytometry.RESULTS: After 1 h of incubation, antibodies against C1,C2, and E1 detected HCV antigens on the surface of 27%,26% and 73% of monocytes respectively, while 10%, 5% and 9% of lymphocytes were positive with anti-C1, anti-C2 and anti-E1 respectively. Only 1-3% of granulocytes showed positive staining with anti-C1, anti-C2 and anti E1 antibodies. After 24 h of incubation, we found no surface staining with anti-C1, anti-C2 or anti-E1. Direct immunostaining using anti-C2 could not detect intracellular HCV antigens, after 1 h of incubation with the virus, while after 24 h of incubation, 28% of infected cells showed positive staining. Only plus strand RNA was detectable intracellularly as early as 1 h after incubation, and remained detectable throughout 48 h post-infection.Interestingly, minus RNA strand could not be detected after 1 h, but became strongly detectable intracellularly after 24 h post-infection.CONCLUSION: Monocytes and lymphocytes are the preferred target cells for HCV infection in peripheral blood leukocytes. | 5 | 饲粮叶酸添加水平对山麻鸭产蛋性能、蛋品质、生殖器官及血浆生殖激素指标的影响显示文摘本试验旨在研究饲粮叶酸(FA)添加水平对山麻鸭产蛋性能、蛋品质、生殖器官及血浆生殖激素指标的影响,以确定产蛋期(18~32周龄)山麻鸭FA的需要量。试验选用16周龄的山麻鸭360只,随机分成6个组,每个组5个重复,每个重复12只,单笼饲养。试验蛋鸭饲喂不添加FA的基础饲粮2周后,分别饲喂在基础饲粮中添加0、0.5、1.0、2.0、4.0、8.0 mg/kg FA的试验饲粮,试验期15周。结果表明:1)饲粮FA添加水平对产蛋初期、产蛋高峰期和试验全期的蛋鸭产蛋性能指标无显著影响(P〉0.05)。2)随着饲粮FA添加水平的提高,蛋壳相对重和蛋壳厚度先升高后下降,1.0 mg/kg FA添加组的蛋壳相对重显著高于其他组(P〈0.05)。3)随着饲粮FA添加水平的提高,优势卵泡重、优势卵泡重/卵巢重先升高后降低,饲粮FA添加水平对优势卵泡重和优势卵泡重/卵巢重有显著影响(P〈0.05),以4.0mg/kg FA添加组最高。4)随着饲粮FA添加水平的提高,血浆孕酮浓度先升高后下降,其中2.0 mg/kg FA添加组血浆孕酮浓度最高;8.0 mg/kg FA添加组血浆促黄体生成素浓度显著高于其他各组(P〈0.05)。由此可见,在玉米-豆粕型饲粮中添加FA在一定程度上有利于促进优势卵泡的发育,但未能显著影响山麻鸭的产蛋性能。仅考虑产蛋性能,玉米-豆粕型饲粮中不需添加FA;以蛋壳相对重和蛋壳厚度为评价指标,建议玉米-豆粕型饲粮FA适宜添加水平为1.0 mg/kg。 | 夏伟光 王胜林 陈伟 阮栋 王爽 FOUAD A M 林映才 郑春田 | 2016 | 动物营养学报2016，28，7： | 3 |
