1Time constraints for the closing of the Paleo-Asian Ocean in the Northern Alxa Region: Evidence from Wuliji granites显示文摘The Wuliji pluton in the Northern Alxa Region, Inner Mongolia, is the principal part of Shalazhashan Mountain. It belongs to the Zongnaishan-Shalazhashan Arc Zone, northwestern North China Plate, whose north is Engger Us Ophiolite Belt and south is Qagan Qulu Ophiolite Belt. The pluton was emplaced into Upper Carboniferous-Lower Permian Amushan Formation. According to the research about the original Carboniferous Amushan Formation, the lower and middle sections of the Carboniferous Amushan Formation consist of volcanic, clastic, and carbonate rocks, interpreted to represent the sedimentary association of a volcanic arc and back-arc basin; the upper section of the Amushan Formation is a molasse composed of silty shale, sandstone, gravel-bearing sandstone, and conglomerate. The Wuliji pluton consists mainly of biotite monzonitic granite, amphibole-bearing biotite monzonitic granite, and monzonitic granite. Geochemical analyses show that the pluton has both metaluminous and peraluminous characteristics, and on average has SiO2>70 wt%, Al2O3 >14 wt%, and high contents of Na2O+K2O (8.5 wt%), which define a calc-alkaline series. In addition, REE patterns show enrichment of LREE and weak negative Eu anomalies (δ Eu=0.3-1). Altogether, the samples are depleted in Nb, Ta, Ti, P, Sr, and Ba, and enriched in Rb, Th, and K. These geochemical traits are interpreted to reflect an arc component. A secondary ion mass spectrometry (SIMS) U-Pb zircon age of the biotite monzonitic Wuliji pluton in the Northern Alxa Region, Inner Mongolia, is 250.8±2.0 Ma (1σ). Samples have ε Nd (t) values between 0.1 and 1.3, which suggests that the granites were derived from mixing between the crust and mantle. Based on the SIMS age and geochemical characteristics, Wuliji granite is interpreted to be a post-collisional granite, the result of mantle-derived melt and assimilated juvenile arc crust. However, according to the newest international stratigraphic classification standard, the upper section of the Amushan Formation is Lower Permian in age, indicating that the back-arc basin had already closed in Early Permian. We conclude that the Paleo-Asian Ocean represented by the Engger Us Ophiolite Belt subducted southward in Late Carboniferous, at the same time that the trench-arc-basin system formed in the Northern Alxa Region. The Paleo-Asian Ocean was closed in Early Permian and the Northern Alxa Region entered a post-collisional period in the Late Permian, as indicated by the Wuliji granites. 2Mycorrhizal symbiosis modulates the rhizosphere microbiota to promote rhizobia–legume symbiosis显示文摘Plants establish symbioses with mutualistic fungi,such as arbuscular mycorrhizal(AM)fungi,and bacteria,such as rhizobia,to exchange key nutrients and thrive.Plants and symbionts have coevolved and represent vital components of terrestrial ecosystems.Plants employ an ancestral AM signaling pathway to establish intracellular symbioses,including the legume–rhizobia symbiosis,in their roots.Nevertheless,the relationship between the AM and rhizobial symbioses in native soil is poorly understood.Here,we examined how these distinct symbioses affect root-associated bacterial communities in Medicago truncatula by performing quantitative microbiota profiling(QMP)of 16S rRNA genes.We found that M.truncatula mutants that cannot establish AM or rhizobia symbiosis have an altered microbial load(quantitative abundance)in the rhizosphere and roots,and in particular that AM symbiosis is required to assemble a normal quantitative root-associated microbiota in native soil.Moreover,quantitative microbial co-abundance network analyses revealed that AM symbiosis affects Rhizobiales hubs among plant microbiota and benefits the plant holobiont.Through QMP of rhizobial rpoB and AM fungal SSU rRNA genes,we revealed a new layer of interaction whereby AM symbiosis promotes rhizobia accumulation in the rhizosphere of M.truncatula.We further showed that AM symbiosis-conditioned microbial communities within the M.truncatula rhizosphere could promote nodulation in different legume plants in native soil.Given that the AM and rhizobial symbioses are critical for crop growth,our findings might inform strategies to improve agricultural management.Moreover,our work sheds light on the co-evolution of these intracellular symbioses during plant adaptation to native soil conditions.Xiaolin Wang Huan Feng Yayu Wang Mingxing Wang Xingguang Xie Huizhong Chang Like Wang Jicheng Qu Kai Sun Wei He Chunyan Wang Chuanchao Dai Zhaohui Chu Changfu Tian Nan Yu Xuebin Zhang Huan Liu Ertao Wang 2021Molecular Plant2021,14,3:6

4COMPUTER CONTROLLED METHOD FOR MEASUREMENT OFSURFACE CRACK LENGTH ON PLATE SUBJECTEDTO FATIGUE LOADING显示文摘The calibration curves obtained using strain gages are used to predict surface crack length on plate specimen subjected to 4-point bending fatigue loading. The results shows that the proposed procedure is of high precision with the maximum error percentage being less than 6%, and it can be easily used to estimate or monitor the surface crack length under fatigue loading both in laboratory and in engineering. 5Settlement Construction of Ethnic Minority Under Sur vival Pressure in Mountainous Area of Guizhou Province:A Case Study of the Biandan Mountain Area显示文摘During the farming era, people were living under remarkable survival pressure, which was even harder for the ethnic minorities living in the mountainous area of Guizhou Province due to its unique land morphology. In this situation, the ancestors of Buyi ethnic group living in the Biandan Mountain Area gave priority to a reasonable response to the survival pressure when they started their settlement construction. When choosing settlement location, they fully took into account the mountain forms, water resources, and the distribution of the valley plateaus. In addition, they considered the valley plateau as the key element while building the 'mountain-water-paddy fi eld-woods-village' settlement organism through the general layout design and construction. After a long-lasting evolution, the settlement space was constantly improved due to population growth, adjustments to nature, responses to wars, and communications with the Han people. 6Study on the ratio change measurement of 1000 kV HVDC divider based on improved DC voltage summation method显示文摘Determining the voltage ratio change is one of the core issues in the traceability of the DC voltage divider.Basing on the previous research results,this study proposes an improved DC voltage summation method to evaluate the voltage division ratio error of 1000 kV DC resistance divider.The principle of the method is to calibrate the voltage divider with rated voltage 2U by using two auxiliary voltage dividers which are with rated voltage U,wherein the high-voltage(HV)arm and the low-voltage arm of the auxiliary voltage divider can be separated.Research results show that compared with the conventional method,the method can reduce one measurement variable when determining the divider's ratio change,thus simplifying the calibration process.The voltage ratio of 100 kV measured by the method of this study was well-verified by the calibration results from the National Institute of Metrology(NIM,China)and Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt(PTB,Germany).Using the proposed method,the ratio change of DC voltage divider at an applied voltage of 1000 kV was effectively obtained and the uncertainty of 2.5μV/V was achieved.Research results can provide technical guarantee for the accurate measurement of HVDC magnitude.Dengyun Li Kaipei Liu Min Lei Feng Zhou Changxi Yue Jicheng Yu 2020High Voltage2020,5,2:0

8Renal tubule-targeted dexrazoxane suppresses ferroptosis in acute kidney injury by inhibiting ACMSD显示文摘Acute kidney injury(AKI)is a heterogeneous clinical complication with no existing definite or particular therapies.Therefore,molecular mechanisms and approaches for treating acute kidney injury are in urgent need.Herein,we demonstrated that dexrazoxane(DXZ),a U.S.Food and Drug Administration(FDA)-approved cardioprotective drug,can both functionally and histologically attenuate cisplatin or ischemia-reperfusion injury-induced AKI in vitro and in vivo via inhibiting ferroptosis specifically.This effect is characterized by decreasing lipid peroxidation,shown by the biomarker of oxidative stress 4-hydroxynonenal(HNE)and prostaglandinendoperoxide synthase 2(Ptgs2),while reversing the downregulation of glutathione peroxidase 4(GPX4)and ferritin 1(FTH-1).Mechanistically,the results revealed that DXZ targeted at the renal tubule significantly inhibits ferroptosis by suppressingα-amino-β-carboxymuconate-ε-semialdehyde decarboxylase(ACMSD).Furthermore,the conjugation of dexrazoxane and polysialic acid(DXZ-PSA)is specifically designed and utilized to enhance the therapeutic effect of DXZ by long-term effect in the kidney,especially retention and targeting in the renal tubules.This study provides a novel therapeutic approach and mechanistic insight for AKI by inhibiting ferroptosis through a new type drug DXZPSA with the enhanced renal distribution.Yunjing Zhang Jicheng Wu Quanlin An Huanhuan Zhu Xinwan Su Ying Wang Xishao Xie Jian Zhang Xi Yao Chunhua Weng Shi Feng Jianhua Mao Xianghui Fu Fei Han Xin Cao Ben Wang Weiqiang Lin 2023Nano Research2023,16,7:0
