| 1 | Comparative stability analyses of traditional and selective room-and-pillar mining techniques for sub-horizontal tungsten veins显示文摘The stability and productivity concerning a modification on the traditional room and pillar for a new selective technique at the Portuguese Panasqueira Mine have been described.The traditional room-and-pillar stoping uses 5.0-m wide rooms with 3.0 m×3.0 m pillars,while the selective room-and-pillar mining technique consists in stoping with rooms of 4.0 m wide and pillars of 4 m×4 m with a subsequent selective cutting of the quartz veins at the mid pillar of approximately 0.5 m high,to obtain a pillar section with an area of 3.0 m×3.0 m.The stability and productivity analyses indicate that the selective technique obtains smaller average pillar safety factor,more rock mass displacement,more extraction and selectivity ratios,and ore grade improvement,compared with the traditional technique.These results show that the selective technique is also more convenient.This proposed selective room-and-pillar mining technique is applicable to any sub-horizontal narrow quartz veins with wolfram,gold,etc.such as the famous La Rinconada gold mine in the Peruvian Andes. | Vidal Felix Navarro Torres Carlos Dinis da Gama Matilde Costa e Silva Paula Falcao Neves Qiang Xie | 2011 | International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2011，18，1： | 7 |
| 2 | Liquid chromatographic methods for determination of the new antiepileptic drugs stiripentol, retigabine, rufinamide and perampanel: A comprehensive and critical review显示文摘The new antiepileptic drugs perampanel,retigabine,rufinamide and stiripentol have been recently approved for different epilepsy types.Being them an innovation in the antiepileptics armamentarium,a lot of investigations regarding their pharmacological properties are yet to be performed.Besides,considering their broad anticonvulsant activities,an extension of their therapeutic indications may be worthy of investigation,especially regarding other seizure types as well as other central nervous system disorders.Although different liquid chromatographic(LC)methods coupled with ultraviolet,fluorescence,mass or tandem-mass spectrometry detection have already been developed for the determination of perampanel,retigabine,rufinamide and stiripentol,new and more cost-effective methods are yet required.Therefore,this review summarizes the main analytical aspects regarding the liquid chromatographic methods developed for the analysis of perampanel,retigabine(and its main active metabolite),rufinamide and stiripentol in biological samples and pharmaceutical dosage forms.Furthermore,the physicochemical and stability properties of the target compounds will also be addressed.Thus,this review gathers,for the first time,important background information on LC methods that have been developed and applied for the determination of perampanel,retigabine,rufinamide and stiripentol,which should be considered as a starting point if new(bio)analytical techniques are aimed to be implemented for these drugs. | Sara Meirinho Marcio Rodrigues Ana Fortuna Amílcar Falcao Gilberto Alves | 2021 | Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis2021，11，4： | 2 |
| 3 | Parallel LDPC Decoding on GPUs Using a Stream-Based Computing Approach显示文摘Low-Density Parity-Check(LDPC) codes are powerful error correcting codes adopted by recent communication standards.LDPC decoders are based on belief propagation algorithms,which make use of a Tanner graph and very intensive message-passing computation,and usually require hardware-based dedicated solutions.With the exponential increase of the computational power of commodity graphics processing units(GPUs),new opportunities have arisen to develop general purpose processing on GPUs.This paper proposes the use of GPUs for implementing flexible and programmable LDPC decoders.A new stream-based approach is proposed,based on compact data structures to represent the Tanner graph.It is shown that such a challenging application for stream-based computing,because of irregular memory access patterns,memory bandwidth and recursive flow control constraints,can be efficiently implemented on GPUs.The proposal was experimentally evaluated by programming LDPC decoders on GPUs using the Caravela platform,a generic interface tool for managing the kernels' execution regardless of the GPU manufacturer and operating system.Moreover,to relatively assess the obtained results,we have also implemented LDPC decoders on general purpose processors with Streaming Single Instruction Multiple Data(SIMD) Extensions.Experimental results show that the solution proposed here efficiently decodes several codewords simultaneously,reducing the processing time by one order of magnitude. | Gabriel Falcao Student Member Shinichi Yamagiwa Vitor Silva Leonel Sousa Senior Member | 2009 | Journal of Computer Science & Technology2009，24，5： | 2 |
