3Geological characteristics and metallogenic significance of the Devonian intermediate-basic volcanic rocks in the Dachang deposit, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region显示文摘Recently discovered intermediate-basic volcanic rocks in the Devonian strata at Dachang, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region are dominated by basalts and andesites. Most of them belong to the calc-alkali and alkali series. Petrology and geochemistry data indicate that the volcanic rocks may be formed in a continental rift environment. The volcanic rocks are in conformable contact with the overlying and underlying wall rocks, with such typical sedimentary structures as laminated and striped ones, and the host rocks of the volcanic rocks contain lots of marine fossils such as tentaculite. Many pieces of evidence indicate that the eruption environment of the volcanic rocks is a sea-facies one. The volcanic rocks are of the LREE-enrichment type, with high ratios of light rare-earth elements to heavy rare-earth elements. In addition, they display moderately negative δEu anomalies and moderately negative δCe anomalies with a higher degree of LREE and HREE fractionation. Through the Q-cluster analysis of the REE samples, it is indicated that the ores have a closer relation with the layered volcanic rocks, and also possess a certain inheritance-consistency relationship with the layered volcanic rocks. The source of ore-forming materials may be related with volcanism. 5A review of control loop monitoring and diagnosis:Prospects of controller maintenance in big data era显示文摘Owing to wide applications of automatic control systems in the process industries, the impacts of controller performance on industrial processes are becoming increasingly significant. Consequently, controller maintenance is critical to guarantee routine operations of industrial processes. The workflow of controller maintenance generally involves the following steps: monitor operating controller performance and detect performance degradation, diagnose probable root causes of control system malfunctions, and take specific actions to resolve associated problems. In this article, a comprehensive overview of the mainstream of control loop monitoring and diagnosis is provided, and some existing problems are also analyzed and discussed. 6High-average-power, high-repetition-rate tunable terahertz difference frequency generation with GaSe crystal pumped by 2 μm dual-wavelength intracavity KTP optical parametric oscillator显示文摘We have demonstrated a high-average-power,high-repetition-rate optical terahertz(THz)source based on difference frequency generation(DFG)in the GaSe crystal by using a near-degenerate 2μm intracavity KTP optical parametric oscillator as the pump source.The power of the 2μm dual-wavelength laser was up to 12.33 W with continuous tuning ranges of 1988.0–2196.2 nm/2278.4–2065.6 nm for two waves.Different GaSe cystal lengths have been experimentally investigated for the DFG THz source in order to optimize the THz output power,which was in good agreement with the theoretical analysis.Based on an 8 mm long GaSe crystal,the THz wave was continuously tuned from 0.21 to 3 THz.The maximum THz average power of 1.66μW was obtained at repetition rate of 10 kHz under 1.48 THz.The single pulse energy amounted to 166 pJ and the conversion efficiency from 2 μm laser to THz output was 1.68×10^(-6).The signal-to-noise ratio of the detected THz voltage was 23 dB.The acceptance angle of DFG in the GaSe crystal was measured to be 0.16°.DEXIAN YAN YUYE WANG DEGANG XU PENGXIANG LIU CHAO YAN JIA SHI HONGXIANG LIU YIXIN HE LONGHUANG TANG JIANCHEN FENG JIANQIN GUO WEI SHI KAI ZHONG YUEN H.TSANG JIANQUAN YAO 2017Photonics Research2017,5,2:5
7Expression of human soluble TRAIL in Chlamydomonas reinhardtii chloroplast显示文摘Tumor necrosis factor-related apop-tosis-inducing ligand (TRAIL) induces selectively apoptosis in various tumor cells and virus-infected cells, but rarely in normal cells. A chloroplast expres-sion vector, p64TRAIL, containing the cDNA coding for the soluble TRAIL (sTRAIL), was constructed with clpP-trnL-petB-chlL-rpl23-rpl2 as Chlamydomonas reinhardtii plastid homologous recombinant frag-ments and spectinomycin-resistant aadA gene as a select marker. The plasmid p64TRAIL was trans-ferred into the chloroplast genome of C. reinhardtii by the biolistic method. Three independently trans-formed lines were obtained by 100 mg/L spectino-mycin selection. PCR amplification, Southern blot analysis of the sTRAIL coding region DNA and culti-vation cells in the dark all showed that the exogenous DNA had been integrated into chloroplast genome of C. reinhardtii. Western blot analysis showed that human soluble TRAIL was expressed in C. reinhardtii chloroplast. The densitometric analysis of Western blot indicated that the expressed human sTRAIL protein in the chloroplasts of C. reinhardtii accounted for about 0.43%―0.67% of the total soluble proteins. 8Emanation-Sedimentary Metallogenic Series and Models of the Proterozoic Rift in the Kangdian Axis显示文摘The Kangdian axis basement can be divided into two tectonic layers. The lower tectonic layer is the crystalline basement which is made up of the Archaean Dibadu Formation and early Proterozoic Dahongshan Group. The former is a kata-metamorphic basic volcano-sedimentary formation of the old geosyncline (old continental nucleus), and the latter is a medium-grade metamorphosed alkali-rich basic volcanic (emanation)-sedimentary formation of the Yuanjiang-Dahongshan marginal rift. They are in disconformable contact. The upper tectonic layer is the folded basement, and made up of the middle-late Proterozoic Kunyang Group. It is the result of Dongchuan-Yuanjiang intercontinental rifting with discordant contract with the underlying and overlying strata. 9Current Understanding on the Immunological Functions of Tumor Necrosis Factor-Related Apoptosis-Inducing Ligand显示文摘Tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-related apoptosis-inducing ligand (TRAIL) selectively induces apoptosis in various tumor cells and virus-infected cells, but rarely in normal cells. The killing specificity of TRAIL has brought great interests to develop a novel apoptosis-based anti-tumor agent for clinical application. TRAIL is expressed in many normal tissues and cells, such as liver, brain, kidney, heart, colon, lung, and testis. However, immunological and physiological functions of TRAIL in vivo have not been understood well. 10Plasmon-tunable Au@Ag core-shell spiky nanoparticles for surfaceenhanced Raman scattering显示文摘A facile synthetic approach has been developed to prepare uniform and size-tunable spiky Au@Ag core-shell nan oparticles (NPs) to tailor the localized surface plasm on res onance (LSPR) properties. The gradual assembly of small Au nano crystals allows the size of spiky Au NPs to be modulated from tens to several hundreds of nano meters by tuning the concentration of initial Au seeds and Au source;and the thick ness of the Ag shell can be adjusted with stepwise reduction of Ag(l)ions. The LSPR bands of such spiky Au@Ag core-shell NPs resemble those of pure spiky Au NP cores of similar sizes in near-infrared region, and increasing the Ag shell thickness results in a blue shift and broadening of the LSPR band in the n ear-i nfrared regi on. Additi on ally, the spiky Au@Ag core-shell NPs exhibit improved surface-e nhan ced Rama n scattering (SERS) activity as compared to the bare spiky Au NPs and spherical Ag@Au NPs. 12Atacamite and Nantokite in Kaerqueka Copper Deposit of Qimantag Area:Evidence for Cenozoic Climate Evolution of the Qaidam Basin显示文摘Using a mineralogy method to reflect climate evolution is a new approach to research Cenozoic environmental progression of the Qaidam Basin. In this paper, we present the chemical composition and crystallographic parameter of atacamite, nantokite, and tenorite in cryptocrystalline aggregates from the Kaerqueka copper deposit of Qimantag metallogenic belt by means of electron microprobe and in-situ X-ray diffraction analyses. Atacamite and nantokite occur in an intimate intergrowth as the secondary precipitation of chalcopyrite and bornite filling in the interstitial space of andradite in the Kaerqueka copper deposit, with an average composition of Cl: 12.38 wt.%, Cu: 63.76 wt.%, O: 21.46 wt.%. X-ray microdiffraction shows that the intergrowth contains nantokite with a cubic unit cell a=5.403(2) ? and atacamite with an orthorhombic unit cell a=6.030(3), b=6.883(2), c=9.114(1) ?. XRD quantitative calculation shows that the nanometric aggregate contains 36.07 wt.% tenorite, 18.41 wt.% atacamite, and 45.52 wt.% nantokite. The presence of nantokite and atacamite requires saline solutions for their formation and hyper-arid climate conditions for their preservation. Combined with the data of salt lakes and the pollen sequence of western China, we suggest that during the uplift of the Tibetan Plateau and the retreat of the Paratethys, saline water was forced to the surface through a basal fracture zone. In the hyper-arid climate of the Qaidam Basin, the recharge of groundwater by direct precipitation is negligible, and groundwater is derived from inflow from the salt lakes. Thus, atacamite is preserved. 13Method to Detect Granary Storage Weight Based on the Janssen Model显示文摘This study proposes a new model of granary storage weight detection based on the Janssen model to satisfy the strategic requirements of granary storage quantity detection in China. The model theoretically elucidates the relationship between granary storage weight and bottom/side pressure. A new layout of pressure sensors along the inner and outer rings is also proposed to obtain the pressure value. 14A decision tree based decomposition method for oil refinery scheduling显示文摘Refinery scheduling attracts increasing concerns in both academic and industrial communities in recent years.However, due to the complexity of refinery processes, little has been reported for success use in real world refineries. In academic studies, refinery scheduling is usually treated as an integrated, large-scale optimization problem,though such complex optimization problems are extremely difficult to solve. In this paper, we proposed a way to exploit the prior knowledge existing in refineries, and developed a decision making system to guide the scheduling process. For a real world fuel oil oriented refinery, ten adjusting process scales are predetermined. A C4.5 decision tree works based on the finished oil demand plan to classify the corresponding category(i.e. adjusting scale). Then,a specific sub-scheduling problem with respect to the determined adjusting scale is solved. 17Calculation model of AC loss for CICC(cable-in-conduit conductor) based on strain显示文摘The CICC (cable-in-conduit conductor) in ITER (International Thermal-nuclear Experimental Reactor) will run in high-current, fast transient magnet field and complex environment. In response to the impact of magnet fields above 10 T, the Nb3Sn conductor has been introduced. However, the AC (alternating current) loss mechanism of Nb3Sn conductor on strain has not been explored. So, it is necessary to study the AC loss calculation method with transient electromagnetic field and wide range of strain, the coupling current in complex field and current signal of field is simplified to the spectrum effects of coil excitation, and calculation technology of AC loss, which contains the frequency, magnet field, coil characteristics and other parameters, is constructed to meet the discrete Fourier transform (DFT). By comparative analysis of simulation, it is found that the AC loss calculation of the conductor with spectrum algorithm is closer to the actual project value than the traditional algorithm. For the rapid excitation, in particular plasma discharge and burst, spectrum algorithm and the traditional algorithm are consistent. For the relative error calculation of hysteresis loss and coupling loss, it is found that the coupling loss is cumulative linearly, where the hysteresis loss is not so. As a function of the amplitude, frequency and phase angle, the relative error is less than 40%. 20Influences of the Three Gorges Dam in China on Precipitation over Surrounding Regions显示文摘Impacts of the Three Gorges Dam(TGD) in China on the regional pattern and annual amount of precipitation around the Three Gorges Reservoir(TGR) are examined by comparing observations before and after the operation of TGD(1984–2003 and 2004–13). Empirical orthogonal function(EOF) analysis of the annual precipitation anomalies clearly indicates that the land-use change associated with the construction of TGD has not significantly changed the precipitation pattern. To investigate the impacts of TGD on the rainfall amount, we compare the relative variations of atmospheric variables related to precipitation formation in three spatial bands: over TGR, near TGR, and far from TGR. It is found that the differences in annual rainfall over TGD between the two periods before and after the operation of TGD are small, suggesting a weak impact of TGD on the rainfall amount.
