1Label-free fiber nanograting sensor for real-time in situ early monitoring of cellular apoptosis显示文摘The achievement of functional nanomodules for subcellular label-free measurement has long been pursued in order to fully understand cellular functions.Here,a compact label-free nanosensor based on a fiber taper and zinc oxide nanogratings is designed and applied for the early monitoring of apoptosis in individual living cells.Because of its nanoscale dimensions,mechanical flexibility,and minimal cytotoxicity to cells,the sensing module can be loaded in cells for long term in situ tracking with high sensitivity.A gradual increase in the nuclear refractive index during the apoptosis process is observed,revealing the increase in molecular density and the decrease in cell volume.The strategy used in our study not only contributes to the understanding of internal environmental variations during cellular apoptosis but also provides a new platform for nonfluorescent fiber devices for investigation of cellular events and understanding fundamental cell biochemical engineering.Danran Li Nina Wang Tianyang Zhang Guangxing Wu Yifeng Xiong Qianqian Du Yunfei Tian Weiwei Zhao Jiandong Ye Shulin Gu Yanqing Lu Dechen Jiang Fei Xu 2022Advanced Photonics2022,4,1:5
2Copper-catalyzed asymmetric propargylic substitution of anthrones and propargylic esters显示文摘Anthrones are key structural motifs in many natural products, bioactive compounds and pharmaceutical chemicals. Earth-abundant-metal-catalyzed asymmetric functionalization of anthrones has not proved to be viable. Herein, we disclosed a highly enantioselective propargylic substitution of anthrones with propargylic esters using copper salts with chiral N, N, P-ligand. 3Demonstration of a ZnO-Nanowire-Based Nanograting Temperature Sensor显示文摘In this study,we experimentally demonstrate a miniature fiber thermometer based on tip-integrated ZnO-nanowire-nanograting.The sensor has a diameter less than 1μm and the length of the Bragg grating is sub-10μm.The ZnO-nanowire-nanograting is sensitive to the environmental temperature change.Thus,the intensity of the light whose wavelength is in the rising or falling region of the nanograting spectrum will vary with the shift in wavelength due to change in temperature.Taking one wavelength(655 nm)in the rise linear region of the nanograting spectrum,a sensitivity of 0.066nW/℃in the air is achieved experimentally.The proposed temperature sensor has the superiorities of compactness,stableness,and easy fabrication compared to regular fiber grating sensors,offering great potential for detecting inside minimal volume environments.Hongqian CAO Danran LI Kanghu ZHOU Ye CHEN 2023Photonic Sensors2023,13,1:0
