6Molecular Weight and Distribution of Cellulose and Cellulose Microspheres显示文摘[Objective] This study aimed to provide basic data for studying the relationship between structure and property of cellulose microspheres by measuring molecular weight of cellulose and cellulose microspheres with viscosity method and gel permeation chromatography(GPC) method.[Method] In viscosity method,cadmium ethylenediamine was used as the solvent,intrinsic viscosity η of the solution was determined at 25 ℃ by using a Ubbelohde viscometer,to calculate the molecular weight of cellulose;in GPC method,8% LiCl /N,N-dimethylacetamide(LiCl/DMAc) was used as the solvent and 0.5% LiCl/DMAc was used as the mobile phase to determine the relative molecular weight and distribution of cellulose and cellulose microspheres.In addition,the determination results were analyzed to compare these two methods.[Result] Viscosity-average molecular weight Mη of cellulose and cellulose microspheres determined with viscosity method were 224,532 and 16,686,respectively;weight-average molecular weight Mw of cellulose and cellulose microspheres determined with GPC method were 284,196 and 22,345,respectively.[Conclusion] The determination results of GPC method are relatively close to the actual value and could truly reflect the characteristics of molecular weight distribution of cellulose and cellulose microspheres.Zefen WANG Kelin HUANG Ben WANG Rui WU Jing TAO Xiaoyu PENG Dankui LIAO 2012Agricultural Biotechnology2012,1,1:1
7In-situ topotactic construction of novel rod-like Bi_(2)S_(3)/Bi_(5)O_(7)I p-n heterojunctions with highly enhanced photocatalytic activities显示文摘In this work,a novel Bi_(2)S_(3)/Bi_(5)O_(7)I p-n heterojunction with three-dimensional rod-like nanostructure was successfully constructed through an in-situ topotactic ion exchange approach.A possible evolution mech-anism from Bi_(5)O_(7)I nanobelts(NBs)into Bi_(2)S_(3)/Bi_(5)O_(7)I rod-like heterostructures(BSI RHs)was proposed,depicting the self-assembly process of internal Bi_(5)O_(7)I NBs and outside networks interwoven by Bi_(2)S_(3)nanorods(NRs),which abided by the Ostwald ripening and epitaxial growth.Owing to the formation of p-n heterojunction and rich oxygen vacancies(OVs),the visible-light absorption ability and separation of photogenerated charge carriers of BSI RHs were highly promoted,leading to a greatly improved photocatalytic ability than that of Bi_(2)S_(3)and Bi_(5)O_(7)I.BSI-1 exhibited the strongest photocatalytic performance,and almost all rhodamine B(RhB)and Pseudomonas aeruginosa(P.aeruginosa)can be thoroughly removed within 90 min.Moreover,a possible photocatalytic mechanism of BSI RHs was proposed based on the tests of active species trapping,electron spin resonance(ESR),photoelectrochemistry(PEC),and photoluminescence(PL)combined with the density functional theory(DFT)simulated computation,vali-dating the dominating roles of·O_(2)^(−)and h+during the photocatalytic process.This work is expected to motivate further efforts for developing novel heterostructures with highly efficient photocatalytic performances,which presents a promising application prospect in the fields of energy and environment.Peng Ju Lei Hao Yu Zhang Jianchao Sun Kunpeng Dou Zhaoxia Lu Dankui Liao Xiaofan Zhai Chengjun Sun 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,4:0
