1Effect of Shoushen granule on arterial elasticity in patients with carotid atherosclerosis:a clinical randomized controlled trial显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effectiveness of Shoushen granule,Chinese herbal preparation,on carotid artery elasticity in patients with carotid atherosclerosis.METHODS: The total of 156 carotid atherosclerosis patients were randomly divided into the intervention group(83 cases,treated with Shoushen granule) and the control group(73 cases,treated with pravastatin). Brachial-ankle pulse wave velocity(ba PWV) and Ankle-Brachial Pressure Index(ABI)were measured by automated arteriosclerosis detector. The changes of common carotid artery intima-media thickness(IMT) and parameters of the carotid artery elasticity in patients,including stiffness parameter(β),pressure-strain elastic modulus(Ep),arterial compliance(Ac),augmentation index(AI),and pulse wave velocity β(PWVβ) were detected by Echo-Tracking(ET) technique before and after 24 week treatment. In the meantime,levels of blood lipid,and liver and renal function were measured respectively.RESULTS: After 24 weeks,ba PWV,IMT and parameters of the carotid artery elasticity(β,Ep,AI and PWVβ) were markedly decreased in intervention group compared with those of before treatment(P < 0.01),but the level of Ac was increased significantly(P < 0.01). And there were no significant differences compared with control group on the same period(P > 0.05).CONCLUSION: In this pilot study,it was demonstrated ET technology and automated arteriosclerosis detector could be used to evaluate carotid artery elasticity effectively,and the action of Shoushen granule on carotid atherosclerosis might be related to the regulation of carotid artery elasticity.Shen Dingzhu Xing Sanli Chen Chuan Shen Rui Lou Danfei 2015Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2015,35,4:15
2Recent Research Developments of Perovskite Solar Cells显示文摘For the first time in 2009,the inorganic-organic hybrid perovskite materials were applied in liquid dye-sensitized solar cells.In 2013,the power conversion efficiency successfully reached 15%,followed by great amount of research papers bursting out.Till August 2014,the highest efficiency is certified to 17.9%,and the reported efficiency is even up to 19.3%.They quickly go beyond dye-sensitized solar cells and organic solar cells.It is expected the perovskite has its efficiency same to the single-crystal silicon cells.The“game changer”of solar cells is coming.The perovskite solar cells are cheap and easily to be made,which will benefit both science and industry.This review summarized recent development of both perovskite materials and solar cell devices,not only including new material developments of perovskite compositions,structures,and fabrication methods,but also focusing on device structures,charge transfer mechanism and stability properties of perovskite solar cells.Their perspective is also estimated.Yingzhuang Ma Shufeng Wang Lingling Zheng Zelin Lu Danfei Zhang Zuqiang Bian Chunhui Huang Lixin Xiao 2014Chinese Journal of Chemistry2014,32,10:3

9Role of chemokines in the hepatocellular carcinoma microenvironment and their translational value in immunotherapy显示文摘The difficulty of early diagnosis,high tumor heterogeneity,and high recurrence and metastasis rates lead to an unsatisfactory treatment status for hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).HCC is a typical inflammation-driven tumor.Chronic inflammation allows nascent tumors to escape immunosurveillance.Chemokines are small,soluble,secreted proteins that can regulate the activation and trafficking of immune cells during inflammation.Several studies have shown that various chemokines with overarching functions disrupt the immune microenvironment during the initiation and progression of HCC.The dysregulated chemokine network in HCC contributes to multiple malignant processes,including angiogenesis,tumor proliferation,migration,invasion,tumor low response,and resistance to immune therapy.Here,we summarize the current studies focusing on the role of chemokines and their receptors in the HCC immune microenvironment,highlighting potential translational therapeutic uses for modulating the chemokine system in HCC.Yijun Wang Mengyu Sun Tongyue Zhang Yangyang Feng Xiangyuan Luo Meng Xie Xiaoyu Ji Danfei Liu Wenjie Huang Limin Xia 2022Oncology and Translational Medicine2022,8,1:0
