1Chelating agents role on phase formation and surface morphology of single orthorhombic YMn_2O_5 nanorods via modified polyacrylamide gel route显示文摘YMn2O5nanorods were synthesized through a modified polyacrylamide gel route.The synthesis strategy in this work is based on a sol-gel process using a polyacrylamide gel method in which oxalic acid,citric acid or tartaric acid is employed as the chelating agent.In the gel routes,oxalic acid was used as a carboxyl chelating agent,while citric acid or tartaric acid was a carboxyl and hydroxyl chelating agent.The as-prepared samples were characterized by means of techniques such as X-ray powder diffraction(XRD)measurement,thermogravimetric analysis(TG),differential scanning calorimetry analysis(DSC),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),thermal expansion measurement and field-emission scanning electron microscopy(SEM)investigations.It was found that oxalic acid is the best chelating agent with Y(NO3)3·6H2O and Mn(CH3COO)2·4H2O as precursors to prepare a single orthorhombic YMn2O5nanorods at 1000°C.Scanning electron microscope observation shows that the morphology of YMn2O5powders is significantly dependent on the chelating agent.The peaks(single orthorhombic YMn2O5nanorods)at 642,600,573,546,521,493,486,468,448 and 400cm?1were observed from FTIR spectra.The phase,surface morphology and chelation mechanisms of YMn2O5samples have been discussed on the basis of the experimental results.WANG ShiFa ZHANG ChuanFei SUN GuangAi CHEN Bo XIANG Xia DING QingPing ZU XiaoTao 2014Science China Chemistry2014,57,3:4

3Abnormal thermal conductivity enhancement in covalently bonded bilayer borophene allotrope显示文摘Thermal conductivity of two-dimensional(2D)materials has gained prominence due to the attractive applications in thermal management and thermoelectric devices.In this work,we present a new member of bilayer 2D boron allotropes,denoted as bilayerβ12 borophene,and study the thermal transport properties by solving phonon Boltzmann transport equation based on density functional theory.Based on quantitative chemical bonding analysis,we identify large degrees of covalent bonding of the interlayer interaction.In comparison to its monolayer counterpart,the bilayer exhibits much higher in-plane thermal conductivity despite the lower phonon group velocity and buckling structure,inferring a new physical mechanism.The thermal conductivity(κ)of bilayerβ_(12)borophene at 300 K is 140.5(86.3)W·m^(-1)·K^(-1)along armchair(zigzag)direction,andκ_(armchair)is about 52.7%higher than that of monolayerβ12 borophene.The abnormal enhancement is attributed to the suppressed phonon scattering possibility and elongation of phonon lifetime.More interesting,after forming bilayerβ12 borophene through interlayer covalent bonding,the dominated phonon branch to thermal conductivity changes to transverse acoustic phonons from out-of-plane flexural acoustic(ZA)phonons in the monolayer borophene.Our study elucidates the rich thermal transport characteristics in bilayer covalently bonded 2D materials,and injects fresh insights into the phonon engineering of 2D borophene relevant for emergent thermal management applications.Yan Yin Yanxiao Hu Shichang Li Guangqian Ding Shifa Wang Dengfeng Li Gang Zhang 2022Nano Research2022,15,4:0
