1Visible light-induced N-doped TiO_2 nanoparticles for the degradation of microcystin-LR显示文摘N-doped nano-crystalline TiO2 powders have been synthesized by the sol-gel method.The shape and crystal structure of the resulting N-doped TiO2 were investigated by X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS),X-ray spectroscopy (XRD),Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) and UV-vis reflection spectrum.The results showed that doping TiO2 with nitrogen can lower its band gap and apparently shift its optical response to the visible region.Under the visible light (λ> 420 nm) irradiation,the MC-LR was degraded by the synthesized N-TiO2 nano-material.The variation of MC-LR amount and its intermediates were detected by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and LC-MS,respectively.The mineralization of MC-LR was determined by total organic carbon (TOC) analysis.Simultaneously,transient oxidative species generated during photocatalysis were tracked by electron spin resonance (ESR) and Peroxidase method.All these results indicated that visible-light excited N-TiO2 can activate molecular oxygen and thereby achieve degradation of MC-LR completely within 14 h.The removal of 59% of TOC was achieved after 20 h irradiation.The major oxidative species in the system were hydroxyl radical (·OH) and H2O2.13 Kinds of intermediates were primarily identified in the process.Based on these results,a reasonable conclusion was drawn for the degradation of MC-LR wherein its four positions are easy to be attacked by the photo-generated OH radical followed by the hydrolyzation of peptides.YANG Jing,CHEN DengXia,DENG AnPing,FANG YanFen,LUO GuangFu,LI DeJiang,LI RuiPing & HUANG YingPing Alan G.MacDiarmid Research Institute of Renewable Energy,China Three Gorges University,Yichang 443000,China 2010Science China Chemistry2010,53,8:12
2Effects of rare-earth dopants on phase structure and electrical properties of lead-free bismuth sodium titanate-based ceramics显示文摘In this work,the effects of rare earth(RE)dopants on the phase structure,microstructure,and electrical properties of lead-free bismuth sodium titanate(BNT)-based ceramics were studied.Rare earth elements(i.e.,Sm,Gd,Ho,Pr,Y,and Yb)were selected as the dopants to replace the Bi site of Bi_(0.5)(Na_(0.8)K_(0.2))0.5TiO_(3) ceramics.It was found that the addition of moderate RE ions reduced the temperature of ferroelectricrelaxor transition(T_(f-r))and the dielectric maximum at lower temperature,while the slight influence on the dielectric maximum at higher temperature and microstructure were observed.Hereby,the threestage evolution of phase structure after introducing RE ions was confirmed.A high piezoelectric coefficient d_(33) of ~190 pC/N was achieved due to the improved dielectric constant in the state with stable electric field-induced ferroelectric phase.The high strain property and converse piezoelectric coefficient d_(33)* of ~340 pm/V were obtained in the state with the coexistence of nonergodic and ergodic relaxor phases when T_(f-r) approached room temperature.The degenerated overall electromechanical properties exhibited in the state with complete ergodic relaxor phase.This study affords a significant guidance for optimizing the piezoelectricity of BNT-based ceramics utilizing rare earth dopants.Anping Deng Jiagang Wu 2020Journal of Materiomics2020,6,2:7
3Catalysis of organic pollutant photodegradation by metal phthalocyanines immobilized on TiO_2@SiO_2显示文摘A TiO2@SiO2 hybrid support was prepared by the sol-precipitation method using n-octylamine as a template.The photocatalyst manganese phthalocyanine tetrasulfonic acid (MnPcS) was immobilized on the support to form MnPcS-TiO2@SiO2.X-ray diffraction (XRD) and UV-Visible diffuse reflectance spectra (UV-Vis DRS) were employed to characterize the catalyst.The photocatalytic degradation of rhodamine B (RhB) and the catalytic oxidation of o-phenylenediamine (OPDA) under visible light irradiation were used as probe reactions.The mineralization efficiency and the degradation mechanism were evaluated using chemical oxygen demand (COD Cr) assays and electron spin resonance (ESR),respectively.RhB was efficiently degraded by immobilized MnPcS-TiO2@SiO2 under visible light irradiation.Complete decolorization of RhB occurred after 240 min of irradiation and 64.02% COD Cr removal occurred after 24 h of irradiation.ESR results indicated that the oxidation process was dominated by the hydroxyl radical (·OH) and superoxide radical (O-·2) generated in the system.WANG ShuLian FANG YanFen YANG Yong LIU JunZi DENG AnPing ZHAO XiaoRong HUANG YingPing 2011Chinese Science Bulletin2011,56,10:5

9Enhanced strain and electrostrictive properties in lead-free BNT-based ceramics via rare earth doping显示文摘Bi_(0.5)Na_(0.5)TiO_(3)(BNT)-based ceramics are one of the most promising lead-free ferroelectrics due to their high strain property.Compared to other chemical modifications,rare earth ions doping provides sig-nificant possibility to optimize the strain property of BNT-based ceramics.In this work,the effects of rare earth ions on phase structure,microstructure,and strain&electrostrictive properties of lead-free BNT-based ceramics were systematically investigated.Rare earth ions(i.e.,La^(3+),Sm^(3+),Yb^(3+),Dy^(3+),and Nd ^(3+))were selected as the doping ions.Introducing moderate La^(3+)ions can drive the ferroelectric state of BNT-based ceramics to nonergodic relaxor state or ergodic relaxor state.The enhanced strain response of~0.40-0.42% and high converse piezoelectric coefficient of~600-630 pm/V can be achieved under 60-70 kV/cm for La^(3+)-doped ceramic with nonergodic relaxor state.Besides,the giant electrostrictive coefficient Q 33 of~0.047 m 4/C 2 can be obtained for La ^(3+)-doped ceramic with ergodic relaxor state.Other rare earth ions also present the promotion effect on strain enhancement for BNT-based ceramics.This study affords a significant guidance to optimize strain and electrostrictive properties of BNT-based ce-ramics via rare earth ions doping.Anping Deng Jiagang Wu 2022Journal of Materiomics2022,8,2:0
