| 1 | 犬体内细粒棘球绦虫和多房棘球绦虫的混合感染显示文摘目的 证实家犬体内是否存在细粒棘球绦虫和多房棘球绦虫混合感染。方法 从新疆和静县巴音布鲁克草原现场收购的30条牧羊犬,经麻醉后处死解剖,在1只雌性牧羊犬小肠内发现棘球绦虫成虫1万条以上,经显微镜观察,疑为细粒棘球绦虫和多房棘球绦虫混合感染。用Eglf/r和EM-15/17EM引物分别对两种棘球绦虫的线粒体DNA特异目的片段进行序列分析鉴定。结果 形态学观察:细粒棘球绦虫孕节长大,生殖孔偏后,位于节片一侧中部。子宫有不规则的分支和侧突(侧囊),内含虫卵200~800个。多房棘球绦虫较短小,4~5体节。孕节中子宫呈简单的囊状,无侧囊。生殖孔开口于侧缘的前半部。线粒体12S RNA序列鉴定,扩增样本DNA经同源序列比较发现,与细粒棘球绦虫G1型具有相同的序列;扩增样本与多房棘球绦虫具有相同的序列。分别确定为细粒棘球绦虫和多房棘球绦虫两种虫种。结论 首次证实家犬体内存在细粒棘球绦虫和多房棘球绦虫的混合感染。 | 温浩 张亚楼 Jean-Mathieu BART Giraudoux P Vuitton DA 马旭东 邹林樾 苗玉清 Craig PS | 2006 | 中国寄生虫学与寄生虫病杂志2006，24，1： | 18 |
| 2 | Activation of human fibroblast-like synoviocytes by uric acid crystals in rheumatoid arthritis显示文摘Hyperuricemia-mediated uric acid crystal formation may cause joint inflammation and provoke the destruction of joints through the activation of inflammasome-mediated innate immune responses.However,the immunopathological effects and underlying intracellular regulatory mechanisms of uric acid crystal-mediated activation of fibroblast-like synoviocytes(FLS)in rheumatoid arthritis(RA)have not been elucidated.Therefore,we investigated the in vitro effects of monosodium urate crystals,alone or in combination with the inflammatory cytokines tumor-necrosis factor(TNF)-a or interleukin(IL)-1b,on the activation of human FLS from RA patients and normal control subjects and the underlying intracellular signaling mechanisms of treatment with these crystals.Monosodium urate crystals were able to significantly increase the release of the inflammatory cytokine IL-6,the chemokine CXCL8 and the matrix metalloproteinase(MMP)-1 from both normal and RA-FLS(all P,0.05).Moreover,the additive or synergistic effect on the release of IL-6,CXCL8 and MMP-1 from both normal and RA-FLS was observed following the combined treatment with monosodium urate crystals and TNF-a or IL-1b.Further experiments showed that the release of the measured inflammatory cytokine,chemokine and MMP-1 stimulated by monosodium urate crystals were differentially regulated by the intracellular activation of extracellular signal-regulated kinase and c-Jun N-terminal kinase pathways but not the p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase pathway.Our results therefore provide a new insight into the uric acid crystal-activated immunopathological mechanisms mediated by distinct intracellular signal transduction pathways leading to joint inflammation in RA. | Da P Chen Chun K Wong Lai S Tam Edmund K Li Christopher WK Lam | 2011 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2011，8，6： | 5 |

| 4 | Sex-specific effects of Eugenia punicifolia extract on gastric ulcer healing in rats显示文摘AIM To evaluate the sex-specific effects of a hydroalcoholic extract from Eugenia punicifolia(HEEP) leaves on gastric ulcer healing.METHODS In this rat study involving males, intact(cycling) females, and ovariectomized females, gastric ulcers were induced using acetic acid. A vehicle, lansoprazole, or HEEP was administered for 14 d after ulcer induction. Body weight was monitored throughout the treatment period. At the end of treatment, the rats were euthanized and the following in vivo and in vitro investigations were performed: macroscopic examination of the lesion area and organ weights, biochemical analysis, zymography, and evaluation of protein expression levels. Additionally, the concentration-dependent effect of HEEP was evaluated in terms of subacute toxicity and cytotoxicity.RESULTS Compared to the vehicle, HEEP demonstrated a great healing capacity by substantially reducing the ulcerative lesion area in males(52.44%), intact females(85.22%), and ovariectomized females(65.47%), confirming that HEEP accelerates the healing of acetic acidinduced gastric lesions and suggesting that this effect is modulated by female sex hormones. The antiulcer effect of HEEP was mediated by prostaglandin E2 only in male rats. Overall, the beneficial effect of HEEP was the highest in intact females. Notably, HEEP promoted the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor(intact vs ovariectomized females) and decreased the expression of Caspase-8 and Bcl-2(intact female vs male or ovariectomized female). Additionally, HEEP enhanced fibroblast proliferation and migration into a wounded area in vitro, confirming its healing effect. | 5 | Acute fatty liver of pregnancy associated with severe acute pancreatitis:A case report显示文摘Acute fatty liver of pregnancy is a rare disease that affects women in the third trimester of pregnancy. Although infrequent, the disease can cause maternal mortality. The diagnosis is not always clear until the pregnancy is terminated, and significant complications, such as acute pancreatitis, can occur. Pancreatic involvement typically only occurs in severe cases after the development of hepatic and renal impairment. To date, little knowledge is available regarding how the disease causes pancreatitis. Treatment involves supportive measures and pregnancy interruption. In this report, we describe a case of a previously healthy 26-year-old woman at a gestational age of 27 wk and 6 d who was admitted with severe abdominal pain and vomiting. This case illustrates the clinical and laboratory overlap between acute fatty liver of pregnancy and pancreatitis, highlighting the difficulties in differentiating each disease. | 7 | Effects of quantitative feed restriction and sex on carcass traits,meat quality and meat lipid profile of Morada Nova lambs显示文摘Background: An experiment was conducted to evaluate the effects of feed restriction(FR) and sex on the quantitative and qualitative carcass traits of Morada Nova lambs. Thirty-five animals with an initial body weight of 14.5 ± 0.89 kg and age of 120 d were used in a completely randomized study with a 3 × 3 factorial scheme consisting of three sexes(11 entire males, 12 castrated males and 12 females) and three levels of feeding(ad libitum – AL and 30% and 60% FR).Results: Entire males presented greater hot and cold carcass weights(P < 0.05), followed by castrated males and females. However, the hot carcass yield was higher for females and castrated males than for entire males. Luminosity values were influenced(P < 0.05) by sex, with entire males presenting higher values than castrated males and females.Females showed higher(P < 0.05) concentrations of linoleic acid and arachidonic acid in the meat of the longissimus thoracis muscle. The meat of animals submitted to AL intake and 30% FR showed similar(P > 0.05) concentrations, and the concentrations of palmitic acid, palmitoleic acid, stearic acid, oleic acid and conjugated linoleic acid were higher(P < 0.05) than those of animals with 60% FR. The meat of females had a higher ω6/ω3 ratio and lower h/H ratio, and females had greater levels of feeding. The meat of animals on the 60% FR diet had a greater ω6/ω3 ratio, lower h/H ratio and lower concentration of desirable fatty acids in addition to a greater atherogenicity index(AI) and thrombogenicity index(TI).Conclusion: Lambs of different sexes had carcasses with different quantitative traits without total influence on the chemical and physical meat characteristics.
