1Fault plane parameters of Tancheng M81/2 earthquake on the basis of present-day seismological data显示文摘The great Tancheng earthquake of M81/2 occurred in 1668 was the largest seismic event ever recorded in history in eastern China.This study determines the fault geometry of this earthquake by inverting seismological data of present-day moderate-small earthquakes in the focal area.We relocated those earthquakes with the double-difference method and found focal mechanism solutions using gird test method.The inversion results are as follows:the strike is 21.6°,the dip angle is 89.5°,the slip angle is 170°,the fault length is about 160 km,the lower-boundary depth is about 32 km and the buried depth of upper boundary is about 4 km.This shows that the seismic fault is a NNE-trending upright right-lateral strike-slip fault and has cut through the crust.Moreover,the surface seismic fault,intensity distribution of the earthquake,earthquake-depth distribution and seismic-wave velocity profile in the focal area all verified our study result.Cuiying Zhou Guiling Diao Jie Geng Yonghong Li Ping Xu Xinliang Hu Xiangdong Feng 2010Earthquake Science2010,23,6:7

6Visualization of the Oncolytic Alphavirus M1 Life Cycle in Cancer Cells显示文摘Oncolytic alphavirus M1 has been shown to selectively target and kill cancer cells,but cytopathic morphologies induced by M1 virus and the life cycle of the M1 strain in cancer cells remain unclear.Here,we study the key stages of M1 virus infection and replication in the M1 virus-sensitive HepG2 liver cancer cell line by transmission electron microscopy,specifically examining viral entry,assembly,maturation and release.We found that M1 virus induces vacuolization of cancer cells during infection and ultimately nuclear marginalization,a typical indicator of apoptosis.Specifically,our results suggest that the endoplasmic reticulum participates in the assembly of nucleocapsids.In the early and late stage of infection,three kinds of special cytopathic vacuoles are formed and appear to be involved in the replication,maturation and release of the virus.Taken together,our data displayed the process of M1 virus infection of tumor cells and provide the structural basis for the study of M1 virus-host interactions.Jia Dan Lin Nie Xudong Jia Cuiying Xu Jing Cai Yuan Lin Jun Hu Wenbo Zhu Yinyin Li Dong Chen Ying Liu Cheng Hu Guangmei Yan Jiankai Liang Qinfen Zhang 2021Virologica Sinica2021,36,4:0

9Ce and Se co-doped MBG/SA/HLC microgel bone powder for repairing tumor bone defects显示文摘The repair and treatment of tumor bone defects is a difficult problem to solve urgently in clinical medicine.After tumor resection,patients are not only faced with a large area of bone defect,but also may have the risk of tumor recurrence,which can easily cause huge physical and mental harm to patients.In this study,we successfully designed and constructed an organic/inorganic composite microgel bone powder(S-H-M3%Ce/3%Se)based on cerium(Ce)and selenium(Se)elements co-doped mesoporous bioactive glass(M3%Ce/3%Se),sodium alginate(SA),and recombinant human-like collagen(HLC).The obtained S-H-M3%Ce/3%Se could inhibit the growth of osteoma cells and promote the growth of normal cells,and effectively promote the repair of defect bone.The integration of the“treatment and repair”organic/inorganic composite microgel bone powder provided a new strategy for the treatment of cancerous bone defects.Miaolin Fan Wan Liu Cuiying Fan Xiaoyan Zheng Junfeng Hui Chaoquan Hu Daidi Fan 2023Nano Research2023,16,1:0
