| 1 | Spatial–temporal variability of terrestrial vegetation productivity in the Yangtze River Basin during 2000–2009显示文摘Aims Terrestrial net primary production(NPP),the balance of gross primary production(GPP)and autotrophic respiration(AR),is a critical measure of carbon sequestration capacity for the Earth’s land surface.The aim of this study was to understand the spatio-temporal variability of NPP associated with GPP and AR in the Yangtze River Basin(YRB),China,from 2000 to 2009 during which the basin warmed significantly.Methods We first derived AR and carbon-use efficiency(CUE)from the improved Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer GPP/NPP products(MOD17)and then conducted spatial analysis to quantify how NPP relates to GPP,AR and their relationship with key observed climate variables(temperature,precipitation and sunshine percentage)in the YRB during 2000–2009.Important Findings The spatial pattern of NPP in the YRB was predominantly determined by GPP and further modified by AR.Higher GPP and relatively low AR made the southern Jinshajiang sub-basin the most productive area in NPP in the YRB.A large portion of the YRB experienced a warmer and drier climate trend in the growing season during 2000–2009.In the upper reaches of the basin,possessing a relatively low temperature base,increases in temperature led to greater increases in GPP than those in AR,resulting in greater increased NPP.However,in the middle and lower reaches of the basin where the base temperature is relatively high,increases in temperature led to greater increases in AR than those in GPP,leading to decreases in NPP.Overall,86.7%of the vegetated area showed a consistent GPP and NPP trend through time with 71.3%of the vegetated area having a positive trend both in GPP and NPP,and the remaining 13.3%of vegetated areas showed an opposite trend in GPP and NPP,with positive GPP and negative NPP trajectories dominating(10.1%of vegetated area)the trend.Although climate warming generally had positive effects on vegetation growth in most areas of the basin,areas with increased NPP(74.5%)were less extensive than those with increased GPP(81.4%)due to the wider increase in AR(82.2%).During the study period,increases in AR offset 62%of the total increased GPP,leading to a substantial decline of CUE,particularly in the warmer lower altitude regions in the southeast.Our work reveals the diverse responses of NPP associated with GPP and AR as the climate warms and generally suggests that NPP in the middle and lower sub-basins in the YRB is more sensitive to future climate warming.These findings enhance our understanding of terrestrial ecosystem carbon dynamics in response to global warming and provide a scientific basis for managing ecosystem productivity in the YRB,China. | Yulong Zhang Conghe Song Kerong Zhang Xiaoli Cheng Quanfa Zhang | 2014 | Journal of Plant Ecology2014,7,1: | 3 |

| 15 | Genome-Wide Dissection of Quan 9311A Breeding Process and Application Advantages显示文摘Germplasm resource innovation is a crucial factor for cultivar development,particularly within the context of hybrid rice breeding based on the three-line system.Quan 9311A,a cytoplasmic male sterile(CMS)line,has been successfully cultivated using rice restoration materials and extensively employed as a female parent in hybrid breeding program in China.This line was developed by crossing the CMS line Zhong 9A with a two-line restorer line 93-11,with the intention of eliminating the restoring ability of 93-11 while retaining the sterility gene WA352c from Zhong 9A.Quan 9311A effectively amalgamates the most favorable agronomic traits from both parental lines.In this study,the relationship between phenotypic characteristics and the known functional genes of Quan 9311A were analyzed using the rice genome navigation technology based on whole-genome sequencing.The findings revealed that Quan 9311A harbors multiple superior alleles from both 93-11 and Zhong 9A,providing exceptional agronomic traits that are unavailable in earlier CMS lines.Despite the removal of the fertility restorer gene Rf3 from 93-11,numerous chromosomal segments from 93-11 persist in the Quan 9311A genome.Furthermore,the hybrid rice Quanyousimiao(QYSM)and the restorer line Wushansimiao(WSSM)were used as examples to illustrate the important role of Quan 9311A as the female parent in heterosis.It was found that QYSM carries a great number of superior alleles,which accounts for its high grain yield and wide adaptability.These insights not only advanced the utilization of hybrid rice pairing groups but also provided guidance for future breeding endeavors.The study introduced innovative concepts to further integrate genomics with traditional breeding techniques.Ultimately,Quan 9311A signified a significant milestone in rice breeding technology,opening up novel avenues for hybrid rice development. | LI Qianlong FENG Qi WANG Heqin KANG Yunhai ZHANG Conghe DU Ming ZHANG Yunhu WANG Hui CHEN Jinjie HAN Bin FANG Yu WANG Ahong | 2023 | Rice science2023,30,6: | 0 |
| 16 | Relationship Between Symptom Distress,Functional Status and Quality of Life in Patients with Low Back Myofascial Pain Syndrome显示文摘Objective:To explore the relationship between symptomatic functional status and quality of life of patients with low back myofascial pain syndrome(MPS).Methods:From July 2021 to June 2022,106 patients with low back myofascial pain syndrome in the Affiliated Hospital of Hebei University were selected as the research subjects.A total of 106 MPS patients were investigated with general information questionnaire,Memory Symptom Assessment Scale(MSAS),Oswestry Disability Index(ODI)and Short Form Questionnaire(SF-36).The relationship between quality of life and symptom distress and dysfunction was observed and analyzed based on symptom distress and dysfunction scores,SF-36 scores,and so on.Results:The total score of MSAS was 1.79±0.91.The overall symptom distress of the patients was moderate.The ODI score was 18.46±5.95.The functional disability of the patients was classified as moderately impaired.The MSAS-PHYS,MSAS-PSYCH,MSAS-GDI three scale scores were 2.14±0.75,1.69±0.88,1.55±0.46,respectively,and the variability of the three scales is relatively large;the dimension scores were significantly lower than those of the conventional scoring models,and P<0.05,indicating a statistical difference;the scores of each dimension of the patient’s quality of life were compared with the scores of symptom distress and functional status.The higher the symptom distress score,the lower the quality of life,with P<0.05,indicating a statistical difference;the higher the score of each dimension of functional status,the better the quality of life,showing a positive correlation,and P<0.05,indicating a statistical difference.Conclusion:MPS patients face a number of physical and psychological symptoms,and their functional status is limited.Nursing staff should implement health education and intervention measures according to the actual situation of the patients,so as to improve the quality of their lives. | Yamin Zhao Qian Shen Xizi Yang Xueting Zhang Conghe Huo Bobo Meng Haimei Ren | 2022 | Journal of Clinical and Nursing Research2022,6,6: | 0 |
