1Therapeutic evaluation of lumbar tender point deep massage for chronic non-specific low back pain显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To observe the therapeutic effect of lumbar tender point deep tissue massage plus lumbar traction on chronic non-specific low back pain using change in pressure pain threshold,muscle hardness and pain intensity as indices.METHODS:We randomly divided 64 patients into a treatment group(32 cases) and a control group(32 cases).Two drop-outs occurred in each group.Patients in the treatment group received tender point deep tissue massage plus lumbar traction and patients in the control group received lumbar traction,alone.We used a tissue hardness meter/algometer and visual analog scale(VAS) to assess the pressure pain threshold,muscle hardness and pain intensity.RESULTS:Following treatment,we obtained the following results in the treatment and control groups,respectively:the pressure pain threshold difference was 1.5±0.8 and 1.1±0.7;the muscle hardness difference was 4.2±1.6 and 3.5±1.3;and the VAS score difference was 1.9±0.9 and 1.4±0.8.Compared to the control group,the treatment group had higher pressure pain threshold(t=2.09,P<0.05),and lower muscle hardness(t=2.05,P<0.05) and pain intensity(t=2.46,P<0.05).CONCLUSION:Lumbar tender point deep tissue massage combined with lumbar traction produced better improvement in pressure pain threshold,muscle hardness and pain intensity in patients with chronic non-specific low back pain than with lumbar traction alone.Zhixin Zheng Jun Wang Qian Gao Jingshan Hou Ling Ma Congbo Jiang Guohui Chen 2012Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2012,32,4:10
2Energy Consumption Prediction of a CNC Machining Process With Incomplete Data显示文摘Energy consumption prediction of a CNC machining process is important for energy efficiency optimization strategies.To improve the generalization abilities,more and more parameters are acquired for energy prediction modeling.While the data collected from workshops may be incomplete because of misoperation,unstable network connections,and frequent transfers,etc.This work proposes a framework for energy modeling based on incomplete data to address this issue.First,some necessary preliminary operations are used for incomplete data sets.Then,missing values are estimated to generate a new complete data set based on generative adversarial imputation nets(GAIN).Next,the gene expression programming(GEP)algorithm is utilized to train the energy model based on the generated data sets.Finally,we test the predictive accuracy of the obtained model.Computational experiments are designed to investigate the performance of the proposed framework with different rates of missing data.Experimental results demonstrate that even when the missing data rate increases to 30%,the proposed framework can still make efficient predictions,with the corresponding RMSE and MAE 0.903 k J and 0.739 k J,respectively.Jian Pan Congbo Li Ying Tang Wei Li Xiaoou Li 2021IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2021,8,5:4

11Mechanism of Phase Lag Between Current Speed and Suspended Sediment: Combined Effect of Erosion, Deposition, and Advection显示文摘To retrieve and explain the phase lag between current speed and suspended sediment concentration(SSC), erosion, deposition, and advection were isolated as primary processes of sediment movement in a three-dimensional model. The response time was proved to be one of the reasons for the phase lag, as time is needed for suspension to diffuse from bottom to surface. A fitted Shields diagram was introduced into the model to reflect the relationship between SSC and shear stress, between shear stress and critical shear stress, as well as between SSC and critical shear stress for erosion. It takes some time for shear stress to increase to the critical value after high or low tide, and this was proved to be an important contributor to the phase lag. Overall, the variation of vertically integrated SSC is influenced by erosion mass flux, deposition mass flux, and advection flux. The phase pattern of erosion mass flux is consistent with the pattern of current if there was no wave action. However, phase difference is produced by the influence of deposition mass flux and advection. In this study, SSC peak/trough mostly occurred near the moment erosion mass flux approximately equaled deposition mass flux and would be impacted by advection. 12Energy efficient cutting parameter optimization显示文摘Mechanical manufacturing industry consumes substantial energy with low energy efficiency. Increasing pressures from energy price and environmental directive force mechanical manufacturing industries to implement energy efficient technologies for reducing energy consumption and improving energy efficiency of their machining processes. In a practical machining process, cutting parameters are vital variables set by manufacturers in accordance with machining requirements of workpiece and machining condition. Proper selection of cutting parameters with energy consideration can effectively reduce energy consumption and improve energy efficiency of the machining process. Over the past 10 years, many researchers have been engaged in energy efficient cutting parameter optimization, and a large amount of literature have been published. This paper conducts a comprehensive literature review of current studies on energy efficient cutting parameter optimization to fully understand the recent advances in this research area. The energy consumption characteristics of machining process are analyzed by decomposing total energy consumption into electrical energy consumption of machine tool and embodied energy of cutting tool and cutting fluid. Current studies on energy efficient cutting parameter optimization by using experimental design method and energy models are reviewed in a comprehensive manner. 18Impeded degradation of perovskite solar cells via the dual interfacial modification of siloxane显示文摘It is challenging to improve the long-term stability of perovskite solar cells(PSCs) without sacrificing efficiency. The perovskite absorbers degrade from the film surface/interfaces, which follows entangled mechanisms that have not been fully revealed yet.Herein, we decouple and elaborate two distinctive pathways regarding film degradation based on FACsPbI3perovskites.Moreover, a dual interfacial modification strategy has been developed for improving the material’s intrinsic stability, thus leading to the film degrading in a more retardant pathway. The corresponding PSCs achieve a stable power output efficiency of 23.75%.More importantly, the unencapsulated PSCs devices retain over 93% of their initial PCE after the maximum power point(MPP)tracking under the continuous 1-sun illumination and show significantly improved stability after aged under the thermal treatment or stored in ambient atmosphere for over 1500 hours without obvious PCE decay. 19Impact of the Belt and Road Initiative on environmental quality in countries along the routes显示文摘China has adhered to the concept of green development since the introduction of the Belt and Road Initiative in 2013.However,as the initiative continues to advance,speculations have been raised on the possibility of its reduction of the environmental quality of the countries along the routes.So,has the seven-year-old Belt and Road Initiative reduced the environmental quality of these countries and how does it affect the environmental quality?To address these issues,this study conducted a quasi-natural experiment,based on the WDI 2005-2017 data,the human development index database of the World Bank and the OECD(Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development)database.A country-year panel data was constructed using the difference-in-differences model to assess the countries along the‘area’initiative for environmental effects,and to further examine the heterogeneity and the policy effect mechanism.The main conclusions were as follows:①The Belt and Road Initiative had significantly improved the environmental quality of countries along the routes.The conclusions remained robust after the introduction of the placebo test,the use of instrumental variables to alleviate possible endogenous problems and a series of other robustness tests.②The results of heterogeneity analysis showed that the Belt and Road Initiative exerted a greater effect on the countries with lower environmental quality than those with higher quality in terms of environmental improvements.③Mechanism analysis showed that the Belt and Road Initiative improved the environmental quality of countries along the routes by promoting technological progress and strengthening environmental regulation,but it failed to significantly improve the environmental quality of these countries by promoting clean energy structure and industrial structure and increasing the scale effect.Therefore,China should continue to vigorously promote the concept of developing a green Belt and Road,expand the coverage of the green Belt and Road,improve the level of clean energy structure of the Belt and Road countries through investment and cooperation,and promote the clean transformation of their industrial structure.These findings provide empirical evidence and implications for the better promotion of the green Belt and Road Initiative,and have certain reference value for the follow-up implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative.Xiang Cao Congbo Teng Jijun Zhang 2021Chinese Journal of Population,Resources and Environment2021,19,4:0
