Optical analysis of a hybrid solar concentrating Photovoltaic /Thermal (CPV/T) system with beam splitting technique显示文摘A novel hybrid solar concentrating Photovoltaic/Thermal (CPV/T) system with beam splitting technique is presented. In this system, a beam splitter is used to separate the concentrated solar radiation into two parts: one for the PV power generation and the other for thermal utility. The solar concentrator is a flat Fresnel-type concentrator with glass mirror reflectors. It can concentrate solar radiation onto solar cells with high uniformity, which is beneficial to improving the efficiency of solar cells. The thermal receiver is separated to the solar cells, and therefore, the thermal fluid can be heated to a relatively high temperature and does not affect the performance of solar cells. A dimensionless model was developed for the performance analysis of the concentrating system. The effects of the main parameters on the performance of the concentrator were analyzed. The beam splitter with coating materials Nb2O3 /SiO2 was designed by using the needle optimization technique, which can reflect about 71% of the undesired radiation for silicon cell(1.1m < 3m) to the thermal receiver for thermal utility. The performance of this CPV/T system was also theoretically analyzed. | HU Peng ZHANG Qian LIU Yang SHENG ChunChen CHENG XiaoFang CHEN ZeShao | 2013 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2013,56,6: | 10
A Case of Hepatitis B Reactivation due to the Hepatitis B Virus Escape Mutant in a Patient undergoing Chemotherapy显示文摘A 62-year-old man had chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection and was diagnosed with liver cirrhosis. At the time of diagnosis the patient's virologic markers were positive for hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg),antibody to hepatitis B e antigen (anti-HBe) and antibody to hepatitis B core antigen (anti-HBc),while antibody to hepatitis B surface antigen (anti-HBs) and HBV DNA were negative.Later the patient received chemotherapy for malignancy. However, this was interrupted due to elevated liver enzymes. At the same time HBV DNA became positive.Lamivudine (LMV) therapy was administered immediately. However, the levels of serum aminotransferase and total bilirubin (TB) were still rising. Finally the patient died of fulminant hepatic failure.A sequence revealed HBV genotype C (HBsAg subtype adw) with immune escape mutations,F8L,S34L,F41S,G44V,F93C,V96G,L110I,C149Y and F161Y.The high morbidity and mortality of this complication is one of the major obstacles to completing the standard treatment for malignancy in HBV carriers. Therefore, the relative risk of antiviral prophylactic failure should be further assessed and the optimal strategy for antiviral prophylaxis in HBsAg-positive patients with oncologic and hematologic malignancies undergoing chemotherapy should be revised. | Chunchen Wu Hui Shi Yun Wang Mengji LU Yang Xu Xinwen Chen | 2012 | Virologica Sinica2012,27,6: | 7
Productive HBV infection of well-differentiated, hNTCP-expressing human hepatoma-derived(Huh7) cells显示文摘Feasible and effective cell models for hepatitis B virus(HBV) infection are required for investigating the complete lifecycle of this virus, including the early steps of viral entry. Resistance to dimethyl sulfoxide/polyethylene glycol(DMSO/PEG), h NTCP expression, and a differentiated state are the limiting factors for successful HBV infection models. In the present study, we used a hepatoma cell line(Hu7^(hDNTCPh)) to overcome these limiting factors so that it exhibits excellent susceptibility to HBV infection. To achieve this goal, different hepatoma cell lines were tested with 2.5% DMSO/4%PEG8000, and one resistant cell line(Huh7 D) was used to construct a stable h NTCP-expressing cell line(Hu7^(hDNTCPh)) using a recombinant lentivirus system. Then, the morphological characteristics and differentiation molecular markers of Hu7^(hDNTCPh) cells with or without DMSO treatment were characterized. Finally, the susceptibility of Hu7^(hDNTCPh) cells to HBV infection was assessed. Our results showed that Huh7 D cells were resistant to 2.5% DMSO/4% PEG8000, whereas the others were not. Hu7^(hDNTCPh) cells were established to express a high level of h NTCP compared to liver extracts, and Hu7^(hDNTCPh) cells rapidly transformed into a non-dividing, well-differentiated polarized phenotype under DMSO treatment. Hu7^(hDNTCPh) cells fully supported the entire lifecycle of HBV infection. This cell culture system will be useful for the analysis of host-virus interactions, which should facilitate the discovery of antiviral drugs and vaccines. | Ming Zhou Kaitao Zhao Yongxuan Yao Yifei Yuan Rongjuan Pei Yun Wang Jizheng Chen Xue Hu Yuan Zhou Xinwen Chen Chunchen Wu | 2017 | Virologica Sinica2017,32,6: | 7
Oncologic outcomes of primary and post-irradiated early stage rectal cancer: A retrospective cohort study显示文摘AIM: To evaluate the oncologic outcomes of primary and post-irradiated early stage rectal cancer and the effectiveness of adjuvant chemotherapy for rectal cancer patients. METHODS: Eighty-four patients with stage Ⅰ rectal cancer after radical surgery were studied retrospectively and divided into ypstage Ⅰ group (n = 45) and pstage Ⅰ group (n = 39), according to their preoperative radiation, and compared by univariate and multivariate analysis. RESULTS: The median follow-up time of patients was 70 mo. No significant difference was observed in diseaseprogression between the two groups. The 5-year disease-free survival rate was 84.4% and 92.3%, respectively (P = 0.327) and the 5-year overall survival rate was 88.9% and 92.3%, respectively, for the two groups (P = 0.692). The disease progression was not significantly associated with the pretreatment clinical stage in ypstage Ⅰ group. The 5-year disease progression rate was 10.5% and 19.2%, respectively, for the patients who received adjuvant chemotherapy and for those who rejected chemotherapy in the ypstage Ⅰ group (P = 0.681). CONCLUSION: The oncologic outcomes of primary and post-irradiated early stage rectal cancer are similar. Patients with ypstage Ⅰ rectal cancer may slightly benefit from adjuvant chemotherapy. | Chang—ZhengDu Yong—ChunChen YongCai Wei—ChengXue. | 6 | Phosphatidylserine-Specific Phospholipase A1 is the Critical Bridge for Hepatitis C Virus Assembly显示文摘The phosphatidylserine-specific phospholipase A1(PLA1A)is an essential host factor in hepatitis C virus(HCV)assembly. In this study,we mapped the E2,NS2 and NS5A involved in PLA1A interaction to their lumenal domains and membranous parts, through which they form oligomeric protein complexes to participate in HCV assembly.Multiple regions of PLA1A were involved in their interaction and complex formation.Furthermore, the results represented structures with PLA1A and E2 in closer proximity than NS2 and NS5A,and strongly suggest PLA1 A-E2,s physical interaction in cells.Meanwhile,we mapped the NS5A sequence which participated in PLA1A interaction with the C-terminus of domain 1.Interestingly,these amino acids in the sequence are also essential for viral RNA replication.Further experiments revealed that these four proteins interact with each other.Moreover,PLA1A expression levels were elevated in livers from HCV-infected patients. In conclusion,we exposed the structural determinants of PLA1A,E2,NS2 and NS5A proteins which were important for HCV assembly and provided a detailed characterization of PLA1A in HCV assembly. | Qi Yang Min Guo Yuan Zhou Xue Hu Yun Wang Chunchen Wu Min Yang Rongjuan Pei Xinwen Chen Jizheng Chen | 2019 | Virologica Sinica2019,34,5: | 4
Complementation of Wild-Type and Drug-Resistant Hepatitis B Virus Genomes to Maintain Viral Replication and Rescue Virion Production under Nucleos(t)ide Analogs显示文摘As the open reading frames of hepatitis B virus(HBV)genomes are overlapping, resistance mutations(MTs)in HBV polymerase may result in stop codon MTs in hepatitis B surface proteins, which are usually detected as a mixed population with wild-type(WT)HBV.The question was raised how the coexistence of nucleos(t)ide analogs(NAs)resistance MTs and WT sequences affects HBV replication. In the present study,HBV genomes with frequently detected reverse transcriptase(RT)/surface truncation MTs,rtA181T/sW172^*,rtV191I/sW182^*and rtM204I/sW196^*,were phenotypically characterized alone or together with their WT counterparts in different ratios by transient transfection in the absence or presence of Nas.In the absence of Nas,RT/surface truncation MTs impaired the expression and secretion of HBV surface proteins, and had a dose-dependent negative effect on WT HBV virion secretion. However,in the presence of Nas,coexistence of MTs with WT maintained viral replication, and the presence of WT was able to rescue the production of MT HBV virions. Our findings reveal that complementation of WT and MT HBV genomes is highly effective under drug treatment. | Chunchen Wu Baolin Li Xiaoyong Zhang Kaitao Zhao Yingshan Chen Yifei Yuan Yan Liu Rongjuan Chen Dongping Xu Xinwen Chen Mengji Lu | 2019 | Virologica Sinica2019,34,4: | 4
New Algorithm for 3D Facial Model Reconstruction and Its Application in Virtual Reality显示文摘3D human face model reconstruction is essential to the generation of facial animations that is widely used in the field of virtual reality(VR).The main issues of 3D facial model reconstruction based on images by vision technologies are in twofold: one is to select and match the corresponding features of face from two images with minimal interaction and the other is to generate the realistic-looking human face model. In this paper,a new algorithm for realistic-looking face reconstruction is presented based on stereo vision.Firstly,a pattern is printed and attached to a planar surface for camera calibration, and corners generation and corners matching between two images are performed by integrating modified image pyramid Lucas-Kanade(PLK)algorithm and local adjustment algorithm, and then 3D coordinates of corners are obtained by 3D reconstruction.Individual face model is generated by the deformation of general 3D model and interpolation of the features. Finally, realisticlooking human face model is obtained after texture mapping and eyes modeling. In addition, some application examples in the field of VR are given.Experimental result shows that the proposed algorithm is robust and the 3D model is photo-realistic. | Rong-HuaLiang Zhi-GengPan ChunChen | 2004 | Journal of Computer Science & Technology2004,19,4: | 3
Host HDAC4 regulates the antiviral response by inhibiting the phosphorylation of IRF3显示文摘Class II HDACs, such as HDAC4, are critical regulators of the immune response in various immune cells;however, its role in innate immunity remains largely unknown. Here, we report that the overexpression of HDAC4 suppresses the production of type I interferons triggered by pattern-recognition receptors (PRRs). HDAC4 repressed the translocation of transcription factor IRF3 to the nucleus, thereby decreasing IRF3-mediated IFN-β expression. In particular, we also determined that HDAC4 can be phosphorylated and simultaneously block the phosphorylation of IRF3 at Ser386 and Ser396 by TBK1 and IKKε, respectively, by interacting with the kinase domain of TBK1 and IKKε. Furthermore, IFN-β may stimulate the expression of HDAC4. Our findings suggest that HDAC4 acts as a regulator of PRR signaling and is a novel mechanism of negative feedback regulation for preventing an overreactive innate immune response. | Qi Yang Jielin Tang Rongjuan Pei XiaoXiao Gao Jing Guo Chonghui Xu Yun Wang QianWang Chunchen Wu Yuan Zhou Xue Hu He Zhao Yanyi Wang Xinwen Chen Jizheng Chen | 2019 | Journal of Molecular Cell Biology2019,11,2: | 2

Poly-β-hydroxybutyrate alleviated diarrhea and colitis via Lactobacillus johnsonii biofilm-mediated maturation of sulfomucin显示文摘Maintainance of sulfomucin is a key end point in the treatment of diarrhea and inflammatory bowel disease(IBD).However, the mechanisms underlying the microbial sense to sulfomucin are poorly understood, and to date, there are no therapies targeting the secretion and maturation of sulfomucin in IBD.Herein,we biosynthesized poly-β-hydroxybutyrate(PHB)and found that PHB could alleviate inflammation caused by diarrhea and colitis by enhancing the differentiation of sulfomucin.Microbiota transplantation and clearance together demonstrate that PHB promoting sulfomucin is mediated by Lactobacillus johnsonii(L.johnsonii).Further studies revealed that PHB provides a favorable niche for L.johnsonii biofilm formation to resist disturbance and support its growth.L.johnsonii-biofilm alleviates colitis by regulating fucose residues to promote goblet cell differentiation and subsequent sulfomucin maturation.Importantly,PHB alleviates colitis by enhancing sulfomucin secretion and maturation in a L.johnsonii-dependent manner.PHB represents a class of guardians, acting as a safe probiotic-biofilm delivery system that significantly promotes probiotic proliferation.Altogether, this study adds weight to the possible role of probiotics and functional materials in the treatment of intestinal inflammation. The application of PHB and biofilm self-coating L.johnsonii carries high translational potential and may be of clinical relevance. | Ning Ma Pingting Guo Jingyu Chen Zengkai Qi Chunchen Liu Jiakun Shen Yiwei Sun Xiyue Chen Guo-Qiang Chen Xi Ma | 2023 | Science China(Life Sciences)2023,66,7: | 2
A practical method utilizing multi-spectral LiDAR to aid points cloud matching in SLAM显示文摘Light Detection and Ranging(LiDAR)sensors are popular in Simultaneous Localization and Mapping(SLAM)owing to their capability of obtaining ranging information actively.Researchers have attempted to use the intensity information that accompanies each range measurement to enhance LiDAR SLAM positioning accuracy. However, before employing LiDAR intensities in SLAM,a calibration operation is usually carried out so that the intensity is independent of the incident angle and range. The range is determined from the laser beam transmitting time. Therefore, the key to using LiDAR intensities in SLAM is to obtain the incident angle between the laser beam and target surface. In a complex environment,it is difficult to obtain the incident angle robustly. This procedure also complicates the data processing in SLAM and as a result, further application of the LiDAR intensity in SLAM is hampered.Motivated by this problem,in the present study,we propose a Hyperspectral LiDAR(HSL)-based-intensity calibration-free method to aid point cloud matching in SLAM.HSL employed in this study can obtain an eight-channel range accompanied by corresponding intensity measurements.Owing to the design of the laser, the eight-channel range and intensity were collected with the same incident angle and range.According to the laser beam radiation model, the ratio values between two randomly selected channels’intensities at an identical target are independent of the range information and incident angle. To test the proposed method, the HSL was employed to scan a wall with different coloured papers pasted on it(white, red, yellow, pink, and green)at four distinct positions along a corridor(with an interval of 60 cm in between two consecutive positions). Then,a ratio value vector was constructed for each scan. The ratio value vectors between consecutive laser scans were employed to match the point cloud.A classic Iterative Closest Point(ICP)algorithm was employed to estimate the HSL motion using the range information from the matched point clouds.According to the test results,we found that pink and green papers were distinctive at 650,690,and 720 nm.A ratio value vector was constructed using 650-nm spectral information against the reference channel.Furthermore, compared with the classic ICP using range information only, the proposed method that matched ratio value vectors presented an improved performance in heading angle estimation. For the best case in the field test, the proposed method enhanced the heading angle estimation by 72%,and showed an average 25.5%improvement in a featureless spatial testing environment. The results of the primary test indicated that the proposed method has the potential to aid point cloud matching in typical SLAM of real scenarios. | Changhui Jiang Yuwei Chen Wenxin Tian Ziyi Feng Wei Li Chunchen Zhou Hui Shao Eetu Puttonen Juha Hyyppä | 2020 | Satellite Navigation2020,1,1: | 2

All-Polymer Solar Cells and Photodetectors with Improved Stability Enabled by Terpolymers Containing Antioxidant Side Chains显示文摘It is of vital importance to improve the long-term and photostability of organic photovoltaics, including organic solar cells(OSCs)and organic photodetectors(OPDs),for their ultimate industrialization.Herein, two series of terpolymers featuring with an antioxidant butylated hydroxytoluene(BHT)-terminated side chain,PTzBI-EHp-BTBHTx and N2200-BTBHTx(x=0.05,0.1,0.2),are designed and synthesized. It was found that incorporating appropriate ratio of benzothiadiazole(BT)with BHT side chains on the conjugated backbone would induce negligible effect on the molecular weight, absorption spectra and energy levels of polymers, however, which would obviously enhance the photostability of these polymers.Consequently,all-polymer solar cells(all-PSCs)and photodetectors were fabricated, and the all-PSC based on PTzBI-EHp-BTBHT0.05:N2200 realized an optimal power conversion efficiency(PCE)approaching~10%,outperforming the device based on pristine PTzBI-EHp:N2200.Impressively,the all-PSCs based on BHT-featuring terpolymers displayed alleviated PCEs degradation under continuous irradiation for 300 h due to the improved morphological and photostability of active layers. The OPDs based on BHT-featuring terpolymers achieved a lower dark current at−0.1 bias, which could be stabilized even after irradiation over 400 h.This study provides a feasible approach to develop terpolymers with antioxidant efficacy for improving the lifetime of OSCs and OPDs. | Chunyang Zhang Ao Song Qiri Huang Yunhao Cao Zuiyi Zhong Youcai Liang Kai Zhang Chunchen Liu Fei Huang Yong Cao | 2023 | Nano-Micro Letters2023,15,9: | 1
