| 1 | The compositions,sources,and size distribution of the dust storm from China in spring of 2000 and its impact on the global environment显示文摘The average mass concentration of the aerosols in Beijing during the dust storm in the spring of 2000 was -6000 μg · m-3, -30 times as high as that in the non-dust storm days. The enrichment factors of the pollution elements As, Sb and Se were higher than those in the non-dust storm days. This indicated that As, Sb and Se resulted from the pollution sources of those areas, through which the dust storm passed during their long-range transport, in addition to the local pollution sources in Beijing. The enrichment factors of the Pb, Zn, Cd and Cu were much less than those in the non-dust storm days, suggesting that the local pollution sources in Beijing area contributed to them mostly. The enrichment factors of elements Al, Fe, Sc, Mn, Na, Ni, Cr, V and Co were close to 1, showing that these elements originated from crust. The concentration of S in the dust storm was -10 μg · m-3,4 times as high as that in non-dust storm. | 2 | Efficient conversion of benzene and syngas to toluene and xylene over ZnO-ZrO_(2)&H-ZSM-5 bifunctional catalysts显示文摘A series of ZnO-ZrO_(2) solid solutions with different Zn contents were synthesized by the urea coprecipitation method,which were coupled with H-ZSM-5 zeolite to form bifunctional catalysts.As a new benzene alkylation reagent,syngas was used instead of methanol to realize the efficient conversion of syngas and benzene into toluene and xylene.A suitable ratio of ZnO-ZrO_(2) led to the significant improvement in the catalytic performance,and a suitable amount of acid helped to increase the selectivity of toluene/xylene and reduce the selectivity of the by-products ethylbenzene and C^(9+) aromatics.The highest benzene conversion of 89.2%and toluene/xylene selectivity of 88.7%were achieved over 10%ZnO-ZrO_(2)&H-ZSM-5(Si/Al=23)at a pressure of 3 MPa and a temperature of 450℃.In addition,the effect of the zeolite framework structure on product distribution was examined.Similar to the molecular dynamics of aromatic hydrocarbons,H-ZSM-5 zeolites comprise 10-membered-ring pores,which are beneficial to the activation of benzene;hence,the conversion of benzene is higher.H-ZSM-35 and HMOR zeolites exhibited small eight-membered-ring channels,which were not conducive to the passage of benzene;hence,the by-product ethylbenzene exhibits a higher selectivity.The distance between the active centers of the bifunctional catalysts was the main factor affecting the catalytic performance,and the powder mixing method was more conducive to the conversion of syngas and benzene. | Xiao Zhao Xuan Shi Zhongshun Chen Long Xu Chengyi Dai Yazhou Zhang Xinwen Guo Dongyuan Yang Xiaoxun Ma | 2022 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2022,35,5: | 2 |
| 3 | A Soil Morphological Index for Paleosol Research显示文摘We developed a soil morphological index to quantitatively measure the degree ofpaleosol development. For its development, this index combined paleopedogenic features with tensoil macro- and micro-morphological properties from morphological descriptions of Potou and JiuZhoutai loess sections in the Loess Plateau of China. These ten properties are: rubification (colorhue and chroma), total texture (texture type, stickiness and plasticity), melanization (color value),microstructure, fine material (<0.01 mm), primary carbonate, biotite, fe(hydr)oxides, secondarycarbonate (micromorphology) and illuvial clay. Future study may reject some of these propertiesand add others. The index works well with the loess-paleosol sequences. | 8 | Fluoride-mediated nano-sized high-silica ZSM-5 as an ultrastable catalyst for methanol conversion to propylene显示文摘Fluoride mediated nano-sized ZSM-5(ZSM-5-F) with a high Si/Al ratio of 181 was fabricated using a seed-induction method and evaluated the catalysis of the methanol to propylene(MTP) reaction. High propylene selectivity(45%) was similar to ZSM-5-OH synthesized via a hydroxide route. However, ZSM-5-F showed much longer lifetime(305 h) compared with ZSM-5-OH(157 h) in spite of similar crystal size and aluminum content. | 13 | Transaldolase inhibits CD36 expression by modulating glutathione-p38 signaling,exerting protective effects against macrophage foam cell formation显示文摘In atherosclerosis,macrophage-derived foam cell formation is considered to be a hallmark of the pathological process;this occurs via the uptake of modified lipoproteins.In the present study,we aim to determine the role of transaldolase in foam cell formation and atherogenesis and reveal the mechanisms underlying its role.Bone marrow-derived macrophages(BMDMs)isolated from mice successfully form foam cells after treatment with oxidized low-density lipoprotein(80μg/mL).Elevated transaldolase levels in the foam cell model are assessed by quantitative polymerase chain reaction and western blot analysis.Transaldolase overexpression and knockdown in BMDMs are achieved via plasmid transfection and small interfering RNA technology,respectively.We find that transaldolase overexpression effectively attenuates,whereas transaldolase knockdown accelerates,macrophagederived foam cell formation through the inhibition or activation of cholesterol uptake mediated by the scavenger receptor cluster of differentiation 36(CD36)in a p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK)signaling-dependent manner.Transaldolase-mediated glutathione(GSH)homeostasis is identified as the upstream regulator of p38 MAPK-mediated CD36-dependent cholesterol uptake in BMDMs.Transaldolase upregulates GSH production,thereby suppressing p38 activity and reducing the CD36 level,ultimately preventing foam cell formation and atherosclerosis.Thus,our findings indicate that the transaldolase-GSH-p38-CD36 axis may represent a promising therapeutic target for atherosclerosis. | Chengyi Li Zihao Song Pengyue Gao Wei Duan Xiu Liu Sijia Liang Quan Gong Jiawei Guo | 2023 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2023,55,9: | 0 |
