2Discrete Particle Simulation of Gas-Solid Flow in Air-Blowing Seed Metering Device显示文摘In this paper,the gas and seed flow characters in the air-blowing seed metering device are investigated by using the coupled computational fluid dynamics and discrete element method(CFD-DEM)in three dimensions(3D).The method of establishing boundary model based on the computer-aided design(CAD)drawing,has been used to build the boundary model of seed metering device.The 3D laser scanning technique and multi-element method are adopted to establish the particle model.Through a combined numerical and experimental effort,using 3D CFD-DEM software,which is based on the in-house codes,the mechanisms governing the gas and solid dynamic behaviors in the seed metering device have been studied.The gas velocity field and the effect of different rotational speeds and air pressures on the seeding performance and particle velocity have been studied,similar agreements between numerical and experimental results are gained.This reveals that the 3D CFD-DEM model established is able to predict the performance of the air-blowing seed metering device.It can be used to design and optimize the air-blowing seed metering device and other similar agriculture devices.Zhengquan Li Pei Zhang Yongchang Sun Chenglin Zheng Liang Xu Dianyu E 2021Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2021,,6:2

4Characteristics of flow and liquid distribution in a gas-liquid vortex separator with multi spiral arms显示文摘Fischer-Tropsch(F-T)synthesis is an important route to achieve the clean fuel production.The perfor-mance of gas-liquid separation equipment involving in the progressive condensation and separation of light and heavy hydrocarbons in the oil-gas products has become a bottleneck restricting the smooth operation of the F-T process.In order to remove the bottleneck,a gas-liquid vortex separator with simple structure,low pressure drop and big separation capacity was designed to achieve the efficient separation between gas and droplets for a long period.The RSM(Reynolds Stress Model)and DPM(Discrete Phase Method)are employed to simulate the flow characteristics and liquid distribution in the separator.The results show that the separation efficiency is influenced by the flow field and liquid phase concentration in the annular zone.The transverse vortex at the top of spiral arm entrains the droplets with small diam-eter into the upper annular zone.The entrained droplets rotate upward at an angle of about 37.4°.The screw pitch between neighbor liquid threads is about 0.3 m.There is a top liquid ring in the top of annular zone,where the higher is the liquid phase concentration,the lower is the separation efficiency.It is found that by changing the operating condition and the annular zone height the vortex can be strengthened but not enlarged by the inlet velocity.The screw pitch is not affected by both inlet velocity and annular zone height.The liquid phase concentration in the top liquid ring decreases with both the increases of inlet velocity and annular zone height.The total pressure drop is almost not affected by the annular zone height but is obviously affected by the inlet velocity.When the height of annular zone is more than 940 mm,the separation efficiency is not changed.Therefore,the annular zone height of 940 mm is thought to be the most economical design.Xiuying Yao Peng Zuo Chunxi Lu Chenglin E Mengxi Liu 2022Particuology2022,20,9:0
5Effects of Cultivation Density,Fertilizer Type and Fertilizer Amount on Yield of Jicaidou No.1显示文摘[Objectives]This study was conducted to explore the effects of planting density,fertilizer type and fertilizer amount on yield of Jicaidou No.1.[Methods]Three treatments of plant spacing,fertilizer type and fertilizer amount of Jicaidou No.1 were set up respectively to screen out the best combination mode.[Results]The best combination mode was:plant spacing 50 cm,fertilizer amount 1800 kg/hm^(2),and any one of the two fertilizers,as the difference between the two kinds of fertilizers was not significant.[Conclusions]This study provides a scientific basis for the standardized cultivation of kidney beans in Jilin Province.Xishan WANG Shuliang CHEN Chenglin E Hongbo GUAN Jing XIAO 2022Agricultural Biotechnology2022,11,6:0
