| 1 | Numerical Study of Flow and Heat Transfer Characteristics of Impingement/Effusion Cooling显示文摘Three-dimensional numerical simulation is carried out to investigate the flow and heat transfer characteristics of impingement/effusion cooling systems. The impingement/effusion holes are arranged on two parallel perforated plates respectively in a staggered manner. Every effusion hole has an inclined angle of 30° with respect to the surface. The two parallel plates are spaced three times the diameter of the effusion hole. The ratio of center-to-center spacing of adjacent holes to the diameter of the effusion hole is set to be 3.0,4.0 and 5.0 respectively. The flow field,temperature field and wall film cooling effectiveness are calculated for different blowing ratios ranging from 0.5 to 1.5. | 3 | Influence of Multi-hole Arrangement on Cooling Film Development显示文摘A series of computations is conducted for many multi-hole arrangements at several blowing ratios to further investigate the evolution of the film from multi-holes. The influence of multi-hole arrangement on effusion film cooling is analyzed and a preliminary relationship evaluating the film development from developing state to developed state is brought forward. Results show that the coolant jets from front rows of multi-holes merge rapidly and the strength of the kidney vortices due to mainstream-coolant jet interaction in the downstream region are mitigated under super-long-diamond arrangement where the streamwise hole-to-hole pitch is bigger than spanwise hole-to-hole pitch. | 4 | Evolution of Jobs-housing Spatial Relationship in Beijing Metropolitan Area:A Job Accessibility Perspective显示文摘With the urban expansion and economic restructuring, the jobs-housing relationship has become an important issue in studies on urban spatial structure. This paper employed a job accessibility model, which is an evaluation instrument to measure the jobs-housing relationship in Beijing Metropolitan Area from a job accessibility perspective. The results indicate that the population in the central city is declining, whereas the population in the suburbs is consistently growing and forming new population centers. However, the distribution pattern of employment is still highly centralized. Job accessibility varies in different locations, but the inner-city areas(within the Third Ring road) have seen improved job accessibility over time while job accessibility in the suburbs(especially outside the Fourth Ring road) has decreased, and this has led it to become a primary area of residential and employment mismatch. At the same time, the new towns in the outer suburbs have not yet demonstrated great potential to attract more jobs. In addition we find that, to some extent, urban planning changes the jobs-housing relationship, but a polycentric urban spatial structure is not yet evident. The floating population and related housing policy also affect the jobs-housing relationship. | 5 | Phylogenetic and genetic characterization of a 2017 clinical isolate of H7N9 virus in Guangzhou,China during the fifth epidemic wave显示文摘Pathogenic H7N9 influenza viruses continue to pose a public health concern. The H7N9 virus has caused five outbreak waves of human infections in China since 2013. In the present study, a novel H7N9 strain(A/Guangdong/8 H324/2017) was isolated from a female patient with severe respiratory illness during the fifth wave of the 2017 H7N9 epidemic. Phylogenetic analysis showed that the H7N9 viruses collected during the fifth wave belong to two different lineages: the Pearl River Delta lineage and the Yangtze River Delta lineage. The novel isolate is closely related to the Pearl River Delta H7N9 viruses, which were isolated from patients in Guangdong Province. The novel H7N9 isolate has an insertion of three basic amino acids in the cleavage site of hemagglutinin(HA), which may enhance virulence in poultry. The 2017 isolate also possesses an R292 K substitution in the neuraminidase(NA)protein, which confers oseltamivir resistance. | 6 | Study of the Surface Morphology of Gas Hydrate显示文摘Study of the surface morphology of gas hydrate is of great importance in understanding its physical properties and occurrence.In order to investigate the surface morphology of different types(sI and sII)and occurrences(pore-filling and fracture-filling)of gas hydrate,both lab-synthesized and drilled-gas hydrate samples were measured using cryo-scanning electron microscopy(cryo-SEM).Results showed that the surface of s I hydrate was relatively smooth,and spongy nano-pores(200–400 nm)gradually occurred at the surface during continuous observation.The surface of sII hydrate was more compact,showing a tier-like structure.Hydrate occurred in quartz sand and usually filled the pores of the sediments and both hydrate and sediments were cemented with each other.SEM observation of the gas hydrates collected from the South China Sea showed that the surface morphology and contact relation with sediments varied with hydrate occurrence.For instance,hydrates dispersed in sediments mainly filled the pores of the sediments.The existence of microorganism shells,such as foraminifera,was beneficial to the formation of gas hydrate.When hydrate occurred as a massive or vein structure,it was easily distinguished from the surrounding sediments.The surface of hydrate with massive or vein structure showed two distinct characters:one was dense and smooth,the other is porous(several to tens of micrometers in diameter).The occurrence of different hydrate morphologies was probably caused by the supplement rates of methane gas. | SUN Jianye LI Chengfeng HAO Xiluo LIU Changling CHEN Qiang WANG Daigang | 2020 | Journal of Ocean University of China2020,19,2: | 9 |

| 8 | Influence of foraminifera on formation and occurrence characteristics of natural gas hydrates in fine-grained sediments from Shenhu area, South China Sea显示文摘Marine gas hydrates accumulate primarily in coarse-grained, high-permeability layers; however, highly saturated natural gas hydrates have been discovered in the fine-grained sediments of Shenhu area, South China Sea(SCS). This may be explained by key factors, such as the great abundance of foraminifera shells. In this paper, by analyzing the SCS foraminifera structure and performing hydrate formation experiments in the foraminifera shells, the contribution of foraminifera to hydrate accumulation in the SCS was investigated from a microscopic point of view. Simulations of hydrate formation were carried out in both pure SCS foraminifera shells and the host sediments. Pore structures in typical foraminifera were studied by use of micro-focus X-ray computed tomography(CT) and scanning electron microscopy(SEM). Hydrate growth and occurrence characteristics in the foraminifera shells were observed in-situ. The results showed that the presence of foraminifera significantly enhanced the effective porosity of the SCS sediments. Moreover, while the hydrates grew preferentially in the chambers of the coarse-grained foraminifera by adhering to the inner walls of the foraminifera shells, no apparent hydrate accumulation was observed in the fine-grained or argillaceous matrix. | 17 | In-situ emb e dding zeolitic imidazolate framework derived Co–N–C bifunctional catalysts in carbon nanotube networks for flexible Zn–air batteries显示文摘Recently, the development of high-performance bifunctional oxygen catalysts integrated with flexible conductive scaffolds f or rechargeable metal-air batteries has attracted considerable interest, driving by fastgrowing wearable electronics. Herein, we report a flexible bifunctional oxygen catalyst thin film consisting of Co–N–C bifunctional catalysts embedding in carbon nanotube(CNT) networks. The catalyst is readily prepared by pyrolysis of cobalt-based zeolitic imidazolate frameworks(ZIF-67) that are in-situ synthesized in CNT networks. Such catalyst film demonstrates very high catalytic activities for oxygen reduction(onset potential: 0.91 V, and half-wave potential: 0.87 V vs. RHE) and oxygen evolution(10 m Acm^-2 at 1.58 V) reactions, high methanol tolerance property, and long-term stability(97% current retention). Moreover, our integrated catalyst film shows very good structure flexibility and robustness. Based on the obtained film air electrodes, flexible Zn–air batteries demonstrate low charging and discharging overpotentials(0.82 V at 1 m A cm^-1) and excellent structure stability in the bending tests.
