1Process mineralogy of Weishan rare earth ore by MLA显示文摘Mineral liberation analyser(MLA) was applied to quantitatively analyze the rare earth ore from Weishan in Shandong. Mineralogy parameters, such as mineral composition, occurrence states of rare earth elements(REEs) and valuable elements, mineral embedded grain size distribution, mineral association and liberation, are obtained. Results show that the contents of REEs and other valuable elements mainly contained in the ore were La 1.02 wt%, Ce 4.29 wt%, Pr 0.34 wt%, Nd 0.84 wt%, Sr 3.4 wt%and Ba 26.53 wt%, respectively. The REEs mainly occur in bastnaesite and carbocernaite in the form of independent mineral and the contents of bastnaesite and carbocernaite in the ore were 5.96 wt% and12.30 wt%, respectively. 67.34% of strontium occurs in carbocernaite and the rest occurs in celestobarite and strontianite mineral. 92.71% of barium occurs in barite. Liberation of main rare-earth minerals such as bastnaesite and carbocernaite is more than 80% when the grinding fineness is78.42% passing 74 μm. 2Enhancing mineral liberation of a Canadian rare earth are with microwave pretreatment显示文摘Liberation. as an attribute of mineralogy characteristic. whose impacts on finely disseminated Canadian rare earth ore was studied with microwave pretreatment. Samples of a light rare earth ore along with mostly ankerite and biotite as dominant gangue minerals as well as bastnaesite, strontianite and goethite as dominated minerals were exposed to further comminution by ball mill and microwave pretreatment fragmentation. Mineralogical characteristics were analyzed by using a mineral liberation analyzer(MLA).The results indicated that tight association mutually penetrates among dominated minerals in the range size of -300 + 212 μm and 212 + 150 μm and gangue minerals in the form of adjacent type. fine vein type. shell type and packing type. Temperature in the ore samples pre-treated by microwave can rapidly rise to 250 ℃ with microwave power of 0-1.5 kW and microwave time of 0-2 min. Applying the microwave pretreatment merely reduces the hardness of the ore causing the fracture of rare earth ore, but this does not transform or change the original mineralogy characteristics of the ore samples. On the basis of above study. the liberation value of bastnaesite, strontianite and goethite with microwave pretreatment is greater than with conventional comminution when the liberation class is above 75%. The distribution of particle size of rare earth ore samples is better with microwave pretreatment than with conventional comminution for particle size of 7.4 × 10^(-5) m. 3Improving the performance of a thermoelectric power system using a flat-plate heat pipe显示文摘A gravitational flat-plate heat pipe is designed and fabricated in this paper to serve as a heat spreader to diffuse the local heat source to the hot side of the thermoelectric power module.Based on this, an experimental test for the thermoelectric power generation system is conducted to study the influences of the heat spreader on the temperature uniformity and power generation performance when exposing to a local heat source.In addition,the effects of the heating power, inclination angle, and local heat source size on the power generation performance of the thermoelectric power module using a flat-plate heat pipe as a heat spreader are examined and compared with that using a metal plate.The results indicate that the gravitational flat-plate heat pipe has considerable advantages over the metal plate in the temperature uniformity.The superiority of temperature uniformity in the improvement of power generation performance for the thermoelectric power system using a heat pipe is demonstrated.Particularly, the heat pipe shows good adaptability to placement mode and the local heat source size, which is beneficial to the application in the thermoelectric power generation.Suchen Wu Yiwen Ding Chengbin Zhang Dehao Xu 2019Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2019,27,1:6

5Photolysis of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons on soil surfaces under UV irradiation显示文摘Photolysis of some polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) on soil surfaces may play an important role in the fate of PAHs in the environment.Photolysis of PAHs on soil surfaces under UV irradiation was investigated.The effects of oxygen,irradiation intensity and soil moisture on the degradation of the three PAHs were observed.The results showed that oxygen,soil moisture and irradiation intensity enhanced the photolysis of the three PAHs on soil surfaces.The degradation of the three PAHs on soil surfaces is related to their absorption spectra and the oxidation-half-wave potential.The photolysis of PAHs on soil surfaces in the presence of oxygen followed pseudo first-order kinetics.The photolysis half-lives ranged from 37.87 days for benzo[a]pyrene to 58.73 days for phenanthrene.The results indicate that photolysis is a successful way to remediate PAHs-contaminated soils.Chengbin Xu Dianbo Dong Xuelian Meng Xin Su Xu Zheng Yaoyao Li 2013Journal of Environmental Sciences2013,25,3:2

11Developmental Temporal Patterns and Molecular Network Features in the Transcriptome of Rat Spinal Cord显示文摘The molecular network features of spinal cord development that are integral to tissue engineering remain poorly understood in placental mammals,especially in terms of their relationships with vital biological processes such as regeneration.Here,using a large-scale temporal transcriptomic analysis of rat spinal cord from the embryonic stage to adulthood,we show that fluctuating RNA expression levels reflect highly active transcriptional regulation,which may initiate spinal cord patterning.We also demonstrate that microRNAs(miRNAs)and transcriptional factors exhibit a mosaic profile based on their expression patterns,while differential alternative splicing events reveal that alternative splicing may be a driving force for the development of the node of Ranvier.Our study also supports the existence of a negative correlation between innate immunity and intrinsic growth capacity.Epigenetic modifications appear to perform their respective regulatory functions at different stages of development,while guanine nucleotidebinding protein(G protein)-coupled receptors(including olfactory receptors(ORs))may perform pleiotropic roles in axonal growth.This study provides a valuable resource for investigating spinal cord development and complements the increasing number of single-cell datasets.These findings also provide a genetic basis for the development of novel tissue engineering strategies.Jian Yang Lili Zhao Sheng Yi Fei Ding Yumin Yang Yan Liu Yongjun Wang Mei Liu Chengbin Xue Lian Xu Leilei Gong Xinghui Wang Yu Zhang Bin Yu Guo-li Ming Xiaosong Gu 2021Engineering2021,7,11:0
12A low-power high-quality CMOS image sensor using 1.5 V 4T pinned photodiode and dual-CDS column-parallel single-slope ADC显示文摘This paper presents a low-power high-quality CMOS image sensor(CIS)using 1.5 V 4T pinned photodiode(4T-PPD)and dual correlated double sampling(dual-CDS)column-parallel single-slope ADC.A five-finger shaped pixel layer is proposed to solve image lag caused by low-voltage 4T-PPD.Dual-CDS is used to reduce random noise and the nonuniformity between columns.Dual-mode counting method is proposed to improve circuit robustness.A prototype sensor was fabricated using a 0.11μm CMOS process.Measurement results show that the lag of the five-finger shaped pixel is reduced by 80%compared with the conventional rectangular pixel,the chip power consumption is only 36 mW,the dynamic range is 67.3 dB,the random noise is only 1.55 e^(-)_(rms),and the figure-of-merit is only 1.98 e^(-)·nJ,thus realizing low-power and high-quality imaging.Wenjing Xu Jie Chen Zhangqu Kuang Li Zhou Ming Chen Chengbin Zhang 2022Journal of Semiconductors2022,43,8:0

14A Multi-Channel CMOS Analog Front-End Interface IC with 157.8 dB Current Detection Dynamic Range显示文摘A high dynamic range and low-noise CMOS(complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor transistor)front-end interface integrated circuit(IC)with multi-channel detection is presented in this paper.Two different current detection channels,composed of a trans-impedance amplifier(TIA)and an integrator-differentiator TIA,are used to boost the current detection range.A capacitance-coupled instrument amplifier(CCIA)is also included to realize high precision voltage detection.A fourth-order sigma-delta modulator using a second-order loop filter and a second-order noise shaping integral quantizer is adopted to realize effective number of bits above 16 bits.The presented interface IC is implemented in 0.18-μm CMOS process with supply voltage of 3.3 V,and a proto-type electrochemical sensor platform with miniaturized sensor array is developed to verify the functionality of the interface IC.Measurement results indicate that the designed interface IC achieves 157.8 dB current detection dynamic range,and the measured input-referred current noise and voltage noise floor are 1.04 pA and 58.4 nV within 10 kHz integration bandwidths,respectively.Kunyu WANG Wenjing XU Chengbin ZHANG Yanjun YANG Man-Kay LAW Li ZHOU Jie CHEN Ming CHEN 2024Chinese Journal of Electronics2024,33,2:0
