1On controllability and stabilizability of probabilistic Boolean control networks显示文摘The controllability of probabilistic Boolean control networks(PBCNs)is first considered.Using the input-state incidence matrices of all models,we propose a reachability matrix to characterize the joint reachability.Then we prove that the joint reachability and the controllability of PBCNs are equivalent,which leads to a necessary and sufcient condition of the controllability.Then,the result of controllability is used to investigate the stability of probabilistic Boolean networks(PBNs)and the stabilization of PBCNs.A necessary and sufcient condition for the stability of PBNs is obtained first.By introducing the control-fixed point of Boolean control networks(BCNs),the stability condition has finally been developed into a necessary and sufcient condition of the stabilization of PBCNs.Both necessary and sufcient conditions for controllability and stabilizability are based on reachability matrix,which are easily computable.Hence the two necessary and sufcient conditions are straightforward verifiable.Numerical examples are provided from case to case to demonstrate the corresponding theoretical results.ZHAO Yin CHENG DaiZhan 2014Science China(Information Sciences)2014,57,1:17
2Semi-tensor product approach to networked evolutionary games显示文摘In this paper a comprehensive introduction for modeling and control of networked evolutionary games(NEGs) via semi-tensor product(STP) approach is presented. First, we review the mathematical model of an NEG, which consists of three ingredients:network graph, fundamental network game, and strategy updating rule. Three kinds of network graphs are considered, which are i) undirected graph for symmetric games; ii) directed graph for asymmetric games, and iii) d-directed graph for symmetric games with partial neighborhood information. Three kinds of fundamental evolutionary games(FEGs) are discussed, which are i) two strategies and symmetric(S-2); ii) two strategies and asymmetric(A-2); and iii) three strategies and symmetric(S-3).Three strategy updating rules(SUR) are introduced, which are i) Unconditional Imitation(UI); ii) Fermi Rule(FR); iii) Myopic Best Response Adjustment Rule(MBRA). First, we review the fundamental evolutionary equation(FEE) and use it to construct network profile dynamics(NPD)of NEGs.To show how the dynamics of an NEG can be modeled as a discrete time dynamics within an algebraic state space, the fundamental evolutionary equation(FEE) of each player is discussed. Using FEEs, the network strategy profile dynamics(NSPD) is built by providing efficient algorithms. Finally, we consider three more complicated NEGs: i) NEG with different length historical information, ii) NEG with multi-species, and iii) NEG with time-varying payoffs. In all the cases, formulas are provided to construct the corresponding NSPDs. Using these NSPDs, certain properties are explored. 4Logic and logic-based control显示文摘This paper gives a matrix expression of logic. Under the matrix expression, a general description of the logical operators is proposed. Using the semi-tensor product of matrices, the proofs of logical equivalences, implications, etc., can be simplified a lot. Certain general properties are revealed. Then, based on matrix expression, the logical operators are extended to multi-valued logic, which provides a foundation for fuzzy logical inference. Finally, we propose a new type of logic, called mix-valued logic, and a new design technique, called logic-based fuzzy control. 5Dynamics and stability for a class of evolutionary games with time delays in strategies显示文摘This paper investigates the modeling and stability of a class of finite evolutionary games with time delays in strategies. First, the evolutionary dynamics of a sequence of strategy profiles, named as the profile trajectory, is proposed to describe the strategy updating process of the evolutionary games with time delays.Using the semi-tensor product of matrices, the profile trajectory dynamics with two kinds of time delays are converted into their algebraic forms respectively. 6From STP to game-based control显示文摘This paper provides a comprehensive survey on semi-tensor product(STP) of matrices and its applications to different disciplines. First of all, the STP and its basic properties are introduced. Meanwhile, its inside physical meaning is explained. Second, its application to conventional dynamic systems is presented. As an example, the region of attraction of stable equilibriums is discussed. Third, its application to logical systems is presented. Particularly, the algebraic state space representation of logical systems and the important role it plays in analysis and control of logical systems are emphasized. Fourth, its application to finite games is discussed. The most interesting problems include potential game, evolutionary game, and game theoretic control. 8Advances in automation and control research in China显示文摘Automation is the utilization of control techniques together with other information technology to control industrial processes, reducing the need for human intervention. It plays a highly important role in social and economy as well as in daily life. Control theory is the theory of automation, and is an interdisciplinary branch of engineering and mathematics, examining the behavior of dynamical systems. China has a long history of manufacturing automatic devices. In recent years, some rapid progresses in control theory have been made in China. Many new theories and new methodologies have been developed to meet the increasing demands in industry, agriculture, defense, and other social sectors. Contemporary sciences such as complexity, systems biology, quantum technologies, have also found their close links to control theories and technologies. On the other hand, control theory itself has many unsolved fundamental problems requiring further studies and investigation. This paper is to review the development and progress that have been made in all these aspects in China. 11Stabilization of a class of switched nonlinear systems显示文摘The stabilization of a class of switched nonlinear systems is investigated in the paper. The systems con- cerned are of (generalized) switched Byrnes-Isidori canonical form, which has all switched models in (generalized) Byrnes- Isidori canonical form. First, a stability result of switched systems is obtained. Then it is used to solve the stabilization prob- lem of the switched nonlinear control systems. In addition, necessary and sufficient conditions are obtained for a switched affine nonlinear system to be feedback equivalent to (generalized) switched Byrnes-Isidori canonical systems are presented.
