Records of the East Asian winter monsoon from the mud area on the inner shelf of the East China Sea since the mid-Holocene显示文摘AMS14C dating and analysis of grain size, major elements and clay minerals were applied to Core MZ01 from the mud area on the inner shelf of the East China Sea.Based on the environmentally sensitive grain size, clay mineral and major element assemblages, the history of the East Asia winter monsoon since the mid-Holocene could be reconstructed. These three proxies, mean grain size(>9.71μm),chemical index of alteration(CIA)and ratio of smectite to kaolinite in particular, show similar fluctuation patterns. Furthermore,10 extreme values corresponding to the contemporary cooling events could be recognized since the mid-Holocene;these extreme values are likely to have been caused by the strengthening of the East Asia winter monsoon. The cooling events correlated well with the results of theδ18O curves of the Dunde ice core and GISP2,which therefore revealed a regional response to global climate change.Four stages of the East Asia winter monsoon were identified,i.e.8300-6300 a BP,strong and unstable;6300-3800 a BP,strong but stable;3800-1400 a BP,weak and unstable;after 1400 a BP,weak but stable. | LIU ShengFa SHI XueFa LIU YanGuang QIAO ShuQing YANG Gang FANG XiSheng WU YongHua LI ChaoXin LI XiaoYan ZHU AiMei GAO JingJing | 2010 | Chinese Science Bulletin2010,55,21: | 25
Distribution of major and trace elements in surface sediments of Hangzhou Bay in China显示文摘The Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectrometer was used to analyze sediment samples collected from the Hangzhou Bay to determine major and trace elemental concentrations. Based on these concentrations, the study area can be classified into three geochemical provinces. Province I covers the northern Hangzhou Bay area and contains high concentrations of Al_2 O_3 , Fe_2 O_3 , MgO, Na_2 O, K_2 O, MnO, Cr, Cu, Ni, Pb, V, Co and Zn. Province III is located in the western Hangzhou Bay, near the Qiantang River mouth, and contains high concentrations of SiO_2 , Na_2 O, P_2 O_5 , TiO_2 , Cr, Sr, Zr. Province II is located in the middle and eastern Hangzhou Bay, with the medium concentrations of major and trace elements. The results also demonstrate that the grain size is the dominating factor controlling the spatial variations of elemental concentrations, and the Changjiang River (Yangtze River) and Qiantang River sediments play an important role in the distribution of these elements. Anthropogenic impact on heavy metal concentrations (especially Cr, Sr and Zr) can be detected in the surface sediments near the Qiantang River mouth. | LIU Shengfa LIU Yanguang YANG Gang QIAO Shuqing LI Chaoxin ZHU Zhiwei SHI Xuefa | 2012 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2012,31,4: | 5
High efficient catalytic oxidation of 5-hydroxymethylfurfural into 2,5-furandicarboxylic acid under benign conditions with nitrogen-doped graphene encapsulated Cu nanoparticles显示文摘Selective oxidation of 5-hydroxymethylfurfual(HMF) to 2,5-furandicarboxylic acid(FDCA) as a bioplastics monomer is efficiently promoted by a simple system without noble-metal and base additives. In this work, graphene oxide(GO) was first synthesised by an electrochemical method with flexible graphite paper(FGP) as start carbon material, then, nitrogen-doped graphene(NG) layers encapsulated Cu nanoparticles(NPs) was prepared by one-step thermal treatment of GO supported Cu2+ in flowing NH3 atmosphere. Compared with NG supported Cu NPs prepared by the traditional impregnation method, enhanced catalytic activity was achieved over Cu/NG and an FDCA yield of 95.2% was achieved under mild reaction conditions with tert-butylhydroperoxide(t-BuOOH) as the oxidant. Control experiments with different catalysts and different addition procedure of t-BuOOH showed the yield of HMF and various intermediates during reaction. From the changing of intermediates concentrations and reaction rates, a reaction pathway through HMF-DFF-FFCA-FDCA was proposed. This work gives a more convenient, more green, more economical and effective method in encapsulated metal NPs preparation and high selectivity in HMF oxidation to FDCA under mild conditions. | Chaoxin Yang Xiao Li Zhenzhou Zhang Bohan Lv Jiachun Li Zhenjian Liu Wanzhen Zhu Furong Tao Guangqiang Lv Yongxing Yang | 2020 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,11: | 3
A fluid flow model in the lacunar-canalicular system under the pressure gradient and electrical field driven loads显示文摘The lacunar-canalicular system(LCS)is acknowledged to directly participate in bone tissue remodeling. The fluid flow in the LCS is synergic driven by the pressure gradient and electric field loads due to the electro-mechanical properties of bone.In this paper,an idealized annulus Maxwell fluid flow model in bone canaliculus is established, and the analytical solutions of the fluid velocity, the fluid shear stress, and the fluid flow rate are obtained. The results of the fluid flow under pressure gradient driven(PGD),electric field driven(EFD),and pressure-electricity synergic driven(P-ESD)patterns are compared and discussed. The effects of the diameter of canaliculi and osteocyte processes are evaluated. The results show that the P-ESD pattern can combine the regulatory advantages of single PGD and EFD patterns, and the osteocyte process surface can feel a relatively uniform shear stress distribution. As the bone canalicular inner radius increases, the produced shear stress under the PGD or P-ESD pattern increases slightly but changes little under the EFD pattern. The increase in the viscosity makes the flow slow down but does not affect the fluid shear stress(FSS)on the canalicular inner wall and osteocyte process surface. The increase in the high-valent ions does not affect the flow velocity and the flow rate, but the FSS on the canalicular inner wall and osteocyte process surface increases linearly. In this study, the results show that the shear stress sensed by the osteocyte process under the P-ESD pattern can be regulated by changing the pressure gradient and the intensity of electric field,as well as the parameters of the annulus fluid and the canaliculus size, which is helpful for the osteocyte mechanical responses. The established model provides a basis for the study of the mechanisms of electro-mechanical signals stimulating bone tissue(cells)growth. | Xiaogang WU Xiyu WANG Chaoxin LI Zhaowei WANG Yuqin SUN Yang YAN Yixian QIN Pengcui LI Yanqin WANG Xiaochun WEI Weiyi CHEN | 2022 | Applied Mathematics and Mechanics(English Edition)2022,43,6: | 0
Comparative Metabolomics Analysis between Red- and White-Flowered Common Buckwheat Cultivars显示文摘Common buckwheat(Fagopyrum esculentum),a specialty crop in southwest China,is not only used as a supplement to primary grain crops but also to produce beverages, such as tea and wine.To fully exploit the products made from common buckwheat flower,ultra-performance liquid chromatography–electrospray ionization–tandem mass spectrometry(UPLC–ESI–MS/MS)was conducted to analyze the metabolites in red-(‘Guihong 2’)and white-flowered(‘Fengtian 1’)buckwheat cultivars.A total of 784 metabolites were identified of which flavonoids were the largest group with 191 components, followed by organic acids and derivatives(126),and amino acids and derivatives(95).Besides,dozens of phenylpropanoids, nucleotides and derivates, lipids, alkaloids as well as several kinds of indole derivatives and sterides were detected.Among these rich varieties of metabolites,24 metabolites were only detected in the red flower that mainly included 8 anthocyanins and 6 flavones, while 22 metabolites were only detected in the white flower, which mainly contained 5 lipids,5 flavonoids, and 5 organic acids and derivatives. Our results enrich the metabolites’information of buckwheat and may be helpful for the exploitation of products from common buckwheat flowers. | Jiao Deng Fen Dong Chaoxin Wu Jiali Zhao Hongyou Li Juan Huang Taoxiong Shi Ziye Meng Fang Cai Qingfu Chen Pingfang Yang | 2021 | Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2021,90,3: | 0
Study of the spatial growth of stimulated Brillouin scattering in a gas-filled hohlraum via detecting the driven ion acoustic wave显示文摘In an experiment performed on the Shenguang-III prototype laser facility, collective Thomson scattering (TS) is used to study the spatialgrowth of stimulated Brillouin scattering (SBS) in a gas-filled hohlraum by detecting the SBS-driven ion acoustic wave. High-quality timeresolved SBS and TS spectra are obtained simultaneously in the experiment, and these are analyzed by a steady-state code based on theray-tracing model. The analysis indicates that ion–ion collisions may play an important role in suppressing SBS growth in the Au plasma;as aresult, the SBS excited in the filled gas region is dominant. In the early phase of the laser pulse, SBS originates primarily from the high-densityplasma at the edges of the interaction beam channel, which is piled up by the heating of the interaction beam. Throughout the duration of thelaser pulse, the presence of the TS probe beam might mitigate SBS by perturbing the density distribution around the region overlapping withthe interaction beam. | Chaoxin Chen Tao Gong Zhichao Li Liang Hao Yonggang Liu Xiangming Liu Hang Zhao Yaoyuan Liu Kaiqiang Pan Qi Li Sanwei Li Zhijun Li Sai Jin Feng Wang Dong Yang | 2024 | Matter and Radiation at Extremes2024,9,2: | 0
An amorphous FeMoO_(4) nanorod array enabled high-efficiency oxygen evolution electrocatalysis in alkaline seawater显示文摘The development of highly efficient and durable oxygen evolution reaction(OER)catalysts for seawater electrolysis is of great importance for applications. Here,an amorphous FeMoO_(4) nanorod array on Ni foam is reported as a highly active OER electrocatalyst in alkaline seawater, requiring only overpotentials of 303 and 332 mV to achieve 100 and 300 mA·cm^(-2),respectively.Moreover,it shows strong long-term electrochemical durability for at least 50 h. | Jie Tang Shengjun Sun Xun He Hui Zhang Chaoxin Yang Min Zhang Meng Yue Hefeng Wang Yuntong Sun Yonglan Luo Sulaiman Alfaifi Asmaa Farouk Mohamed S.Hamdy Xuping Sun Huiqing Wang Binwu Ying | 2024 | Nano Research2024,17,4: | 0
Enhancing the stability of Ni Fe-layered double hydroxide nanosheet array for alkaline seawater oxidation by Ce doping显示文摘Electrocatalytic hydrogen production from seawater holds enormous promise for clean energy generation.Nevertheless, the direct electrolysis of seawater encounters significant challenges due to poor anodic stability caused by detrimental chlorine chemistry.Herein,we present our recent discovery that the incorporation of Ce into Ni Fe layered double hydroxide nanosheet array on Ni foam(Ce-Ni Fe LDH/NF)emerges as a robust electrocatalyst for seawater oxidation.During the seawater oxidation process,CeO_(2)is generated, effectively repelling Cl^(-)and inhibiting the formation of Cl O-,resulting in a notable enhancement in the oxidation activity and stability of alkaline seawater. The prepared Ce-Ni Fe LDH/NF requires only overpotential of 390 m V to achieve the current density of 1 A cm^(-2),while maintaining long-term stability for 500 h,outperforming the performance of Ni Fe LDH/NF(430 m V,150 h)by a significant margin. This study highlights the effectiveness of a Ce-doping strategy in augmenting the activity and stability of materials based on Ni Fe LDH in seawater electrolysis for oxygen evolution. | Yongchao Yao Shengjun Sun Hui Zhang Zixiao Li Chaoxin Yang Zhengwei Cai Xun He Kai Dong Yonglan Luo Yan Wang Yuchun Ren Qian Liu Dongdong Zheng Weihua Zhuang Bo Tang Xuping Sun Wenchuang(Walter)Hu | 2024 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2024,91,4: | 0
