1Extension of continuous scanning laser Doppler vibrometry measurement for complex structures with curved surfaces显示文摘The continuous Scanning Laser Doppler Vibrometry(SLDV)developed on the base of the galvanometer scanner system has made it possible to quickly obtain the full field vibration responses within a rectangular area of the structure.In this paper,an arbitrary continuous scanning path generating method for Continuous Scanning Laser Doppler Vibometry(CSLDV)is further put forward in order to allow the CSLDV suitable for testing structures featured by complex shapes not just for regular areas.In the first step,the relationship between position of laser spot and the driving voltages of galvanometer scanner system has been described by a mathematical modeling.Then,a novel arbitrary scanning path generating strategy based on CSLDV is presented by deforming a normalization rectangular scanning path to an arbitrary continuous scanning path.The mapping relation between the normalization rectangular scanning path and arbitrary continuous scanning path is established using the reference points.In the second step,a compressor blade with curved surface was taken as an example for modal test using the proposed method.At the same time,a validated experiment was performed in SLDV.The results show the mode shapes derived from the extended CSLDV are in agreement with those from SLDV and the Modal Assurance Criterion(MAC)between the two are all greater than 0.96.They also demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method for CSLDV test and show strong potential on further practical engineering applications.Cuihong LIU Chaoping ZANG Biao ZHOU 2020Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2020,33,12:3
2Immune Responses in Wild-type Mice Against Prion Proteins Induced Using a DNA Prime-Protein Boost Strategy显示文摘Objective To break immune tolerance to prion (PrP) proteins using DNA vaccines.Methods Four different human prion DNA vaccine candidates were constructed based on the pcDNA3.1 vector:PrP‐WT expressing wild‐type PrP,Ubiq‐PrP expressing PrP fused to ubiquitin,PrP‐LII expressing PrP fused to the lysosomal integral membrane protein type II lysosome‐targeting signal,and PrP‐ER expressing PrP locating the ER.Using a prime‐boost strategy,three‐doses of DNA vaccine were injected intramuscularly into Balb/c mice,followed by two doses of PrP protein.Two weeks after the last immunization,sera and spleens were collected and PrP‐specific humoral and cellular immune responses evaluated by ELISA and ELISPOT tests.Results Higher levels of serum PrP antibodies were detected in mice vaccinated using the strategy of DNA priming followed by protein boosting.Of these,WT‐PrP,Ubiq‐PrP,and PrP‐LII induced significantly higher humoral responses.ELISPOT tests showed markedly increased numbers of IFN‐γ‐secreting T cells in mice vaccinated using the strategy of DNA priming followed by protein boosting after stimulation with recombinant PrP23‐90 and PrP23‐231.PrP‐ER inducedthe strongest T‐cell response.Conclusion Prion vaccines can break tolerance to PrP proteins and induce PrP‐specific humoral and cellular immune responses.HAN YanLing LI Yuan SONG Juan WANG Ying SHI Qi CHEN Cao ZHANG BaoYun GUO Yan LI ChaoPing HAN Jun DONG XiaoPing 2011Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2011,24,5:2

4ROBUST DESIGN OF A TWO DEGREE FREEDOM SYSTEM.DUE TO THE PARAMETER UNCERTAINTY显示文摘A method based on the robust design optimization is presented to handle the structural uncertainty problems.The variations caused in dynamic performance can be expressed by the mean response and the standard deviation of the performance.The robust optimization approach,based on a multi-objective and non-deterministic method,attempts to both optimize the mean performance and minimize the variance of the performance simultaneously.The best possible design optimization is chosen by a trade-off decision.An example of robust design of a two degree freedom system is used to effectively illustrate the application in dynamics.The mass and stiffness uncertainty in the main system as well as the uncertainty of the mass,stiffness and damping in the absorber are considered all together in order to minimize the displacement response of the main system within a wide band of excitation frequencies.The robust optimization results show a significant improvement in performance compared with the conventional solution recommended from vibration textbooks.It is indicated that robust design methods have great potential for application in structural dynamics to deal with uncertainty problems.ZANG Chaoping 2008Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2008,21,6:2

19Structural Damage Detection Method Based on Decomposition of the Operating Deflection Shapes显示文摘Full-field measurement techniques such as the scanning laser Doppler vibrometer (LDV) and the electronic speckle pattern interferometry systems can provide a dense and accurate vibration measurement on structural operating deflection shape (ODS) on a relatively short period of time.The possibility of structural damage detection and localization using the ODS looks likely more attractive than when using traditional measurement techniques which address only a small number of discrete points.This paper discusses the decomposition method of the structural ODSs in the time history using principal component analysis to provide a novel approach to the structural health monitoring and damage detection.The damage indicator is proposed through comparison of structural singular vectors of the ODS variation matrixes between the healthy and damaged stages.A plate piece with a fix-free configuration is used as an example to demonstrate the effectiveness of the damage detection and localization using the proposed method.The simulation results show that:(1) the dominated principal components and the corresponding singular vectors obtained from the decomposition of the structural ODSs maintain most of all vibration information of the plate,especially in the case of harmonic force excitations that the 1st principal component and its vectors mostly dominated in the system;(2) the damage indicator can apparently flag out the damage localization in the case of the different sinusoidal excitation frequencies that may not be close to any of structural natural frequencies.The successful simulation indicates that the proposed method for structural damage detection is novel and robust.It also indicates the potentially practical applications in industries.ZANG Chaoping 2011Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2011,24,3:1
