3High Power 170 GHz Frequency Doubler Based on Ga As Schottky Diodes显示文摘The research on high power 170 GHz frequency doubler based on the Ga As Schottky diodes is proposed in this paper. This basic doubler cell is developed with a 50-μm-thick, 600-μm-wide, and 2-mm-long Al N substrate with high thermal conductivity to reduce the thermal effect. Besides, power combined frequency doubler has been fabricated to improve the power capacity by a factor of two. Great agreement has been achieved between the simulated results based on electrothermal model and measured performances. At room temperature, the 3 d B bandwidth of the single doubler based on Ga As Schottky diodes is 11.8% over the frequency range from 160 to 180 GHz with pumping power of 150 to330 m W. And the peak efficiency of the doubler is measured to be 33.1%, while the maximum output power is101.7 m W at 174.08 GHz. As for power combined circuit,the best efficiency is 30.1% with a related output power of204.6 m W. 8A Comprehensive Experimental Study on Immiscible Displacements in Porous Media:Effects of Capillary Forces,Viscous Forces,Wettability and Pore Geometries显示文摘Immiscible displacements in porous media are fundamentally significant for many natural processes and industrial applications.Although extensive work has been done in this field,some limitations still exist due to the difficulty to cover the large number of influencing factors.In this paper,we present a systematic study involving the coupled influence of capillary forces,viscous forces,wetting properties and pore geometries.By microfluidic experiments with high resolutions,both residual fluid distributions and dynamical invasion processes were clearly captured and quantitatively characterized.A void-filling behavior was identified for drainage as the capillary number Ca increased.An anomalous void-leaving behavior was found for the case of imbibition with an unfavorable viscosity ratio M,representing many ribbon-like regions invaded at intermediate Ca turned to be not accessible at high Ca.A pore geometry with a large typical pore-throat ratio seemed to enhance the void-leaving behavior.During the dynamical invasion processes,an intermittency behavior was captured in the form of a fluctuation of the increasing rate of the invading saturation with time.The intermittency dynamics were most evident for drainage with an unfavorable M.A pore geometry with high porosity acted to suppress the intermittency behaviors.Our experimental results sketched out a full view of immiscible displacements in porous media under different conditions,and provided a complete dataset which could be used to test the rapid developing pore-scale models.HUANG Chao DAI Xiaoye SHI Changxing SHI Lin 2021Journal of Thermal Science2021,30,6:0
9A Semi-Blind Method to Estimate the I/Q Imbalanc of THz Orthogonal Modulator显示文摘In terahertz communication,the direct frequency conversion structure in which orthogonal mixer is the main frequency conversion unit,makes engineers get into trouble of in-phase(I)branch and quadrature(Q)branch imbalance,carrier wave leakage,etc.These damages result in system performance tremendous degrades.We proposed a semiblind method to estimate the I/Q imbalance of THz orthogonal modulator,based on predefined preamble and pilot symbols for quadrature amplitude modulation(QAM).In this paper,a transmitter with Y band quadrature mixer and 20Gbps base-band signal has been tested.The bandwidth of the baseband signal was 7GHz,and the modulation type was 16QAM.By this method,7dB improvement of the system’s symbol Mean Square Error(MSE)has been got.That means the proposed method can be used to eliminate the I/Q imbalance effectively.Juan Liu Ge Liu Qiuyu Wu Ying Wang He Yue Changxing Lin Xianjin Deng 2021China Communications2021,18,5:0
10A 220 GHz Orthogonal Modulator Based on Subharmonic Mixers Using Anti-Paralleled Schottky Diodes显示文摘In this paper, A 220 GHz orthogonal modulator based on two symmetrical subharmonic mixers is designed, analyzed and measured, where the mixers are implemented basde on antiparallel Schottky diodes.The orthogonal modulator consists of a 90° phase shifted220 GHz 3 d B coupler, two sub-harmonically pumped mixers and an in-phase 110 GHz 3 d B power divider. The IF output signals are in-phase(I) branch and quadrature(Q) branch operating from DC±3.5 GHz. In the back to back experimentaltests, it is shown that the conversion loss of the two 220 GHz I/Q mixers is less than 30 d B when the IF operating frequency is DC-3.5 GHz, IF input power is-10 d Bm and the LO power is around 6 m W. Based on floating-point simulation, the amplitude and phase imbalance of the I/Q mixer are less than 0.2 d B and 2 degree respectively. 11Phase Noise Effects on the Performance of High-Order Digital Modulation Terahertz Communication System显示文摘As the carrier frequency goes into the terahertz band, the phase noise of the signal source has increasing impacts on the performance of the communication system. Considering a 16 QAM high-order digital modulation terahertz communication system(DMTCS),by comparing the influence of two kinds of local oscillator signal sources with different phase noise characteristics on the bit error rate(BER) performance of the system based on theoretical analysis and experimental research, it is found that the near-end phase noise of local oscillator signal source has a great influence on the BER performance of the DMTCS. The suppression of phase noise of the local oscillator signal source based on choosing loop bandwidth of the digital phase-locked loop(DPLL) at the receiving end is also discussed. 13Identification of novel targets and mechanisms of wogonin on lung cancer,bladder cancer,and colon cancer显示文摘Wogonin(WOG)has been demonstrated to have anti-cancer activity,but the mechanisms remain unclear.In this study,new targets of WOG were predicted for lung cancer,bladder cancer,and colon cancer by using bioinformatics methods.wOG might primarily suppress cancers via regulating arachidonic acid,Ras,MAPK,linoleic acid,PI3K Akt,and folate biosynthesis pathways.3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-5-(3-carboxymethoxyphenyl)-2-(4-sulfophenyl)-2H-tetrazolium(MTS)assay showed that WOG inhibited the proliferation of A549 cells.Real-time quantitative reverse transcription PCR(RT-qPCR)results indicated that anti-lung cancer effect of WOG was achieved by regulating the expression of 18 target genes,including AKRIBI0,AKRIC3,BDNF,CAVI,CXCL2,CYP2B6,CYP4F3,DAO,EGF,ENO3,IL6,PLA2GlB,PLA2G2F,PLA2G4A,PTGES,SLCOIBI,SLCOIB3,and TFAP2A.The Kaplan-Meier survival curves further confirmed that DAO,PLA2G1B,SLCO1B3 and TFAP2A were essential targets via which WOG affected lung cancer survival.Moreover,BDNF,FGF2,and PTGS1 were predicted to be the targets via which WOG alleviated cancer proliferation and invasion in bladder cancer.As for colon cancer,WOG might induce autophagy and inhibit proliferation by down-regulating NTF4 and TH.The study will provide clue for using wOG as a promising antineoplastic agent in basic and translational research,and bring light to the application of herbs containing WOG as food supplements.Lin Zhou Yunran Hu Changxing Gao Congci Yu Zhiting Sun Weihong Ge Hui Yang 2024Journal of Future Foods2024,4,3:0
