2Detection of Impending Vehicle Rollover with Road Bank Angle Consideration Using a Robust Fuzzy Observer显示文摘This article describes a method of vehicle dynamics estimation for impending rollover detection. We estimate vehicle dynamic states in presence of the road bank angle as a disturbance in the vehicle model using a robust observer. The estimated roll angle and roll rate are used to compute the rollover index which is based on the prediction of the lateral load transfer. In order to anticipate rollover detection, a new method is proposed to compute the time to rollover(TTR) using the load transfer ratio(LTR). The nonlinear model, deduced from the vehicle lateral and roll dynamics, is represented by a Takagi-Sugeno(T-S) fuzzy model. This representation is used to account for the nonlinearities of lateral cornering forces. The proposed T-S observer is designed with unmeasurable premise variables to cater for non-availability of the slip angles measurement. The proposed approach is evaluated using Car Sim simulator under different driving scenarios. 3Unknown Inputs Observer for a Class of Nonlinear Uncertain Systems: An LMI Approach显示文摘This paper deals with the simultaneous estimation of states and unknown inputs for a class of Lipschitz nonlinear systems using only the measured outputs. The system is assumed to have bounded uncertainties that appear on both the state and output matrices. The observer design problem is formulated as a set of linear constraints which can be easily solved using linear matrix inequalities (LMI) technique. An application based on manipulator arm actuated by a direct current (DC) motor is presented to evaluate the performance of the proposed observer. 4A Real Time Self-Tuning Motion Controller for Mobile Robot Systems显示文摘This paper proposes an intelligent controller for motion control of robotic systems to obtain high precision tracking without the need for a real-time trial and error method.In addition, a new self-tuning algorithm has been developed based on both the ant colony algorithm and a fuzzy system for real-time tuning of controller parameters. Simulations and experiments using a real robot have been addressed to demonstrate the success of the proposed controller and validate the theoretical analysis. 5Robust Admissibility and Stabilization of Uncertain Singular Fractional-Order Linear Time-Invariant Systems显示文摘This paper addresses the robust admissibility problem in singular fractional-order continuous time systems. It is based on new admissibility conditions of singular fractional-order systems expressed in a set of strict linear matrix inequalities(LMIs).
