| 1 | Effects of Brassinosteroid Associated with Auxin and Gibberellin on Apple Tree Growth and Gene Expression Patterns显示文摘Brassinosteroid is an important hormone that interacts with auxin and gibberellin to regulate plant growth and development. However,there is currently a relative lack of information regarding brassinosteroid in apple. Previous study confirmed that exogenous brassinosteroid treatments increased growth and endogenous brassinosteroid, auxin, as well as gibberellin levels of apple nursery trees. Here we succeeded to find that exogenous brassinosteroid treatments upregulated the transcript expression of auxin biosynthesis, transport, and positive signal transduction genes as well as gibberellin biosynthesis genes. In contrast, the application of exogenous brassinosteroid downregulated the expression of genes encoding negative regulators of auxin and gibberellin signal transductions. Rapid responses of several brassinosteroid-,auxin-, and gibberellin-related genes to the brassinosteroid and brassinazole treatments inferred the crosstalk of BR and IAA or GA. Furthermore,the expression levels of cell growth-related genes were also enhanced by exogenous brassinosteroid. Auxin and gibberellin treatments also influenced growth of apple tree and enhanced the expression of brassinosteroid-and cell growth-related genes. These results indicate that the growth of apple tree is regulated by the interaction between brassinosteroid, auxin, and gibberellin. | 4 | In situ observation of the dissolution kinetics of Al_(2)O_(3) particles in CaO–Al_(2)O_(3)–SiO_(2) slags using laser confocal scanning microscopy显示文摘The dissolution kinetics of Al_(2)O_(3) in CaO-Al_(2)O_(3) SiOslags was studied using a high-temperature confocal scanning laser microscope at 1773 to 1873 K.The results show that the controlling step during the Al_(2)O_(3) dissolution was the diffusionin molten slag.It was found that the dissolution curves of Al_(2)O_(3) particles were hardly agreed with the traditional boundary layer diffusion model with the increase of the CaO/Al_(2)O_(3) ratio of slag.A modified diffusion equation considering slag viscosity was developed to study the dissolution mechanism of Al_(2)O_(3) in slag.Diffusion coefficients of Al_(2)O_(3) in slag were calculated as 2.8×10to 4.1×10m~2/s at the temperature of 1773-1873 K.The dissolution rate of Al_(2)O_(3) increased with higher temperature,CaO/Al_(2)O_(3),and particle size.A new model was shown to be v_(Al_(2)O_(3))=0.16×r_(0)^(1.58)×x^(3.52)×(T-T_(mp))^(1.11)to predict the dissolution rate and the total dissolution time of Al_(2)O_(3) inclusions with various sizes,where vAl_(2)O_(3) is the dissolution rate of Al_(2)O_(3) in volume,μm^(3)/s;x is the value of CaO/Al_(2)O_(3) mass ratio;R_(0) is the initial radius of Al_(2)O_(3),μm;T is the temperature,K;T_(mp) is the melting point of slag,K. | Changyu Ren Caide Huang Lifeng Zhang Ying Ren | 2023 | International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2023,30,2: | 1 |

| 6 | Genome-wide Identification and Expression Analysis of Half-size ABCG Genes in Malus × domestica显示文摘Half-size adenosine triphosphate-binding cassette transporter subgroup G(ABCG) genes play crucial roles in regulating the movements of a variety of substrates and have been well studied in several plants. However, half-size ABCGs have not been characterized in detail in apple(Malus × domestica Borkh.). Here, we performed a genome-wide identification and expression analysis of the half-size ABCG gene family in apple.A total of 46 apple half-size ABCGs were identified and divided into six clusters according to the phylogenetic analysis. A gene structural analysis showed that most half-size ABCGs in the same cluster shared a similar exon–intron organization. A gene duplication analysis showed that segmental, tandem and whole-genome duplications could account for the expansion of half-size ABCG transporters in M. domestica. Moreover, a promoter scan, digital expression analysis and RNA-seq revealed that Md ABCG21 may be involved in root's cytokinin transport and that ABCG17 may be involved in the lateral bud development of M. spectabilis ‘Bly114’ by mediating cytokinin transport.
