| 1 | 人类“性交往”的进化(英文)显示文摘性交往是人类繁衍出现差异的进化“引擎”。现代人继承了祖先成功繁衍后代的性交往策略。这些策略涵盖长期守诺的性交往(如婚姻)、短期性交往(如短暂的外遇)、婚姻外的性交往(如不忠)、私通他人配偶(引诱别人的配偶)以及配偶维持(与单一配偶性交往)等。两性在性交往过程中面临不同的适应问题,性交往问题的进化机制存在极大的性别差异。配偶偏好不同、短期性交往的愿望不同以及性嫉妒的诱因不同等都是性交往具有性别差异的表现。很多实证研究都证实了性交往策略的存在,人类性交往研究是进化心理学研究中较为成熟的一个研究领域。 | David M. | 3 | Sarcopenia and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease:Is there a relationship?A systematic review显示文摘AIM To perform a systematic review to evaluate the incidence and prevalence of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD) in adult patients with sarcopenia.METHODS Randomized clinical trials,cross-sectional or cohort studies including adult patients(over 18 years) with sarcopenia were selected.The primary outcomes of interest were the prevalence or incidence of NAFLD in sarcopenic patients.In the screening process,44 fulltext articles were included in the review and 41 studies were excluded.RESULTS Three cross-sectional studies were included.The authors attempted to perform a systematic review,but due to the differences between the studies,a qualitative synthesis was provided.The diagnosis of NAFLD was made by non-invasive methods(image methods or any surrogate markers) in all three evaluated studies.All the studies suggested that there was an independent association between sarcopenia and NAFLD.CONCLUSION Sarcopenia is independently associated with NAFLD and possibly to an advanced fibrosis. | Cristiane V Tovo Sabrina A Fernandes Caroline Buss Angelo A de Mattos | 2017 | World Journal of Hepatology2017,9,6: | 9 |
| 4 | Estimating steatosis and fibrosis: Comparison of acoustic structure quantification with established techniques显示文摘AIM:To compare ultrasound-based acoustic structure quantification(ASQ) with established non-invasive techniques for grading and staging fatty liver disease.METHODS:Type 2 diabetic patients at risk of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(n = 50) and healthy volunteers(n = 20) were evaluated using laboratory analysis and anthropometric measurements, transient elastography(TE), controlled attenuation parameter(CAP), proton magnetic resonance spectroscopy(1H-MRS; only available for the diabetic cohort), and ASQ.ASQ parameters mode, average and focal disturbance(FD) ratio were compared with:(1) the extent of liver fibrosis estimated from TE and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD) fibrosis scores; and(2) the amount of steatosis, which was classified according to CAP values.RESULTS:Forty-seven diabetic patients(age 67.0±8.6 years;body mass index 29.4±4.5 kg/m2)with reliable CAP measurements and all controls(age 26.5±3.2 years;body mass index 22.0±2.7 kg/m2)were included in the analysis.All ASQ parameters showed differences between healthy controls and diabetic patients(P<0.001,respectively).The ASQ FD ratio(logarithmic)correlated with the CAP(r=-0.81,P<0.001)and 1H-MRS(r=-0.43,P=0.004)results.The FD ratio[CAP<250 d B/m:107(102-109),CAP between 250 and 300 d B/m:106(102-114);CAP between 300 and 350 d B/m:105(100-112),CAP≥350 d B/m:102(99-108)]as well as mode and average parameters,were reduced in cases with advanced steatosis(ANOVA P<0.05).However,none of the ASQ parameters showed a significant difference in patients with advanced fibrosis,as determined by TE and the NAFLD fibrosis score(P>0.08,respectively).CONCLUSION:ASQ parameters correlate with steatosis,but not with fibrosis in fatty liver disease.Steatosis estimation with ASQ should be further evaluated in biopsy-controlled studies. | Thomas Karlas Joachim Berger Nikita Garnov Franziska Lindner Harald Busse Nicolas Linder Alexander Schaudinn Bettina Relke Rima Chakaroun Michael Trltzsch Johannes Wiegand Volker Keim | 2015 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2015,21,16: | 9 |

The twentieth century intensification in food production through agriculture has led to a rapid deterioration of soil quality, evidenced in reduced crop production and rapid loss of soil. In many areas, a tipping point appears to have been passed as basement rock is exposed and 'rocky desertification' dominates. Through the establishment of the 'Soil processes and ecological services in the karst critical zone of SW China'(SPECTRA)Critical Zone Observatory(CZO) we will endevaour to understand the fundmental processes involved in soil production and erosion, and investigate the integrated geophysical-geochemical-ecological responses of the CZ to perturbations. The CZ spans a gradient from undisturbed natural vegetation through human perturbed landscapes.We seek to understand the importance of heterogeneity insurface and below-ground morphology and flow pathways in determining the spatial distribution of key stocks(soil,C, vegetation, etc.) and their control on ecosystem service delivery. We will assess the extent to which the highly heterogeneous critical zone resources can be restored to enable sustainable delivery of ecosystem services. This also applies to clinicalpractice in gastroenterology, which has, in many respects, undergone a recentdigital transformation with numerous consequences that will impact patients andhealth care professionals in the near future. MHAs and MAs are considered tohave great potential, especially for chronic diseases, as they can support the selfmanagementof patients in many ways. Despite the great potential associated withthe application of MHAs and MAs in gastroenterology and health care in general,there are numerous challenges to be met in the future, including both the ethicaland legal aspects of applying this technology. | 11 | Growth and competition among understory plants varies with reclamation soil and fertilization显示文摘Introduction:Following oil sands mining in Alberta,Canada,the main land management goal is to establish a functioning boreal forest ecosystem,including the understory plant community.One of the challenges with restoring the understory is the presence of non-native species that compete with desirable native species for resources.In a greenhouse experiment,we studied the growth of two native understory species(Galium boreale and Vicia americana)and a non-native invasive species(Matricaria perforata)grown with either intra-or interspecific neighbors across three common land reclamation soils and a nitrogen fertilizer treatment.Results:When grown by itself,V.americana aboveground biomass did not differ among soil or fertilizer treatments,likely due to its ability to fix nitrogen.Growth of M.perforata was directly related to soil nitrogen,and it had the greatest increase in biomass with fertilization.Growth and biomass of G.boreale was less than the other species,and it had the highest mortality in the nitrogen-poor soil.When grown together,the proportional biomass of M.perforata and V.americana varied with soil treatment such that M.perforata was dominant in the high-nitrogen forest floormineral mix treatment while V.americana was dominant in the low-nitrogen peat-mineral mix.Conclusions:Operationally,care should be taken when applying fertilizer to reclamation areas,as it may have an unwanted positive effect on growth for undesirable non-native plants at the expense of native species.In terms of seed mixtures,V.americana may be a good option for low inorganic nitrogen resource soils and G.boreale for high nitrogen resource soils. | Jennifer Buss Kyle Stratechuk Bradley D.Pinno | 2018 | Ecological Processes2018,7,1: | 2 |
