| 1 | Progress in the studies on the molecular mechanisms associated with multidrug resistance in cancers显示文摘Chemotherapy is one of the important methods to treat cancer,and the emergence of multidrug resistance(MDR)is one major cause for the failure of cancer chemotherapy.Almost all anti-tumor drugs develop drug resistance over a period of time of application in cancer patients,reducing their effects on killing cancer cells.Chemoresistance can lead to a rapid recurrence of cancers and ultimately patient death.MDR may be induced by multiple mechanisms,which are associated with a complex process of multiple genes,factors,pathways,and multiple steps,and today the MDR-associated mechanisms are largely unknown.In this paper,from the aspects of protein–protein interactions,alternative splicing(AS)in pre-mRNA,non-coding RNA(ncRNA)mediation,genome mutations,variance in cell functions,and influence from the tumor microenvironment,we summarize the molecular mechanisms associated with MDR in cancers.In the end,prospects for the exploration of antitumor drugs that can reverse MDR are briefly discussed from the angle of drug systems with improved targeting properties,biocompatibility,availability,and other advantages. | Lei Zhang Biwei Ye Zhuo Chen Zhe-Sheng Chen | 2023 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023，13，3： | 3 |
| 2 | Unintentional Injury Mortality Among Children Under Five Years--China,2006−2017显示文摘What is already known about this topic?Unintentional injuries among children aged under five years is still a serious public health problem in China.Epidemiological characteristics of under-five unintentional injury are reported in single provinces and cities for China but not nationally based on the Disease Surveillance Points(DSPs)dataset.What is added by this report?Unintentional injury mortality rates for under-five decreased substantially between 2006 and 2017 in China,with the decrease occurring primarily for males and rural children.Children living in rural areas and males had higher unintentional injury mortality rates than children in urban areas and females.The major fatal types of under-five unintentional injury were drowning and road injury.What are the implications for public health practice?Further interventions need to be taken in accordance with the main types of unintentional injuries,especially effective prevention strategies used in other countries or recommended by the World Health Organization(WHO).Even with equal access to injury prevention and control services for different sexes,policy efforts should focus on higher-risk populations,especially children aged under five years who are males or reside in rural areas. | Bo Chen Pengpeng Ye Biwei Tang Siqi Wang Jia Guo Jing Wu | 2020 | China CDC weekly2020，2，10： | 0 |
