1Genesis of the Hongzhen metamorphic core complex and its tectonic implications显示文摘The Hongzhen metamorphic core complex is situated in the Yangtze plate to the east of the Dabie oro- genic belt. Its ductile detachment zone in the foot wall overprints on the metamorphic complex of the Proterozoic Dongling Group. The present profile of the ductile shear zone with consistent SW-dipping mineral elongation lineation shows antiform and reversed S-shape from northeast to southwest respectively. Exposure structures, microstructures and quartz C-axis fabric all indicate top-to-SW movement for the ductile shear zone. Recrystallisation types of quartz and feldspar in the mylonites demonstrate that the shear zone was developed under the amphibolite facies condition and at mid-crust levels. The metamorphic core complex formed in the Early Cretaceous with a muscovite plateau age of 124.8±1.2 Ma. Regional NE-SW extension along a SW-dipping, gentle detachment zone was responsible for formation of the core complex. Intrusion of the Hongzhen granite with a biotite plateau age of 124.8±1.2 Ma rendered the ductile shear zone curved, uplifted and final localization of the core complex. 2K-Ar dating of extensional fault gouge from the Yi-Shu segment of the Tan-Lu fault zone显示文摘Two grabens were developed in the Yi-Shu segment of the Tan-Lu fault zone (TLFZ) during its exten-sional activities, and are now confined by four major NNE-trending normal faults and filled with Creta-ceous sediments. These faults were developed due to their reactivities, containing gouge and cutting the graben sediments. Detailed fieldwork demonstrates that the faults experienced sinistral transten-sional moment related to regional NE-SW extension during the reactivity. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis of the finest gouge samples gives illite crystallinity values higher than 0.42o?2θ, indicating temperatures experienced by the gouge samples were less than 150℃ . From the relation between K-Ar data and proportions of detrital illite in different size fractions of the gouge samples, we conclude that refaulting for the western boundary fault of the TLFZ, abbreviated to F4, took place at ca. 90 Ma and for the eastern boundary fault, abbreviated to F1, happened from 70 to 60 Ma. During the two phases of reactivity imposed by the same NE-SW extension, the TLFZ experienced uplifting and no sediments were deposited in the two grabens. 3Protein convertase subtilisin/Kexin type 9 inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma growth by interacting with GSTP1 and suppressing the JNK signaling pathway显示文摘Objective:Protein convertase subtilisin/Kexin type 9(PCSK9)has been found to be closely associated with the occurrence and development of numerous tumors.However,the precise role of PCSK9 and its relationship to the development of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)remain largely unknown.This study aimed to clarify these issues.Methods:The expression levels of PCSK9 in HCC tissues and HCC cell lines were determined by the quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction,Western blot,and immunohistochemical analyses,and the effects of PCSK9 expression on HCC cell biological traits were investigated by overexpressing and downregulating PCSK9 expression in vivo and in vitro.Additionally,the mechanism by which PCSK9 mediated dissociation of glutathione S-transferase Pi 1(GSTP1)dimers and phosphorylation of the Jun N-terminal kinase(JNK)pathway components were investigated.Results:PCSK9 expression levels were significantly lower in HCC tissues than in adjacent non-tumor samples.In vivo and in vitro experiments suggested that PCSK9 inhibited HCC cell proliferation and metastasis.Further analysis showed that PCSK9 interacted with GSTP1 and promoted GSTP1 dimer dissociation and JNK signaling pathway inactivation in HCC cells.Moreover,the relationships between PCSK9 protein expressions and clinical outcomes were investigated.The PCSK9-lo group displayed a significantly shorter overall survival(OS;median OS:64.2 months vs.83.2 months;log-rank statistic:4.237;P=0.04)and recurrencefree survival(RFS;median RFS:26.5 months vs.46.6 months;log-rank statistic:10.498;P=0.001)time than the PCSK9-hi group.Conclusions:PCSK9 inhibited HCC cell proliferation,cell cycle progression,and apoptosis by interacting with GSTP1 and suppressing JNK signaling,suggesting that PCSK9 might act as a tumor suppressor and be a therapeutic target in HCC patients.Mingyan He Jing Hu Tingting Fang Wenqing Tang Bei Lv Biwei Yang Jinglin Xia 2022Cancer Biology & Medicine2022,19,1:1
4Simulation study of N-hit SET variation in differential cascade voltage switch logical circuits显示文摘The advancement in the process leads to more concern about the Single Event(SE) sensitivity of the Differential Cascade Voltage Switch Logic(DCVSL) circuits. The simulation results indicate that the Single Event Transient(SET) generated at the DCVSL gate is much larger than that at the ordinary CMOS gate, and their SET variation is different. Based on charge collection, in this paper, the effective collection time theory is proposed to set forth the SET pulse generated at the DCVSL gate. 5Multidither coherent optical adaptive technique for deep tissue two-photon microscopy显示文摘Two-photon microscopy normally suffers from the scattering of the tissue in biological imaging.Multidither coberent optical adaptive technique(COAT)can correct the scattered wavefront in parallel.However,the determination of the corrective phases may not be completely accurate using conventional method,which undermines the performance of this technique.In this paper,we theoretically demonstrate a method that can obtain more accurate corrective phases by determining the phase values from the square root of the fuorescence signal.A numnerical simulation model is established to study the performance of adaptive optics in two-photon micros-copy by combining scalar diffraction theory with vector diffraction theory.The results show that the distortion of the wavefront can be corrected more thoroughly with our method in two-photon imaging.In our simulation,with the scattering from a 450-mn-thick mouse brain tissue,excitation focal spots with higher peak-to background ratio(PBR)and images with higher contrast can be obtained.Hence,further enhancement of the multidither COAT correction performance in two-photon imaging can be expected.Biwei Zhang Wei Gong Chenxue Wu Lejia Hu Xinpei Zhu Ke Si 2019Journal of Innovative Optical Health Sciences2019,,4:0
6Challenges and approaches of single-crystal Ni-rich layered cathodes in lithium batteries显示文摘High energy density and high safety are incompatible with each other in a lithium battery,which challenges today's energy storage and power applications.Ni-rich layered transition metal oxides(NMCs)have been identified as the primary cathode candidate for powering next-generation electric vehicles and have been extensively studied in the last two decades,leading to the fast growth of their market share,including both polycrystalline and single-crystal NMC cathodes.Single-crystal NMCs appear to be superior to polycrystalline NMCs,especially at low Ni content(≤60%).However,Ni-rich single-crystal NMC cathodes experience even faster capacity decay than polycrystalline NMC cathodes,rendering them unsuitable for practical application.Accordingly,this work will systematically review the attenuation mechanism of single-crystal NMCs and generate fresh insights into valuable research pathways.This perspective will provide a direction for the development of Ni-rich single-crystal NMC cathodes.Jiangtao Hu Hongbin Wang Biwei Xiao Pei Liu Tao Huang Yongliang Li Xiangzhong Ren Qianling Zhang Jianhong Liu Xiaoping Ouyang Xueliang Sun 2023National Science Review2023,10,12:0
7Hollow CdS-based photocatalysts显示文摘In recent years,photocatalytic technology,driven by solar energy,has been extensively investigated to ease energy crisis and environmental pollution.Nevertheless,efficiency and stability of photocatalysts are still unsatisfactory.To address these issues,design of advanced photocatalysts is important.Cadmium sulphide(CdS)nanomaterials are one of the promising photocatalysts.Among them,hollow-structured CdS,featured with enhanced light absorption ability,large surface area,abundant active sites for redox reactions,and reduced diffusion distance of photogenerated carriers,reveals a broad application prospect.Herein,main synthetic strategies and formation mechanism of hollow CdS photocatalysts are summarized.Besides,we comprehensively discuss the current development of hollow-structured CdS nanomaterials in photocatalytic applications,including H2 production,CO2 reduction and pollutant degradation.Finally,brief conclusions and perspectives on the challenges and future directions for hollow CdS photocatalysts are proposed.Xiangyu Liu Mahmoud Sayed Chuanbiao Bie Bei Cheng Biwei Hu Jiaguo Yu Liuyang Zhang 2021Journal of Materiomics2021,7,3:0
