| 3 | Baihui(DU20)-penetrating-Qubin(GB7) acupuncture inhibits apoptosis in the perihemorrhagic penumbra显示文摘Baihui(DU20)-penetrating-Qubin(GB7) acupuncture can inhibit inflammatory reactions and activate signaling pathways related to proliferation after intracerebral hemorrhage.However,there is no research showing the relationship between this treatment and cell apoptosis.Rat models of intracerebral hemorrhage were established by injecting 60 μL of autologous blood into the right side of the caudate-putamen.Six hours later,the needle traveled subcutaneously from the Baihui acupoint to Qubin acupoint.The needle was alternately rotated(180 ± 10 turns/min) manually along clockwise and counter-clockwise directions.Stimulation lasted for 7 days,and was performed three times each for 6 minutes with 6-minute intervals between stimulations.Rats intraperitoneally receiving Sonic hedgehog pathway activator,purmorphamine(1 mg/kg per day),served as positive controls.Motor and sensory function were assessed using the Ludmila Belayev test.Extent of pathological changes were measured in the perihemorrhagic penumbra using hematoxylin-eosin staining.Apoptosis was examined by terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase(Td T)-mediated d UTP nick end labeling assay.Expression of smoothened(Smo) and glioma-associated homolog 1(Gli1) was determined by western blot assay.Our results showed that Baihui-penetrating-Qubin acupuncture promoted recovery of motor and sensory function,reduced the apoptotic cell percentage in the perihemorrhagic penumbra,and up-regulated Smo and Gli1 expression.We conclude that Baihui-penetrating-Qubin acupuncture can mitigate hemorrhage and promote functional recovery of the brain in a rat model of intracerebral hemorrhage,possibly by activating the Sonic hedgehog pathway. | Beng Zhang Xiao-Hong Dai Xue-Ping Yu Wei Zou Wei Teng Xiao-Wei Sun Wei-Wei Yu Hao Liu Hui Wang Meng-Juan Sun Meng Li | 2018 | Neural Regeneration Research2018,13,9: | 9 |

| 5 | Panaxdiol Saponins Component Promotes Hematopoiesis and Modulates T Lymphocyte Dysregulation in Aplastic Anemia Model Mice显示文摘Objective: To investigate the potential efficacy of panaxadiol saponins component(PDS-C) in the treatment of aplastic anemia(AA) model mice. Methods: Totally 70 mice were divided into 7 groups as follows: normal, model, low-, medium-, high-dose PDS-C(20, 40, 80 mg/kg, namely L-, M-, H-PDS-C), cyclosporine(40 mg/kg), and andriol(25 mg/kg) groups, respectively. An immune-mediated AA mouse model was established in BALB/c mice by exposing to 5.0 Gy total body irradiation at 1.0 Gy/min, and injecting with lymphocytes from DBA mice. On day 4 after establishment of AA model, all drugs were intragastrically administered daily for 15 days, respectively, while the mice in the normal and model groups were administered with saline solution. After treatment, the peripheral blood counts, bone marrow pathological examination, colony forming assay of bone marrow culture, T lymphocyte subpopulation analysis, as well as T-bet, GATA-3 and Fox P3 proteins were detected by flow cytometry and Western blot. Results: The peripheral blood of white blood cell(WBC), platelet, neutrophil counts and hemoglobin(Hb) concentration were significantly decreased in the model group compared with the normal group(all P<0.01). In response to 3 dose PDS-C treatment, the WBC, platelet, neutrophil counts were significantly increased at a dose-dependent manner compared with the model group(all P<0.01). The myelosuppression status of AA was significantly reduced in M-, H-PDS-C groups, and hematopoietic cell quantity of bone marrow was more abundant than the model group. The colony numbers of myeloid, erythroid and megakaryocytic progenitor cells in the model group were less than those of the normal mice in bone marrow culture, while, PDS-C therapy enhanced proliferation of hematopoietic progenitor cells by significantly increasing colony numbers(all P<0.01). Furthermore,PDS-C therapy increased peripheral blood CD3^+ and CD3^+CD4^+ cells and reduced CD3^+CD8^+ cells(P<0.05 or P<0.01). Meanwhile, PDS-C treatment at medium-and high doses groups also increased CD4^+CD25^+Fox P3^+ cells, downregulated T-bet protein expression, and upregulated GATA-3 and Fox P3 protein expressions in spleen cells(P<0.05). | 13 | An experimental study on shock wave mitigation capability of polyurea and shear thickening fluid based suspension pads显示文摘The present experimental study investigates shock wave mitigation capability of potentially new personal protective equipment(PPE) suspension pads made from polyurea and shear thickening fluid(STF).The shock tube test results show that when placed behind Twaron fabric systems with thickness ranging from 2 mm to 18 mm, the replacement of conventional flexible foam pad with STF and STF-infused foam pads with the same thickness of 20 mm greatly reduces the normalized peak pressure(by about 72% for each pad). However, this benefit is partially offset by a large increase in the normalized impulse(by about78% for the STF pad and 131% for the STF-infused foam pad) which may cause the shock wave mitigation performance of these two pads to become less effective. Interestingly, the use of 4 mm thick polyurea pad can greatly reduce the normalized peak pressure and impulse as well(by about 74% and 49%, respectively). These results reveal that among the potentially new suspension pads tested, the polyurea pad displays the best shock wave mitigation performance. | 15 | Study of the Change in Wave Velocity Ratio before and after Two Strong Earthquakes Using Airgun Source Data显示文摘Using the signals excited by the large-volume airgun source at the Binchuan transmitting seismic station from January to June,2016,arrival-time data was acquired at four stations near the epicenter of the Eryuan MS4.5 and MS4.0 earthquakes on February 8,2016,as well as the epicenter of the Yunlong MS5.0 and Eryuan MS4.6 earthquakes on May 18,2016 through the waveform cross-correlation technique.The wave velocity ratio of the four stations was calculated using the single-station method.At the same time,the b-value and the focal mechanism consistency parameters of the study area were also calculated.The results show that:(1)the wave velocity ratio of each station experienced a process of decline-recovery-fast rise before the two strong earthquakes,and a significant quasi-synchronous rapid rise occurred within 3-12 days before the earthquake;(2)the timing of the rapid rise of the wave velocity ratio of the four stations before the Yunlong MS5.0 and Eryuan MS4.6 earthquakes were related to the epicentral distance.The station which observed the earliest increase in rapid rise is the farthest one from the epicenter,and the station where the rapid rise appeared in the latest is closest to the epicenter;(3)the form of change of the wave velocity ratio before the earthquake was different between stations located at different directions in the epicenter area;(4)the b-value and the focal mechanism consistency parameter which is commonly used to characterize the stress level both showed a downward trend before the two strong earthquakes,and were consistent with the change in the wave velocity ratio.According to the preliminary analysis,the wave velocity ratio obtained by using airgun source can better reflect the change in the stress state of the underground medium. | LIU Zifeng YE Beng CHEN Jia ZHOU Qingyun WANG Guangming PENG Guanling LI Yongli | 2019 | Earthquake Research in China2019,33,2: | 4 |
| 16 | Using Airgun Source Signals to Study Regional Wave Velocity Changes before and after the Yunlong M_S5.0 and Yangbi M_S5.1 Earthquakes显示文摘On the basis of the airgun source signals recorded by the stations from January,2016 to June,2017,we use cross-correlation detection technology to obtain the characteristics of the stable phase travel time change of each station.We used the Yunlong MS5.0 and Yangbi MS5.1 earthquakes as samples.According to regional characteristics,13 stations with high signal-to-noise ratios and complete data were selected(including 3 fixed stations and 10 active source stations).They are divided into four regions,and on the basis of the GNSS baseline data,the characteristics of regional wave velocity changes before and after the earthquake are analyzed.The results show that the station phase travel time change and the regional stress characteristics represented by the GNSS baseline data have good correlation in the short-term.Due to different degrees of regional stress,there are differences in the travel time changes of different stations in the four regions.Before the Yunlong MS5.0 and Yangbi MS5.1 earthquakes,with regional stress adjustment,there is an upward trend in the travel time changes of related stations in the adjacent areas of up to 0.02 s.The difference is that there are differences in the time nodes and duration of the travel time anomalies,and there is a reverse descent process after the Yangbi MS5.1 earthquake.There are different degrees of travel time fluctuations in the relevant stations before and after the two earthquakes,but the fluctuation range before and after the earthquake was small.Compared with the water level change of the reservoir,the adjustment of the regional stress is more likely to have a substantial impact on the travel time changes of the relevant stations. | YANG Jianwen LI Lei ZHANG Pengying YE Beng HE Yingwen CHEN Jia CHA Wenjian | 2019 | Earthquake Research in China2019,33,2: | 4 |
