1Discontinuous deformation and displacement analysis: From continuous to discontinuous显示文摘A discontinuous deformation and displacement(DDD) analysis method is proposed for modelling the rock failure process. This method combines the rock failure process analysis(RFPA) method(based on finite element method) and discontinuous deformation analysis(DDA) method. RFPA is used to simulate crack initiation, propagation and coalescence processes of rock during the small deformation state. The DDA method is used to simulate the movement of blocks created by the multiple cracks modelled by the RFPA. The newly developed DDD method is particularly suitable for modelling both crack propagation and block movement during the rock failure process because of the natural and convenient coupling of continuous and discontinuous deformation analyses. The proposed method has been used to simulate crack initiation, propagation and coalescence within a slope as well as the block movement during the landslide process. 7Decoupled Ce-Nd Isotopic Systematics of the Neoproterozoic Huangling Intrusive Complex and Its Geological Significance, Eastern Three Gorges, South China显示文摘Cerium is one of multivalent rear earth elements, which can transfer from trivalence to tretavalence at oxidizing environment. This process may cause variable degrees of fractionation of Ce from other trivalent rear earth elements, and thus may provide specific insight into the geological processes associated with marked redoxomorphism. Multiple geochemical tracing of Sr-Nd-Ce isotopes are performed on the felsic and mafic intrusives of the Neoproterozoic(~800 Ma) Huangling complex located at the eastern Three Gorges, South China. The intrusive rocks exclusively show various extents of negative Ce anomalies. On the εCe-εNd plot, most samples from the mafic intrusions scatter within the second quadrant, whereas those from the felsic intrusions within the fourth Quadrant. Both of the two groups exhibit relatively large range of ?Ce(t) variation but limited ?Nd(t) range, which cause a deviation from the 'crustal array' and reveal a decoupled Nd-Ce isotope correlation. The intermediate-felsic suite have varied Ce/Ce* ratios but broadly proximate εCe(t) values, indicating that their negative Ce anomalies were generated during the magmatism; on the contrary, a positive correlation between εCe(t) and Ce/Ce* is observed for the intermediate-mafic suite, an indication of an origin of post-magmatic alteration or metamorphism for their Ce anomalies. Calculation of model age, the occurrence age of negative Ce anomalies(TCe) for the intermediate-mafic samples infers that the alteration events took place >350 Ma. Data showed that negative Ce anomalies of the felsic intrusions may reflect an increase of oxygen fugacity during magma ascending, rather than an inheritance from their source rocks. 8Genetic variation of height growth rhythm between clones of Larix kaempferi × L. gmelini based on logistic models显示文摘Fifty-three larch interspecific hybrid clones(Larix kaempferi × L.gmelini) and their parent clones were used for growth curve analysis of height variations.The growth curves of the 55 clones were 'S'-shaped and 36 exhibited similar curves as the male parent.The coefficients of the logistic models were higher than 0.943,indicating that our results were effective in the simulation of the growth curves.ANOVA analysis showed significant differences in height of different clones (P\0.01).Average date of maximum height growth was Day 173,and average duration of rapid growth lasted for 50 days.Annual average increase in height was 9.7cm d^(-1) and daily average increase was 0.2 cm.The ratio of GR to the total annual increase in height ranged from 51.2 to 68.8%,with the average being 59.8%.There was a positive correlation between k values and plant heights which benefited from the evaluation of early plant height.There was also a positive correlation between GR(growth stage),GD(plant height) and annual increase in height.These results are informative to the evaluation of the elite clone selection and provide a theoretical basis for breeding and management.Chunming Li Hui Xia Hui Bai Hongmei Wang Yajuan Xing Xiyang Zhao Xiaomei Sun 2018Journal of Forestry Research2018,29,5:1

12Multifunctional AIE Molecules Possessing Long-lasting Room Temperature Phosphorescence, Thermally Activated Delayed Fluorescence and Dual-mode Mechanochromism显示文摘Two simple donor-acceptor multifunctional pure organic light-emitting molecules[(9H-carbazol-9-yl)(4-hydroxyphenyl)-methanone(CzMP)and(4-hydroxyphenyl)(10H-phenothiazin-10-yl)methanone(PTZMP)]with distinct aggregation-induced emission(AIE)properties were synthesized.Surprisingly,CzMP showed a long room temperature phosphorescence lifetime(>900 ms),and PTZMP exhibited triple emission of prompt fluorescence(PF),room temperature phosphorescence(RTP)and thermally activated delayed fluorescence(TADF).Furthermore,CzMP effectively responded to mechanical external forces and solvent fumigation,exhibiting dual-mode mechanochromic luminescence(MCL)including multiple fluorescence color shifts and phosphorescence switching.Time-dependent density functional theory(TDDFT)calculations were investigated to explain different luminescence properties of the two molecules,and the single crystal of CzMP was obtained and analyzed to demonstrate the unique molecular stacking pattern and strong intermolecular interactions in close association with phosphorescence emission.The multifunctional luminescent properties of the emitters explored in this work could be more effectively applied to a wide range of applications,such as information encryption and anti-counterfeiting.ZHANG Xiaokun LI Xiaolong WANG Zonghao BAI Lulu QU Hongmei XU Songlin 2023Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2023,39,6:0
13The extracellular secretion of miR-1825 wrapped by exosomes increases CLEC5A expression:A potential oncogenic mechanism in ovarian cancer显示文摘Background:Ovarian cancer(OC)is a leading cause of gynecological cancer-linked deaths worldwide.Exosomal miR-1825 and its target gene C-type lectin domain family 5 member A(CLEC5A)are associated with tumorigenesis in cancers that was further probed.Methods:Exosomal miR-1825 expression in exosomes and its impact on overall survival(OS)prediction were determined using Gene Expression Omnibus(GEO)and The Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA)data.Target genes of miR-1825 were searched in five prediction databases and prognostically significant differentially expressed genes were identified.Gene Ontology(GO)and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG)enrichment analyses were carried out.The ability of CLEC5A to predict OS was evaluated using univariate and multivariate Cox regression analyses and Kaplan-Meier curves.The CLEC5A expression pattern in OC was validated using immunohistochemistry.The CIBERSORT algorithm was used to compare the immune cell landscape,and the results were validated in a GEO cohort.Finally,the predicted half maximal inhibitory concentration(IC50)values for five commonly used chemotherapy agents were also compared.Results:MiR-1825 level was higher in exosomes derived from OC cells and served as a tumor suppressor.The CLEC5A gene was found to be a target of miR-1825,the upregulation of which was correlated with a poor prognosis.M2 macrophage infiltration was significantly enhanced in the CLEC5A high expression group,while T follicular helper cell infiltration was reduced in it.While the predicted IC50 for cisplatin and doxorubicin was higher in the CLEC5A high expression group,that of docetaxel,gemcitabine,and paclitaxel was lower.Conclusion:MiR-1825,a promising OC biomarker,may promote OC progression by increasing CLEC5A expression via exosome-mediated efflux from tumor cells.QIAOLING WU ZHAOLEI CUI HONGMEI XIA SHAN JIANG JING BAI ZHUO SHAO YANG SUN 2023BIOCELL2023,47,5:0
14In vitro induction of human embryonic stem cells into hepatocyte-like cells显示文摘Human embryonic stem cells (hES cells) are pluripotent and provide a unique, unlimited resource for human hepatocytes, which can serve as a novel cell source for cell transplantation and bioartificial liver (BAL). Here, we have developed a procedure by which hES cells can differentiate into hepatocyte-like cells. After being cultured in suspension in bacteriological petri dishes for 7 d, hES cells developed into cystic embryoid bodies (EBs). The EBs were then cultured in conditional medium containing dexa- methasone and insulin in collagen type I-coated tissue culture dishes for two weeks. The hES cell-derived hepatocyte-like cells (HLCs) displayed some morphologic characteristics of hepatocytes. Reverse-transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and immunofluorescence cell staining proved that the induced HLCs expressed several hepatocyte specific genes including AFP, ALB, CYP1B1 and cytokeratins CK18 and CK19. Furthermore, the induced cells executed a range of hepa- tocyte functions, such as ICG uptake/excretion, glycogen deposits, albumin production and ammonium metabolism.
