1Effect of active oxygen on the performance of Pt/CeO2 catalysts for CO oxidation显示文摘This study was focused on the influence of active oxygen on the performance of Pt/CeO_2 catalysts for CO oxidation. A series of CeO_2 supports with different contents of active oxygen were obtained by adding surfactant at different synthesis steps. 0.25 wt% Pt was loaded on these CeO_2 supports by incipientwetness impregnation methods. The catalysts were characterized by N2 adsorption, X-ray diffraction(XRD), high-resolution transmission electron microscopy(HRTEM), H_2 temperature-programmed reduction(H_2-TPR), dynamic oxygen storage capacity(DOSC) and in-situ DRIFTS technologies. For S-f supports, the surfactant was added into the solution before spray-drying in the synthesis process, which facilitates more active oxygen formation on the surface of CeO_2. After loading Pt, the more active oxygen on CeO_2 contributes to dispersing Pt species and enhancing the CO oxidation activity. As for the aged samples,Pt-R-h shows the highest activity above 190 ℃ because of the presence of more partly oxidized Pt^(δ+) species. 2sEMG based quantitative assessment of acupuncture on Bell's palsy:an experimental study显示文摘Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese therapeutic method, recognized by western medicine as an important complementary therapy. However, the efficacy assessment of this traditional intervention has been mainly empirical rather than scientific. In this paper, we propose a surface electromyography(s EMG) based approach for quantitative assessment of acupuncture on Bell's palsy. The assessment is made by comparing the muscle activities of healthy with diseased ones. A feature-vector of four individual s EMG features is introduced for more comprehensive representation of muscle activity. A clustering technique is then proposed to calculate quantitative differences between the muscle activities of the healthy and diseased sides. A regressive model is also proposed to predict the recovery trend of a patient based on the quantitative assessments during his/her clinical acupuncture history. 14Highly Reversible Zn Metal Anodes Enabled by Increased Nucleation Overpotential显示文摘Dendrite formation severely compromises further development of zinc ion batteries. Increasing the nucleation overpotential plays a crucial role in achieving uniform deposition of metal ions. However, this strategy has not yet attracted enough attention from researchers to our knowledge. Here, we propose that thermodynamic nucleation overpotential of Zn deposition can be boosted through complexing agent and select sodium L-tartrate(Na-L) as example. Theoretical and experimental characterization reveals L-tartrate anion can partially replace H_(2)O in the solvation sheath of Zn^(2+), increasing de-solvation energy. Concurrently, the Na^(+) could absorb on the surface of Zn anode preferentially to inhibit the deposition of Zn^(2+) aggregation. In consequence, the overpotential of Zn deposition could increase from 32.2 to 45.1 mV with the help of Na-L. The Zn-Zn cell could achieve a Zn utilization rate of 80% at areal capacity of 20 mAh cm^(-2). Zn-LiMn_(2)O_(4) full cell with Na-L additive delivers improved stability than that with blank electrolyte. 15Yanshanian–Himalayan geodynamic transformation of the northwestern Junggar Basin, southwestern Central Asian Orogenic Belt (CAOB), and its significance for petroleum accumulation显示文摘The northwestern Junggar Basin in the southwestern Central Asian Orogenic Belt is a typical petroliferous basin.The widely distributed reservoirs in Jurassic–Cretaceous strata indicate that the region records Yanshanian–Himalayan tectonic activity,which affected the accumulation and distribution of petroleum.The mechanism of this effect,however,has not been fully explored.To fill the knowledge gap,we studied the structural geology and geochemistry of the well-exposed Wuerhe bitumen deposit.Our results indi-cate that deformation and hydrocarbon accumulation in the northwestern Junggar Basin during the Yanshanian–Himalayan geodynamic transformation involved two main stages.During the Yanshanian orogeny,a high-angle extensional fault system formed in Jurassic–Cretaceous strata at intermediate to shallow depths owing to dextral shear deformation in the orogenic belt.This fault system connected at depth with the Permian–Triassic oil–gas system,resulting in oil ascending to form fault-controlled reservoirs(e.g.,a veined bitumen deposit).During the Himalayan orogeny,this fault system was deacti-vated owing to sinistral shear caused by far-field stress related to uplift of the Tibetan Plateau.This and the reservoir densification caused by cementation formed favorable hydrocarbon preservation and accu-mulation conditions.Therefore,the secondary oil reservoirs that formed during the Yanshanian–Himalayan tectonic transformation and the primary oil reservoirs that formed during Hercynian–Indosinian orogenies form a total and complex petroleum system comprising conventional and uncon-ventional petroleum reservoirs.This might be a common feature of oil–gas accumulation in the Central Asian Orogenic Belt and highlights the potential for petroleum exploration at intermediate–shal-low depths.Dongming Zhi Jingkun Zhang Tao Wu Anbin Wu Yong Tang Yin Liu Jian Cao 2023Geoscience Frontiers2023,14,4:0
