| 1 | Role of ErbB family receptor tyrosine kinases in intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma显示文摘Aberrant expression and signaling of epidermal growth factor receptor (ErbB) family receptor tyrosine kinases, most notably that of ErbB2 and ErbB1, have been implicated in the molecular pathogenesis of intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma. Constitutive overexpression of ErbB2 and/or ErbB1 in malignant cholangiocytes has raised interest in the possibility that agents which selectively target these receptors could potentially be effective in cholangiocarcinoma therapy. However, current experience with such ErbB-directed therapies have at best produced only modest responses in patients with biliary tract cancers. This review provides a comprehensive and critical analysis of both preclinical and clinical studies aimed at assessing the role of altered ErbB2 and/or ErbB1 expression, genetic modifications, and dysregulated signaling on cholangiocarcinoma development and progression. Specific limitations in experimental approaches that have been used to assess human cholangiocarcinoma specimens for ErbB2 and/or ErbB1 overexpression and gene amplification are discussed. In addition, current rodent models of intrahepatic cholangiocarcinogenesis associated with constitutive ErbB2 overexpression are reviewed. Select interactive relationships between ErbB2 or ErbB1 with other relevant molecular signaling pathways associated with intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma development and progression are also detailed, including those linking ErbB receptors to bile acid, cyclooxygenase-2,interleukin-6/gp130, transmembrane mucins, hepatocyte growth factor/Met, and vascular endothelial growth factor signaling. | 2 | 填充型具有微孔结构的磺化聚芳醚砜/聚醚砜复合质子交换膜的制备及性能显示文摘制备了基于磺化聚芳醚砜(SPAES)及聚醚砜(PES)的填充型复合质子交换膜,研究了其吸水率、尺寸变化、热-机械特性、质子电导率、甲醇透过性及稳定性等性能.通过浸入沉淀相转化法,采用磺化度分别为30%(S30),40%(S40)及50%(S50)的SPAES与PES制备了系列微孔型复合质子交换膜Sx-y(x为SPAES的磺化度,y为SPAES的质量分数);然后利用真空抽滤法在微孔中填充S50制备了相应的填充型复合质子交换膜Sx-y+F50.结果表明,由于微孔的引入及皮层结构的存在,Sx-y膜在低离子交换容量(IEC)条件下仍具有较高的电导率、优良的机械强度、优异的化学稳定性及较低的甲醇透过性.经S50填充后,Sx-y+F50膜的IEC及电导率明显提升,甲醇透过率大幅下降,但机械强度及化学稳定性未见劣化.其中S30-40+F50膜(IEC=0. 69 mmol/g)的综合性能最佳,其质子电导率在90℃水中达到50. 4 m S/cm;经140℃水处理24 h后失重率仅为8. 2%,质子电导率降低仅9%;经过芬顿试剂(3%H2O2,20 mg/L Fe SO4,80℃,1 h)处理后失重率仅为0. 66%;甲醇透过率仅为6. 8×10-8cm2/s. | 朱雨昕 HARAGIRIMANA Alphonse 陆瑶 BUREGEYA Ingabire Providence 宁聪 李娜 胡朝霞 陈守文 | 2019 | 高等学校化学学报2019,40,5: | 3 |
| 3 | Factors in fluencing farmers' participation in crop intensification program in Rwanda显示文摘The crop intensification program(CIP)was introduced in Rwanda in 2007 by the Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Resources(MINAGRI),Rwanda,as a solution to the land fragmentation,low use of agricultural inputs and low access to extension services.However,due to the voluntary nature of farmers’participation and their reluctance to participate,this study aimed at assessing the factors that influence their participation.Data were collected from 340 respondents through a household survey in Mayange and Rusarabuye sectors.Descriptive statistics and binary logistic regression model were used to analyze the data.Results show that the factors that significantly influenced the farmers’participation in the CIP include gender,non-farm income,farmland size,farming experience,land acquisition means,market access,trust and agro-ecological conditions.In fact,the non-farm income significantly increased the farmers’decisions to participate in the CIP(P<0.001)as it eases the financial capital needed to invest in the CIP activities.On the land acquisition means,the farmers who inherited or bought the land positively and significantly participated in the CIP(P<0.05)because they had the land tenure security.However,the participation in the CIP was hindered by inadequate irrigation and mechanization facilities,lack of farmers’participation in the CIP planning process,inadequate extension services,inadequate agricultural inputs and inadequate post-harvest technologies.Closer collaboration between farmers,local leaders,extension agents and agricultural service providers as well as the farmers’practical skills in irrigation and mechanization could enhance the participation to the program.Therefore,there is a need on the part of policymakers to empower farmers with adequate knowledge on better cropping practices and agricultural technologies through appropriate extension services and bottom-up based program. | Alphonse Nahayo Morris O.Omondi ZHANG Xu-hui LI Lian-qing PAN Gen-xing Stephen Joseph | 2017 | Journal of Integrative Agriculture2017,16,6: | 3 |
| 4 | Targeting head and neck tumoral stem cells: From biologicalaspects to therapeutic perspectives显示文摘Head and neck squamous cell cancer(HNSCC) is the sixth most common cancer in the world. Effective therapeutic modalities such as surgery, radiation, chemotherapy and combinations of each are used in the management of the disease. In most cases, treatment fails to obtain total cancer cure. In recent years, it appears that one of the key determinants of treatment failure may be the presence of cancer stem cells(CSCs) that escape currently available therapies. CSCs form a small portion of the total tumor burden but may play a disproportionately important role in determining outcomes. CSCs have stem features such as self-renewal, high migration capacity, drug resistance, high proliferation abilities. A large body of evidence points to the fact that CSCs are particularly resistant to radiotherapy and chemotherapy. In HNSCC, CSCs have been increasingly shown to have an integral role in tumor initiation, disease progression, metastasis and treatment resistance.
