| 2 | A compliant polymorphing wing for small UAVs显示文摘This paper presents the development of a novel compliant polymorphing wing capable of chord and camber morphing for small UAVs.The morphing wing can achieve up to 10%chord extension and±20°camber changes.The design,modeling,sizing,manufacturing and mechanical testing of the wing are detailed.The polymorphing wing consists of one continuous front spar fixed to the fuselage and a rear spar on each side of the wing.Each rear spar can translate in the chordwise direction(chord morphing)and rotate around itself(camber morphing).A flexible elastomeric latex sheet is used as the skin to cover the wing and maintain its aerodynamic shape whilst allowing morphing.The loads from the skin are transferred to the spars using the compliant cellular ribs that support the flexible skin and facilitate morphing.Pre-tensioning is applied to the skin to minimize wrinkling when subject to aerodynamic and actuation loads.A rack and pinion actuation system,powered by stepper motors,is used for morphing.Aero-structural design,analysis and sizing are conducted.Performance comparison between the polymorphing wing and the baseline wing(non-morphing)shows that chord morphing improves aerodynamic efficiency at low angles of attack while camber morphing improves efficiency at high angles of attack. | Sadique P.MUHAMMED Rafic M.AJAJ Kamran AKHAN | 2020 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2020，33，10： | 4 |
| 3 | Hepatic cystic echinococcosis:Percutaneous treatment as an outpatient procedure显示文摘Objective:To demonstrate utility and safety of the puncture aspiration injection and reospiration(PAIR)technique for outpatients.Methods:Percutaneous treatment with US guidance was applied to 33 patients for 44 cysts.Patients treated with the PAIR technique,were outpatients.PAIR and catheterization technique were evaluated for efficacy and safety of procedure and complication rates.Results:Thirty-five of 44 cysts were treated with the PAIR and 9 of 44 were treated with the catheterization technique.The success rate of the cysts Gharbi type 1(CEI)and type 2(Ct3a)treated with the PAIR technique was 1009.hi the follow up of 9 cysts treated with the catheterization technique,2 of them(22%)developed cyst infection and 1(11%)developed a biliary fistula.Conclusions:The PAIR technique was found to be an effective and safe approach in order to treat Gharbi type 1 and type 2 cysts percutaneously for outpatients.It has a very low complication rate in comparison with the catheterization technique.So every effort should be mode to finish the treatment with PAIR technique. | Mert Kroglu Bekir Erol Cemil Gürses Baris Türkbey Cem Yunus Bas Ahmet Sükrü Alparslan Banu Kale Kroglu Iclal Erdem Toslak Bülent eki Okan Akhan | 2014 | Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Medicine2014，7，3： | 4 |
| 4 | Effects of honey as a scolicidal agent on the hepatobiliary system显示文摘AIM: To examine the effects of 10% diluted honey, which has been shown to be scolicidal, on the liver and biliary system and determine whether it could be used as a scolicidal agent in the presence of biliary-cystic communication. METHODS: Thirty Wistar-Albino rats were divided into two groups. Honey with 10% dilution in the study group and 0.9% saline (NaCl) in the control group were injected into the common bile ducts of rats through a 3-mm duodenotomy. The animals were sacrificed 6 mo after the procedure. Histopathological, biochemical, and radiological examinations were performed for evaluation of side effects. RESULTS: At the end of the sixth month, liver function tests were found to be normal in both groups. The tissue samples of liver and ductus choledochus of the honey group showed no histomorphologic difference from the control group. No stricture on the biliary tree was detected on the retrograde cholangiograms.
