| 1 | 雷洛昔芬对绝经后妇女骨密度、骨代谢生化指标和血脂影响的随机对照研究显示文摘目的 确定盐酸雷洛昔芬 (RLX)对中国绝经后妇女骨密度、骨代谢生化指标及血脂的影响。方法 将来自 3所医院的 2 0 4例绝经后妇女 [平均年龄 (6 0± 5 )岁 ,平均体重 (6 3± 9)kg]随机分组 ,进行双盲安慰剂对照的临床研究 ,受试者每天接受RLX 6 0mg(n =10 2 ,RLX组 )或安慰剂 (n =10 2 ,安慰剂组 )治疗 12个月 ,并于服药前及服药 12个月后各进行一次骨密度、骨代谢生化指标及血脂的测定。结果 与安慰剂相比 ,RLX使腰椎和髋部骨密度显著升高 ,RLX组腰椎的骨密度增加2 30 % ,而安慰剂组降低 0 0 8% ,两组比较 ,差异有极显著性 (P <0 0 0 1) ;RLX组髋部骨密度增加2 4 6 % ,安慰剂组增加 1 0 7% ,两组比较 ,差异有显著性 (P <0 0 5 )。RLX组骨代谢生化指标血清骨钙素和血清C端交联肽分别降低 2 7 6 %和 2 4 0 % ,而安慰剂组则分别降低 10 6 %和升高 15 8% ,两组比较 ,差异有极显著性 (P <0 0 0 1)。RLX组总胆固醇和低密度脂蛋白胆固醇分别降低 6 4 %和34 6 % ,而安慰剂组则分别升高 1 4 %和降低 19 1% ,两组比较 ,差异有极显著性 (P <0 0 0 1)。两组间高密度脂蛋白胆固醇和甘油三酯水平未见差异。仅有 5例因不良事件而提前退出研究 (RLX组 3例 ,安慰剂组 2例 )。 | 郑淑蓉 吴宜勇 张忠兰 杨欣 惠英 张颖 陈淑玲 邓文慧 刘慧 Abie Ekangaki Jodie Stocks Kristine Harper 刘建立 | 2003 | 中华妇产科杂志2003，38，4： | 10 |

| 4 | Optimization of taste-masking on ibuprofen microspheres with selected structure features显示文摘The microsphere was a primary particulate system for taste-masking with unique structural features defined by production process. In this article, ibuprofen lipid microspheres of octadecanol and glycerin monostearate were prepared to mask the undesirable taste of ibuprofen via three kinds of spray congealing processes, namely, air-cooling, water-cooling and citric acid solution-cooling. The stereoscopic and internal structures of ibuprofen microspheres were quantitatively analyzed by synchrotron radiation X-ray micro-computed tomography(SR-μCT) to establish the relationship between the preparation process and microsphere architectures. It was found that the microstructure and morphology of the microspheres were significantly influenced by preparation processes as the primary factors to determine the release profiles and taste-masking effects. The sphericity of ibuprofen microspheres congealed in citric acid solution was higher than that of other two and its morphology was more regular than that being congealed in air or distilled water, and the contact angles between congealing media and melted ibuprofen in octadecanol and glycerin monostearate well demonstrated the structure differences among microspheres of three processes which controlled the release characteristics of the microspheres. The structure parameters like porosity, sphericity, and radius ratio from quantitative analysis were correlated well with drug release behaviors. | 6 | Effects of raloxifene hydrochloride on bone mineral density, bone metabolism and serum lipids in Chinese postmenopausal women with osteoporosis: a multi-center, randomized, placebo-controlled clinical trial显示文摘Background Raloxifene has been approved for prevention and treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis in Caucasian women. It also has some positive effects on serum lipids in Caucasians. The objective of this study was to determine the effect of raloxifene hydrochloride on lumbar spine and total hip bone mineral density (BMD), bone metabolism, and serum lipids in Chinese postmenopausal women with osteoporosis.Methods This was a multi-center, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial in which 204 postmenopausal Chinese women with osteoporosis were assigned to receive raloxifene (60 mg) or placebo treatment daily for 12 months. BMD, serum bone metabolism markers, and serum lipids were measured before and after drug administration. BMD was measured by Dual-Energy X-Ray Absorptiometry (DEXA) and bone metabolism markers were analyzed by one-step enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Serum lipids were measured by enzymatic analysis.Results At the end of the 12-month study, lumbar spine BMD increased in both groups with a mean increase of (3.3±4.8) % in the raloxifene group and (1.0±4.9) % in the placebo group (P<0.001). There was a mean increase in total hip BMD of (1.4±4.8) % in the raloxifene group and a mean decrease of (0.9±5.0) % in the placebo group (P<0.001). No subject in the raloxifene group had a new vertebral fracture and 5 placebo subjects had new fractures (P>0.05). In the raloxifene group, the median decreases in the biochemical markers of bone metabolism serum osteocalcin and C-telopeptide were 41.7% and 61.5%, respectively. These changes were statistically significant compared with those in the placebo group (10.6% and 35.6%, P<0.001, respectively). Both total cholesterol and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol decreased significantly in the raloxifene group compared with those in the placebo group (P<0.001, respectively) and there was no significant effect of raloxifene on high-density lipoprotein cholesterol and triglycerides compared with placebo. | 7 | The function of animal ‘eyespots’:Conspicuousness but not eye mimicry is key显示文摘Many animals are marked with conspicuous circular features often called 'eyespots',which intimidate predators,preventing or halting an attack.It has long been assumed that eyespots work by mimicking the eyes of larger animals,but recent experiments have indicated that conspicuousness and contrast is important in eyespot function,and not eye mimicry.We undertake two further experiments to distinguish between the conspicuousness and mimicry hypotheses,by using artificial prey presented to wild avian predators in the field.In experiment 1,we test if eyespot effectiveness depends on the marking shape(bar or circle)and arrangement(eye-like and non-eye-like positions).We find no difference between shapes or arrangement;all spots were equally effective in scaring birds.In experiment 2,we test if the often yellow and black colors of eyespots mimic the eyes of birds of prey.We find no effect of shape,and no advantage to yellow and black spots over non-eye-like but equally conspicuous colors.The consistent finding is that eyespot function lies in being a conspicuous signal to predators,and not necessarily due to eye mimicry. | Martin STEVENS Abi CANTOR Julia GRAHAM Isabel S.WINNEY | 2009 | Current Zoology2009，55，5： | 2 |
