| 5 | Electrochemically assisted production of biogenic palladium nanoparticles for the catalytic removal of micropollutants in wastewater treatment plants effluent显示文摘Biogenic palladium nanoparticles(bio-Pd NPs)are used for the reductive transformation and/or dehalogenation of persistent micropollutants.In this work,H2(electron donor)was produced in situ by an electrochemical cell,permitting steered production of differently sized bio-Pd NPs.The catalytic activity was first assessed by the degradation of methyl orange.The NPs showing the highest catalytic activity were selected for the removal of micropollutants from secondary treated municipal wastewater.The synthesis at different H2 flow rates(0.310 L/hr or 0.646 L/hr)influenced the bio-Pd NPs size.The NPs produced over 6 hr at a lowH2 flow rate had a larger size(D50=39.0 nm)than those produced in 3 hr at a high H2 flow rate(D50=23.2 nm).Removal of 92.1%and 44.3%of methyl orange was obtained after 30 min for the NPs with sizes of 39.0 nm and 23.2 nm,respectively.Bio-Pd NPs of 39.0 nm were used to treat micropollutants present in secondary treated municipal wastewater at concentrations ranging fromμg/L to ng/L.Effective removal of 8 compounds was observed:ibuprofen(69.5%)94.3%)90%efficiency.Overall,these data indicate that the size,and thus the catalytic activity of the NPs can be steered and that the removal of challengingmicropollutants at environmentally relevant concentrations can be achieved through the use of bio-Pd NPs. | Cindy Ka Y Law Kankana Kundu Luiza Bonin Lorena Peñcoba-Antona Eduardo Bolea-Fernandez Frank Vanhaecke Korneel Rabaey Abraham Esteve-Nez Bart De Gusseme Nico Boon | 2023 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2023，，6： | 1 |

| 16 | Efficacy of vasopressin, steroid, and epinephrine protocol for in-hospital cardiac arrest resuscitation: a systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials with trial sequential analysis显示文摘OBJECTIVES To assess the effect of vasopressin,steroid and epinephrine(VSE)combination therapy on return of spontan-eous circulation(ROSC)after in-hospital cardiac arrest(IHCA),and test the conclusiveness of evidence using trial sequential ana-lysis(TSA).METHODS The systematic search included PubMed,EMBASE,Scopus,and Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials.Randomized controlled trials(RCTs)that included adult patients with IHCA,with at least one group receiving combined VSE therapy were selected.Data was extracted independently by two reviewers.The main outcome of interest was ROSC.Other out-comes included survival to hospital discharge or survival to 30 and 90 days,with good neurological outcomes.RESULTS We included a total of three RCTs(n=869).Results showed that VSE combination therapy increased ROSC(risk ra-tio=1.41;95%CI:1.25-1.59)as compared to placebo.TSA demonstrated that the existing evidence is conclusive.This was also validated by the alpha-spending adjusted relative risk(1.32[1.16,1.49],P<0.0001).Other outcomes could not be meta-analysed due to differences in timeframe in the included studies.CONCLUSIONS VSE combination therapy administered in cardiopulmonary resuscitation led to improved rates of ROSC.Fu-ture trials of VSE therapy should evaluate survival to hospital discharge,neurological function and long-term survival. | Danish Iltaf Satti Yan Hiu Athena Lee Keith Sai Kit Leung Jeremy Man Ho Hui Thompson Ka Ming Kot Arslan Babar Gauranga Mahalwar Abraham KC Wai Tong Liu Leonardo Roever Gary Tse Jeffrey Shi Kai Chan International Health Informatics Study(IHIS)Network | 2022 | Journal of Geriatric Cardiology2022，19，9： | 0 |
