2Synthesis and Characterization of Nano-hydroxyapatite Powder Using Wet Chemical Precipitation Reaction显示文摘Hydroxyapatite(HA) nano-powder was synthesized via wet chemical technique in a used precipitation reaction,in which Ca(OH)_2 and H_3PO_4 were used as precursors.Deionised water was used as a diluting media for the reaction and ammonia was used to adjust the pH.The synthetic HA nano-powder has some medical applications such as a coating material in orthopaedic implants and in dental.HA powder has been studied at different temperatures from 100 to 800 ℃ to achieve the stoichiometric Ca/P ratio 1.667.The optimum temperature was found to be 600 ℃.Above this temperature,the HA powder decomposed to CaO.The crystallite size of HA powder was found to be in the range of 8.47—24.47 nm.The crystallographic properties were evaluated by X-ray diffraction,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,energy dispersive Xray spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy.The results show that,high purity of nano-hydroxyapatite powders could be obtained at low temperatures,and the crystallinity,crystallite size and Ca/P ratio of the resulting nanoparticles were found to be dependent on the calcination temperature.When Ca/P ratio exceeded1.75,formation of CaO phase was observed.Syed Sibte Asghar Abidi Qasim Murtaza 2014Journal of Materials Science & Technology2014,30,4:8
3Endoscopic imaging:How far are we from real-time histology?显示文摘Currently,in gastrointestinal endoscopy there is increasing interest in high resolution endoscopic technologies that can complement high-definition white light endoscopy by providing real-time subcellular imaging of the epithelial surface.These 'optical biopsy' technologies offer the potential to improve diagnostic accuracy and yield,while facilitating real-time decision-making.Although many endoscopic techniques have preliminarily shown high accuracy rates,these technologies are still evolving.This review will provide an overview of the most promising high-resolution imaging technologies,including high resolution microendoscopy,optical coherence tomography,endocytoscopy and confocal laser endoscopy.This review will also discuss the application and current limitations of these technologies for the early detection of neoplasia in Barrett's esophagus,ulcerative colitis and colorectal cancer.Richa Shukla Wasif M Abidi Rebecca Richards-Kortum Sharmila Anandasabapathy 2011World Journal of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy2011,3,10:3

5Fast image super-resolution algorithm based on multi-resolution dictionary learning and sparse representation显示文摘Sparse representation has attracted extensive attention and performed well on image super-resolution(SR) in the last decade. However, many current image SR methods face the contradiction of detail recovery and artifact suppression. We propose a multi-resolution dictionary learning(MRDL) model to solve this contradiction, and give a fast single image SR method based on the MRDL model. To obtain the MRDL model, we first extract multi-scale patches by using our proposed adaptive patch partition method(APPM). The APPM divides images into patches of different sizes according to their detail richness. Then, the multiresolution dictionary pairs, which contain structural primitives of various resolutions, can be trained from these multi-scale patches.Owing to the MRDL strategy, our SR algorithm not only recovers details well, with less jag and noise, but also significantly improves the computational efficiency. 6Global well-posedness of 3-D density-dependent Navier-Stokes system with variable viscosity显示文摘Given initial data(ρ0, u0) satisfying 0 < m ρ0≤ M, ρ0- 1 ∈ L2∩˙W1,r(R3) and u0 ∈˙H-2δ∩ H1(R3) for δ∈ ]1/4, 1/2[ and r ∈ ]6, 3/1- 2δ[, we prove that: there exists a small positive constant ε1,which depends on the norm of the initial data, so that the 3-D incompressible inhomogeneous Navier-Stokes system with variable viscosity has a unique global strong solution(ρ, u) whenever‖ u0‖ L2 ‖▽u0 ‖L2 ≤ε1 and ‖μ(ρ0)- 1‖ L∞≤ε0 for some uniform small constant ε0.
